Apple announced a new Dark Mode for Xcode 10. I&#39;ve downloaded the beta but now I can&#39;t find any option to turn it on. I&#39;m currently on macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

I&#39;ve just updated to Xcode 9.4.1 and experienced an issue with the clipboard being cleared randomly.

So I select a text, hit `CMD+C`, then go to the position I want to paste it, hit `CMD+V`, but either

- it plays the system alert sound and doesn&#39;t paste anything, or
- it pastes a previous snippet that I copied earlier.

I am working on an iOS app. It is working fine in Xcode 9.4.1, but when I build it in Xcode 10 it gives me following error:

Multiple commands produced error xcode 10

When updating to Xcode 10, iOS static library target fails to build. Way how I am trying to build it is following:

    xcodebuild -target TargetName -configuration Release clean build

With Xcode 9 everything runs smoothly, but when Xcode 10 is used for build, I am getting following error (after clean runs smoothly):

This probably unrelated, but I noticed that new Xcode 10 build system flags duplicated `Copy Bundle Resource` Info.plist files as errors, so I did make sure that there&#39;re no duplicated entries, but probably this error is not related to this fact.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

In iOS 12, when does the UICollectionView layout cells, use autolayout in nib

Yesterday, I&#39;ve downloaded beta version of Xcode 11. After that, I&#39;ve opened my project and tried to run with new Xcode. Unfortunately error has occurred with message:

I&#39;ve closed beta version and tried to run again with latest stable version of Xcode (10.2.1), but the same error has occurred. I need to mention that before attempting to run a project with Xocde 11, it worked without any problems on Xcode 10. Nothing has been changed before and after running with beta Xcode.

What I&#39;ve already tried:

 - I&#39;ve removed Xcode 11 beta
 - I&#39;ve cleaned my project and pulled it from latest branch
 - I&#39;ve completely removed Xcode 10 from:

Have been out of Swift coding for almost a year, I&#39;m back. 

Download Xcode 10 beta. Have I lost my mind?  I&#39;ve tried every trick I know, none of the UI elements show up in storyboard. Zero. The sidebar is empty.

Archive button grayed out in Xcode

After updating to the latest version of Xcode at the moment (version 10.0) the project is unable to build because it found some errors regarding some &quot;Command CompileSwift failed with a nonzero exit code&quot; error.

**How do I solve this errors?**
They appear in most of the Pods (I use CocoaPods) I use inside my project.

I have tried updating the pod version and the pods to the latest version available, but the problem is still there.

I have searched a lot through the web and there is very little information regarding this issue.

Trying to run a build on simulator and I get this error:

This was not there when using the GM of `Xcode 8`, but started soon as I downloaded it again form the mac app store.

Is there any way to identify the cause of this failure? It&#39;s showing Signing Identity:     &quot;-&quot; when I try to run in the simulator also. why do we need signing identity in simulator? And one more thing is if I quit Xcode and restart, it will build properly when I change code or add a method will again build failing.

What&#39;s the trick to get Google Fabric / Crashlytics working with Xcode 10?

**Edit:** Thanks to all who have commented so far. What i&#39;ve tried so far:

 - tried reinstalling the pods / clearing pod caches
 - tried cleaning build folder, then restarting xcode
 - tried playing with -ObjC linker flag. It does indeed look like this flag has something to do with the issue, but unfortunately I need this flag active as I use objective-c frameworks that have static categories on classes


Xcode 10b5 - duplicate symbol linker error, can&#39;t compile with Crashlytics

In Xcode 10, the toolbar had an inter-locking ring icon which showed the assistant editor, it&#39;s missing in Xcode 11.

Show Assistant Editor missing in Xcode 11?

I have upgraded to `Xcode 10` on `High Sierra` and now the [Rewarded Ad example project][1] from AdMob complains that `com.apple.commcenter.coretelephony.xpc` is not working correctly.

Is there a new entitlement that I have to enable? I am searching for hours without any clue.

**UPDATE:**
This only happens from the simulator. On the device it works fine. They must have added a new restriction.

Xcode 10 seems to break com.apple.commcenter.coretelephony.xpc

So it&#39;s not a bug that I couldn&#39;t add images in the code (and run older projects). How do we then add images from now on in the code as just typing `UIImageView(image: ` won&#39;t accept any png or jpeg.

Xcode 10 - image literals no longer available

After migrating my framework to Xcode 10 beta (10L176w) I started to get warnings like:

&gt; Mapping architecture arm64 to x86_64. Ensure that this target&#39;s Architectures and Valid Architectures build settings are configured correctly for the iOS Simulator platform.

... and:

&gt; Mapping architecture armv7 to i386. Ensure that this target&#39;s Architectures and Valid Architectures build settings are configured correctly for the iOS Simulator platform.

Despite these warnings the build and the unit tests all pass Ok. I&#39;m using Swift 4.2.

Still, what are these warnings about?


What does warning &quot;Mapping architecture arm64 to x86_64&quot; mean?

What is &#39;Multi-cursor editing&#39; in Xcode 10 editor. (more information about the same is mentioned in [release notes][1] but unable to understand.)

Multi-cursor editing in Xcode 10

I&#39;m using the final version of Xcode 10 on macOS Mojave beta 11. I downloaded the Additional Tools for Xcode 10 package [from Apple&#39;s website][1].

When I try to install the Network Link Conditioner Preference Pane, Settings.app displays this error:

&gt; “Network Link Conditioner” preferences is installed with macOS and can’t be replaced.

However, the preference pane is **not visible** inside Settings.app. I even checked under `/Library/PreferencePanes` - it&#39;s not there.

Cannot install Xcode 10 Network Link Conditioner in macOS Mojave

I&#39;d like to use the new build system of Xcode 10 for development, but our build in our continuous integration system fails since the `xcarchive` produced has an issue: the `Info.plist` in the `xcarchive` is missing the `ApplicationProperties` key and the information therein!

It turns out switching back to the legacy build system fixes this. This can be done in the workspace settings (File &gt; Workspace Settings… &gt; Build System). But I would prefer to keep the new build system for development and only use the legacy build system for CI builds.

Is there a way to make `xcodebuild` use the legacy build system without modifying the workspace?

I have just been (involuntarily) upgraded to Xcode 10.3 (10G8). I&#39;m getting the following error:
