I&#39;m creating custom elements in my app and want to match the look and feel of the new iOS. iOS 7 introduced to us a very common lighter blue color, the default color or tint for several elements, including the system button, segmented control, etc. They&#39;ve made it easy to select the color using IB, as seen here:

However, I haven&#39;t found how to easily access the color programmatically. I checked out the [UIColor documentation][2], and there doesn&#39;t seem to be any accessor for the blue system color in the class itself.

Here&#39;s my question: does a simple accessor exist for this color? `[UIColor ?]` or something like it? If not, does someone know the exact **RGB values** for that color?

How can I get the iOS 7 default blue color programmatically?

I was looking to be able to turn any UIColor into a gradient. The way I am intending to do this is by using Core Graphics to draw a gradient. What I am trying to do is to get a color, lets say:

    [UIColor colorWithRed:0.5 green:0.5 blue:0.5 alpha:1.0];
and get a UIColor which is a few shades darker and a few shades lighter. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.

but that doesn&#39;t work, even when I know the color is green, it always falls into the else part.

Also, is there a way to output the current color in the debug console.

and

Converting UIColor to CGColor in swift

My current application runs on iOS 5 and 6. 

The navigation bar is having an orange color and the status bar is having a black background color with white text color. However, when I run the same application on iOS 7, I observe the status bar looks transparent with the same orange background color as the navigation bar and the status bar text color is black. 

Due to this I&#39;m not able to differentiate between the status bar and the navigation bar. 

How do I make the status bar to look the same as it was in iOS 5 and 6, that is with black background color and white text color? How can I do this programmatically?

Use Hex color in SwiftUI

I am defining a color in code as

    [UIColor colorWithHue:32.0/360.0 saturation:0.88 brightness:0.97 alpha:1]

If I try to set the same color in storyboard, when running the App it is a slightly different colour to the one defined in code. If I drag the color to the palate then select a different color and select the palate one again, the HSB values are slightly different. It seems it is snapping to a different (RGB?) color in interface builder.

How to initialize UIColor from RGB values properly?

I am using RGB values of a color from Photoshop and using the same in Xcode the values are.Color-R-160,G-97,B-5...the color in Photoshop appears yellowish but in Xcode when I used

    myLabel.textColor = [UIColor colorWithRed:160 green:97 blue:5 alpha:1] ;

the color appears whitish.

Why this difference is happening?

I want not to change the backgroundColor of an UIImage,&lt;br/&gt;
but rather to change the color of the whole image.

Because I have got standard forms which I can move from popover to the view.&lt;br/&gt;
In my App it is possible to tinker the images to one big image, i.e a table.&lt;br/&gt;
Moreover I want change the color to white brown or what else.&lt;br/&gt;

But the problem is: I can only change the backgroundColor&lt;br/&gt;
Is there any way to change the color of the UIImage?
