When I try to run my application with in-app billing I am getting the error: &quot;This version of the application is not configured for billing through Google Play. Check the help center for more information&quot;.

I have the billing permission already in the Manifest file and I have a signed .apk uploaded as a draft onto Google Play and I have also installed that same signed apk onto my phone.

Any help on how to solve this issue?

I&#39;m currently testing my InApp billing mechanism (using the InApp Billing version 3 API, therefore taking the TrivialDrive example as reference).

I have one managed item, which is upgrade to premium version.

Now, purchasing the item with my test account works, but when I do a cancellation of the entire order in Google checkout afterwards, my code still tells me that the item is purchased an therefore grants the premium features.

Here is how I check for the purchase in my MainActivity. I do not save the purchase state locally somewhere, as I understood that the with the billing API v3, you can query for purchases ad hoc as needed.

I keep getting getPurchaseState = 0, which means is Purchased, even one hour after I cancelled the order. Why?

It looks like Android won&#39;t natively support in-app purchases for a while, and when it does there might be a huge user base with devices that don&#39;t support them.

What&#39;s the best way to implement iPhone-like (additional content or services) in-app purchases in Android using the Android Market if possible? 

The solution should consider in particular: 

* For all kinds of in-app purchases: Android Market&#39;s 24-hour cancellation policy
* For consumables/non-consumables: storage of additional content (ie: use precious application memory to avoid piracy, or use SD card to avoid bloating application memory)

**edit 4/15:** Catching nullpointer in IabHelper appears to have stopped this problem.  I am no longer seeing the exceptions being thrown, I&#39;m going to accept this as an answer.

**edit 4/04:** A little bit of a deeper dive.  There are try catch blocks that handle RemoteExceptions and JSONExceptions for the queryPurchases method, but no NullPointerException handling.  What I am going to try is include NullPointer Exception handling so IabHelper looks like this when trying to querySkuDetails:

In one of my apps, I am using the billing API and the boilerplate code included with it.

I am using the latest version of billing API available via the SDK manager as of 3/16/2013.

In my activity, I query the inventory using the following:

Billing API v3 IabHelper NullPointerException

I have a simple app (needs user login with account). I provide some premium features for paid users, like more news content.

I need to record if the user has bought this item in my server database. When I provide data content to user&#39;s device, I can then check the user&#39;s status, and provide different content for paid user.

I checked the official Trivialdrive sample provided by Google, it does not provide any sample code for server-side verification, here are my questions.

 1. I found the sample use my app&#39;s public key inside to verify purchase, it looks not good, I think I can just move the verification process to my server combined with user login credentials to see whether the user purchase completed, and then update the database.
 2. Also there is [purchase API][1] I can use to query, what I need is to pass the user&#39;s purchaseToken into server.

I am not sure what method I should take to verify the user&#39;s purchase, and mark the user&#39;s status in my database, maybe both?

And I am afraid there is a situation, if a user bought this item from google play, but for some reason, just in that time, when my app launched verification to my server, **the network connection is down or my own server is down**, user just paid the money in google play but I did not record the purchase in my server? What should I do, How can I deal with this situation.

How to verify purchase for android app in server side (google play in app billing v3)

I am currently testing In-App Billing for a future app, and after I successfully &quot;bought&quot; the test item &quot;android.test.purchased&quot; the first time, I now receive the response code 7 every time I try to buy it again, which means that I already own this item.

I&#39;m trying to integrate Android Market in-app purchases into my app, but unfortunately coming across an annoying error every time I try to purchase a real inapp product.

I&#39;ve taken the sample application (Dungeons) and added it to my app. I&#39;ve updated the Public Key and also updated the list of products to the following:

When I run the application on my phone I get a the item you&#39;ve requested not available for purchase android message whenever I try to buy full, but if I try for example, android.test.purchased, it works absolutely fine.

The documentation for the item you&#39;ve requested not available for purchase android states the following:

Indicates that Android Market cannot find the requested item in the application&#39;s product list. This can happen if the product ID is misspelled in your REQUEST_PURCHASE request or if an item is unpublished in the application&#39;s product list.

