In my particular case, I want to bind to the IsReadOnly property of a TextBox to set the Content property of a Button? They are both part of the same StackPanel.

I&#39;ve tried doing it with a DataTrigger with a Binding to the ElementName of the TextBox and a Trigger using the TextBox name as the SourceName.

Any thoughts?

Which C# XML documentation comment tag is used for the literals `true`, `false` and `null`?

In Microsoft&#39;s own documentation, these literals appear in **bold text**. For example, the documentation for the property [ArrayList.IsFixedSize][1] appears as:

&gt; **true** if the [ArrayList][2] has a fixed size; otherwise, **false**. The default is **false**.

None of [Microsoft&#39;s Recommended Tags][3] seem to apply to this situation. The best fit appears to be [&amp;lt;c&amp;gt;][4], however `&lt;c&gt;true&lt;/c&gt;` appears as `true` when the documentation is rendered by [Doxygen][5].

However, using `&lt;b&gt;true&lt;/b&gt;` with Doxygen yielded bold text as I surmised that it might. But that leaves me wondering about **the portability of using standard HTML tags** with other documentation generation tools such as [Sandcastle][6] and [GhostDoc][7].

Is there any way to combine mutliple styles in XAML to make a new style that has all of the desired settings?

For example (pseudo code);

When I inspect elements in Chrome, under my styles I have `element.style {}`, What does this refer to? It contains styles I am not including in my code source.

In a `ListView` there are `ListviewItems` where they must not change appearance when the mouse is over them or they are selected. 

I tried to accomplish that with this style and did *somewhat* succeed:

The documentation for `android:fontFamily` does not list this information in any place (I checked [here][2], and [here][3]). In the `styles.xml` file in the application I&#39;m working on somebody listed this as the font family, and I&#39;m pretty sure it&#39;s wrong:

I was trying to add global styles in the same way like in angular app, but it totally does not work.

How to set `TextView` style (bold or italic) within Java and without using the XML layout?

In other words, I need to write `android:textStyle` with Java.

How can I control the background image and colour of a body element within an `iframe`? Note, the embedded body element has a class, and the `iframe` is of a page that is part of my site. 

The reason I need this is that my site has a black background assigned to the body, and then a white background assigned to divs that contain text. A WYSIWYG editor uses an `iframe` to embed content when editing, but it doesn&#39;t include the div, so the text is very hard to read. 

The body of the `iframe` when in the editor has a class that isn&#39;t used anywhere else, so I&#39;m assuming this was put there so problems like this could be solved. However, when I apply styles to `class.body` they don&#39;t override the styles applied to body. The weird thing is that the styles do appear in Firebug, so I&#39;ve no idea what&#39;s going on!

UPDATE - I&#39;ve tried @mikeq&#39;s solution of adding a style to the class that is the body&#39;s class. This doesn&#39;t work when added to the main page&#39;s stylesheet, but it does work when added with Firebug. I&#39;m assuming this is because Firebug is applied to all elements on the page whereas the CSS is not applied within iframes. Does this mean that adding the css after window load with JavaScript would work?

My component has styles that depend on current datetime. In my component I&#39;ve got the following function.

The exact error is the following:

I know the exception appear in development mode only at the moment the value is checked. If the checked value is different of the updated value, the exception is thrown.

So I tried to update the current datetime at each lifecycle in the following hook method to prevent the exception:

In WPF, how would I apply multiple styles to a `FrameworkElement`?  For instance, I have a control which already has a style. What is difference between width, innerWidth and outerWidth, height, innerHeight and outerHeight in jQuery

I&#39;m trying to change the drawable that sits in the Android actionbar searchview widget.

 For instance, I am setting the text as follows:

How to target all controls (WPF Styles)

Currently I&#39;m using either a WebView or a TextView to show some dynamic data coming from a webservice in one of my apps. 
If the data contains pure text, it uses the TextView and applies a style from styles.xml.
If the data contains HTML (mostly text and images) it uses the WebView.

However, this WebView is unstyled. Therefor it looks a lot different from the usual TextView.
I&#39;ve read that it&#39;s possible to style the text in a WebView simply by inserting some HTML directly into the data. This sounds easy enough, but I would like to use the data from my Styles.xml as the values required in this HTML so I won&#39;t need to change the colors et cetera on two locations if I change my styles.

