The first time I ran Genymotion virtual device, it had worked. But when I tried running it today, I got this error message

I am trying to run a simple OpenGL program in Android. I am running this in an Android 4.1 emulator. I switched on its GPU emulation and it worked fine yesterday. When I ran that today, initially it was hanging saying, `OpenGL taking time to render - Wait or Close dialog box`. After few runs again it was crashing saying

When I run Genymotion, I get the following error:

From VirtualBox, in the main parameters of software, check a network adapter &quot;Host-only&quot; is present.

How can I fix that?


GenyMotion Unable to start the Genymotion virtual device

I have got a **2.67**&amp;nbsp; GHz Celeron processor, and **1.21**&amp;nbsp; GB of RAM on a **x86** Windows **XP** Professional machine. 

My understanding is that the **Android Emulator** should start fairly quickly on such a machine, but for me, it doesn&#39;t. I have followed all the instructions in setting up the IDE, SDKs, JDKs and such and have had some success in starting the emulator quickly, but that is very rare. How can I, if possible, fix this problem?

Even if it starts and loads the home screen, it is very sluggish. I have tried the [Eclipse IDE][1] in [version 3.5][2] (Galileo) and [3.4][3] (Ganymede).

Why is the Android emulator so slow? How can we speed up the Android emulator?

I am working with React-Native, Android, and Genymotion on Mac. When I run `react-native run-android` I get this lines at the end of the launch operation:

However, `adb devices` returns this:

So far I&#39;ve found no solution to run my app on the emulator. Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Since upgrading to Lollipop, I&#39;m having adb issues when using a Genymotion emulator. Devices don&#39;t show up in Android Studio, and I&#39;ve also gotten the following error when trying to run `adb devices`:

    $ adb devices

    adb server is out of date.  killing...
    cannot bind &#39;tcp:5037&#39;
    ADB server didn&#39;t ACK
    * failed to start daemon *
    error:

I&#39;m not sure if it&#39;s because of the Lollipop upgrade or coincidence.

Per Chris Satton&#39;s comment, I investigated if multiple adb processes were running (`ps aux | grep adb`), and it looks like it&#39;s a Genymotion conflict(?). It looks to include its own version of adb.

I have reinstalled, deleted and tried about EVERYTHING to get Genymotion to work again.

I do not have the device I need, but Genymotion was PERFECT for the job, until Mavericks update I have been fighting to get it to work again. 

MacBook Pro, Retina 13-inch, Early 2013.
i5, 8gb.

I&#39;m running version 1.3.1 for os x.
I do have Virtualbox 4.3 installed with Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.0-89960.vbox-extpack too.

My Virtualbox starts up normally without ANY errors.
I tried Environment variables putting vbox on my $PATH, all sorts of things.
Nothing works! 

I have no idea what to do anymore, anyone out there had similar problems and fixed it ?

I downloaded Genymotion but cannot get it to work. I keep on getting &quot;virtualization engine not found, plugin loading aborted&quot;. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, force quit and restarted it, and looked at other solutions to no avail. It seems to hit a snag [here][1].

I can not figure out how to access localhost from a Genymotion android emulator. By the way, Im using MAMP.

I am trying to get React-Native to work with `Android V4.2.2 (Genymotion)` but I am unable to test the app on the Emulator. When I ran `react-native run-android`, I get this error `Could not run adb reverse: spawnSync`

NOTE: In the log it saids SDK directory does not exist, I have double check that I do have the SDK installed in that directory.

React Native adb reverse ENOENT

I installed Genymotion with a virtual Box and the Genymotion plugin (Android Studio), created a new device and runs properly, even from Android Studio. 

However when I hit the Run button, the Genymotion device does not appear on the Device Chooser, it says &#39;**Nothing to Show**&#39; under the &#39;Choose a running device&#39; radio button. How can I get the Genymotion device to appear on the Device Chooser and run my app? Is it something I am missing from the SDK manager?

I have several genymotion emulators for different API levels. The problem is this:

 1. I run the app on a single emulator with the option &#39;same device for future launches&#39; checked.
 2. I open another emulator.
 3. I run the the app again.

After this, the app only runs on the first emulator and I can&#39;t figure out how do I show the dialog (select target) again to run the app on both emulators.

Genymotion does not start Android virtual device

I&#39;m currently trying out Genymotion and boy, it&#39;s so much faster than the ADT emulator.

But I need to install Google Play to download some apps into it. How do I do this?

I have been using genymoton for quite some time now.