The product ID is definetely the same, it&#39;s definetely published and the request must be going through ok as it&#39;s the sample application .

i am using same version of apk and i published inapp products also and activated apk also.
but still i am facing same problem please help me ho to fix it.

I&#39;ve been trying to set up in-app billing for my first app, and have been using the android.test.purchased sku. The purchase come through, and I manage to get the SKU into my inventory, but, as the title says, onIabPurchaseFinished, is never called.

I think it may have something to do with this Log: &quot;Couldn&#39;t save which view has focus because the focused view com.android.internal.policy.impl.PhoneWindow$DecorView@406743d0 has no id&quot;. That pops up, right before going of to Google Play. I&#39;m not really sure what that means though...

I have an app with In-App Billing in its Adapter (list of items to buy).  I am having a problem during testing of the in-App Billing. 

Everything works fine - The user is able to go through the whole purchase process.  &quot;Successful Purchase&quot; is shown at the end of the Purchase Flow and there is an email being sent to the user confirming their purchase.

Successful purchase but has &quot;Class not found&quot; when unmarshalling: com.google.android.finsky.billing.lightpurchase.PurchaseParams

It seems that it is quite complicated to implement In-App Billing in an Android app. How could I do this? The sample app from the SDK only has one Activity, which kind of over-simplifies it for an application like mine that has multiple Activities.

How to implement In-App Billing in an Android application?

I have tried for several days to solve this problem, using the Dungeons demo code that comes with the SDK. I&#39;ve tried to Google for an answer but can&#39;t find one.

   - In the Dungeons demo, I passed my public key from the dev console.
   - Signed the apk and uploaded to console without publish.
   - Testing for both `android.test.purchased` &amp; product list created on  console with published for subscription (The main feature I want for my app).

But still I get an error of `Signature verification failed` and then the signature does not match data. How can I solve this?

Android in app purchase: Signature verification failed

I am facing a problem with *in app purchases/subscriptions*:

If there are multiple accounts on the device, I can&#39;t get the purchases, which were made with the second account.
This can sometimes be temporarily fixed, by installing the app from the Google Play web interface, but after a while, the purchases won&#39;t appear in the query, forcing the user to reinstall.

I am using the IabHelper classes from [this sample](http://developer.android.com/training/in-app-billing/preparing-iab-app.html).

Doing some Google searches, I found that this bug exists since a while, but unfortunately I couldn&#39;t find out if the error is in the IabHelper classes or on Google&#39;s side. 

I&#39;d like to draw attention to Google, so they provide a proper fix for this, either in the IabHelper classes or in the Play Services or to provide information, how this should be handled.

I am using the code in an app with (at the time of writing) 900.000 active user installs and I have to trigger quite a lot of refunds, due to this.

If there is a fix for this, which I missed, please let me know.

Sometimes it&#39;s not possible at all to retrieve the purchases, even if there is only one account on the phone.

Well I am not sure I understand this security measure. I know how to get the application public key (which is already base 64 encoded) from Google Play Developer Console.

As far as I know, this public key is a constant string, which is given from Google during application upload process. 

How can we create the same key programmatically using any bit manipulation process? Has someone done it before? Is there any sample code on how to do this?





Android In App Billing: securing application public key

I have an app published to the alpha channel, with an in-app (un)managed item that costs $1.

When I purchase normally, i.e, use a credit/debit card Google returns the correct developer payload string, but if I choose to &quot;redeem&quot; a promo code and enter said code, Google returns an empty developer payload string, and thus authentication fails in &#39;onIabPurchaseFinished()&#39;.

I should mention that this only occurs if I choose to redeem a code from the app&#39;s purchase flow, and everything works flawlessly if I open Play Store first, redeem the code, and then come back and open the app.

Is this a bug on  Google&#39;s part?

EDIT: The Play Store thing is expected, since it can&#39;t know your payload and the purchase is done without having to check for it.

My in-app billing code was working fine until I upgraded to the Android L Dev Preview. Now I get this error when my app starts. Does anyone know what&#39;s changed about L that causes this or how I should change my code to fix this?
