I need to debug CSS for some site running on the device under Android (in the common REPL mode). As I know it is possible to connect the device with the desktop via USB cable to do that. But the problem is I have no such a device (with Android). I have the Android emulator (Andy) but it seems that chrome installed on it has no dev tools at all. 
So is it possible to solve the problem without physical Android device?

I&#39;m unable to debug using VSCode for Flutter. I&#39;m using Windows and I&#39;m trying to use an Android emulator. 

I have attempted to reinstall Flutter, Android SDK and VSCode to fix the issue, as well as tried setting environment variables.

I recently discovered that the Android 2.0 SDK supports multitouch through new functions in the MotionEvent class. You can specify a pointer index when retrieving touch properties, and in cases where multiple fingers are on the screen there should be multiple pointers provided.

Unfortunately, I only have a G1 to test on and it&#39;s running Android 1.5 and not 2.0.

Is there any way to test multitouch without a 2.0 device? In the iPhone simulator, you can hold down option and shift option to perform two fingered pinch and two fingered drag, respectively. Is there any similar functionality in the Android emulator? Is it something I should expect to see in the future, or should I just suck it up and buy a new test phone?

All of these work on most devices I&#39;ve been testing (Droid X, Droid 2, Thunderbolt, Incredible) but don&#39;t work on the emulator and at least 1 device (Samsung GT i5500).

I spent the last two days trying to figure out how to debug an HTML5 app I created using Cordova 3.2 and deployed to an Android 2.3 device. All the articles/posts I&#39;ve seen provide hacks rather than real solutions :( and most of the time, none of them works for my case; debug the css styles and the Angularjs code inside my app..

So far I tested;

I injected the script to the `index.html` file then visited the generated URL in debug.phonegap.com but nothing happens; only a blank page.

Most of the articles I found point to obsolete Github repository that countain a Jar file.. but it&#39;s not found :(

**Edge inspect**

It works and shows the webpage I&#39;m browsing on the PC inside the mobile.. But the problem is that it uses some other integrated browser (or emulator) than the one that runs phonegap apps; so the results are not accurate.

**Chrome emulator**

Same as Edge inspect; it doesn&#39;t allow to view real web-kit v530 that is shipped with Android 2.3.

**The dream solution**

The perfect solution would be an extension to Google Chrome (desktop) that enables you to switch the desktop browser to the same one found in Android 2.3 platforms; no emulation no hacks, just the browser itself with web-kit v 530.

Unfortunately such solution doesn&#39;t exist :( or I&#39;m wrong?

I&#39;m looking to speed up a few simulations of mine in CUDA, but my problem is that I&#39;m not always around my desktop for doing this development. I would like to do some work on my netbook instead, but my netbook doesn&#39;t have a GPU. Now as far as I know, you need a CUDA capable GPU to run CUDA. Is there a way to get around this? It would seem like the only way is a GPU emulator (which obviously would be painfully slow, but would work). But whatever way there is to do this I would like to hear.

What&#39;s the difference between emulation and simulation?

I know that similar questions have been asked before, but my problem is new only after installing Android Studio 2.3, the latest version in March 2017.  I have several years experience developing Android applications, and I have never encountered this problem before.  After upgrading to version 2.3 of Android Studio, my emulator is no longer able to access the internet.  I even uninstalled/reinstalled Android Studio 2.3 from scratch and created a new emulator, and I am still getting the same error.  This is not an app problem.  I can&#39;t even access the internet from Chrome, and I wasn&#39;t having this problem last week.  The message that I get says that the server DNS address could not be found -- DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG.  The only thing that has changed on my computer in the last week is the new version of Android plus possibly updates to Windows 10.  And yes, my computer has access to the internet.  Below is an image of my emulator when I try to use Chrome to search for &quot;Google&quot;.

I`m asking how to enable my VT/NX for my MacBook, when I try to use X86 emulator, it appears to me that VT/NX NOT ENABLED, it had never seem this when I used 10.9 system, after I update my MacBook to Yosemite, it appears to me.

When I try to start my x86 emulator, it tells me:

	Starting emulator for AVD &#39;X86&#39;
	emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
	Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
	CPU acceleration status: HAX is not installed on this machine (/dev/HAX is missing).

But the AVD shows me that I had installed HAXM.

When I try to install by myself again, installer prints `VT/NX NOT ENABLED`.

I tried running all versions of Intel HAXM I could get:

    IntelHAXM_1.0.8.dmg     
    IntelHAXM_1.1.0_for_10.10.dmg

I wish to simulate camera in the android emulator using the webcam. Basically I need to only take photos with the camera in the emulator (live preview is not needed i.e if it makes it any easier)

I followed the tutorial [here][1] which is the only one I could find that was close to my requirements 

But many of the libraries used in that tutorial(like android.hardware.CameraDevice) are not available in present sdk and are replaced by new libraries(like android.hardware.camera).

I have a program, which is running on two processors, one of which does not have floating point support. So, I need to perform floating point calculations using fixed point in that processor. For that purpose, I will be using a floating point emulation library. 

I need to first extract the signs, mantissas and exponents of floating point numbers on the processor which do support floating point. So, my question is how can I get the sign, mantissa and exponent of a single precision floating point number.

I am creating my own bash script, but I am stuck at the moment. Basically, the script would be used to automate server setup in CentOS. Some software normally asks the user to type a password. I want the script to put the password that I have generated and stored as a variable instead of asking the user.