So, how would I be able to do this? I&#39;ve done some extensive searching but I have found no way of actually retrieving the different style attributes from your styles.xml.  Am I missing something here or is it really not possible to retrieve these values?

MaterialUI Custom Hover Style

I have a `ListViewItem` that I am applying a `Style` to and I would like to put a dotted grey line as the bottom `Border`.

How can I do this in WPF? I can only see solid color brushes.

How can I achieve a dashed or dotted border in WPF?

I use Google Chrome developer tools and I am constantly inspecting one element against another back and forth to find out what may be causing a particular styling issue.

It would be nice to compare the differences in style between element 1 and element 2.

Can this be done with chrome currently or via some workaround? Is there a tool out there that can do what I am looking for?

*Current example of style difference is that I have an inline `H4` next to a `A` where the `A` is appearing higher in vertical alignment. I am not seeking a solution in this question as I will sort it out.*

Difference between two element styles with Google Chrome

What I have is an object that has an `IsReadOnly` property. If this property is true, I would like to set the `IsEnabled` property on a Button, ( for example ), to false.

I have an order entry form that has a `ListBox` with a list of line items. I have my items template, and one of the values is a `ComboBox` in each of my Items.

Now, my form can also create Credit memo&#39;s in addition to purchase orders, but when I am creating a credit memo, I want to put the words &quot;Credit Memo&quot; over the list box,  however, the `TextBlock` covers the `ComboBox` in two of my line items. Styling nested elements in WPF

I have a few WPF applications and I want all my styles to be in a shared assembly instead of declaring them in each application separately.

I am looking for a way so I don&#39;t have to change all my `Style=&quot;{StaticResource BlahBlah}&quot;` in the existing applications; I just want to add the reference to this style assembly, and delete it from the current application, so it&#39;s taken from the assembly.

I am trying to set the default Style for every window in my WPF Windows application in my app.xaml. So far i have this in app.xaml:

The only problem is that the selected item has a blue box to the right. I assume there is a way to change the selection color, but I can&#39;t find it.

I have just been learning about how styles and control templates in WPF can affect the appearance of buttons,

I&#39;m trying to set the Button&#39;s FlatStyle, in the resources I&#39;ve seen I can&#39;t find anything that tells me how I can do this, in Windows Forms this is set through `FlatStyle = Flat`.

How would one do this in WPF?

By default, the `Validation.ErrorTemplate` in **WPF** is just a small red border without any `ToolTip`.

In **Silverlight 4**, the validation error is nicely styled out-of-the-box.

The selected item in a WPF TreeView has a dark blue background with &quot;sharp&quot; corners. That looks a bit dated today:

I would like to change the background to look like in Explorer of Windows 7 (with/without focus):

What I tried so far does not remove the original dark blue background but paints a rounded border on top of it so that you see the dark blue color at the edges and at the left side - ugly.

I would like to refrain from redefining the control template as [shown][6] here or [here][7]. I want to set the minimum required properties to make the selected item look like in Explorer.

**Alternative:** I would also be happy to have the focused selected item look like mine does now when it does not have the focus. When losing the focus, the color should change from blue to grey.

WPF TreeView: How to style selected items with rounded corners like in Explorer

I have been searching and trying different methods for hours now.  I just can&#39;t seem to get these two images and text all on one line. I want both the images and both text to all be on one line arranged image, text, image, text My images are coded like this with simple styles attacted 

     &lt;img style=&#39;height: 24px; width: 24px; margin-right: 4px;&#39; src=&#39;design/like.png&#39;/&gt;&lt;h4 class=&#39;liketext&#39;&gt;$likes&lt;/h4&gt;
	 &lt;img style=&#39;height: 24px; width: 24px; margin-right: 4px;&#39; src=&#39;design/dislike.png&#39;/&gt;&lt;h4 class=&#39;liketext&#39;&gt;$dislikes&lt;/h4&gt;


My &quot;liketext&quot; class is just has a simple text color modifier.  With this code the first image and text are on the same line, and the the next image and text is on the line below.  I want all four objects to be on the same line.  I really have tried to solve this question on my own and appreciate any help given and hopefully this post can help others as well thank you!
