As you can see, the response JSON doesn&#39;t contains video durations. Is there way to get video durations?

Preferably not calling an API for each element in the result again (unless that&#39;s the only way to get durations).

I have a private class variable `char name[10]` to which I would like to add the `.txt` extension so that I can open the file present in the directory.

Recently I created class `Square`:

but then I receive lots of errors. If I remove the cpp file and change the header file to:

it complies with no errors. Does it mean that initialization list must appear in the header file?

Why does [`string::compare`][1] return an `int` instead of a smaller type like `short` or `char`? My understanding is that this method only returns -1, 0 or 1. 

Second part, if I was to design a compare method that compares two objects of type `Foo` and I only wanted to return -1, 0 or 1, would using `short` or `char` generally be a good idea?

EDIT: I&#39;ve been corrected, `string::compare` does not return -1, 0, or 1, it in fact returns a value &gt;0, &lt;0 or 0. Thanks for keeping me in line guys.

It seems like the answer is roughly, there is no reason to return a type smaller than `int` because return values are &quot;rvalues&quot; and those &quot;rvalues&quot; don&#39;t benefit from being smaller than type int (4 bytes). Also, many people pointed out that the registers of most systems are probably going to be of size `int` anyway, since these registers are going to be filled whether you give them a 1, 2 or 4 byte value, there is no real advantage to returning a smaller value.

EDIT 2: In fact it looks like there may be extra processing overhead when using smaller datatypes such as alignment, masking, etc. The general consensus is that the smaller datatypes exist to conserve on memory when working with a lot of data, as in the case of an array.

Why does string::compare return an int?

I&#39;d like to build a `std::string` from a `std::vector&lt;std::string&gt;`.

I could use `std::stringsteam`, but imagine there is a shorter way:

Is it normal for Intelli J to take a lot of time (almost 12 hours) to update indices for a project? I just installed Intelli J on my machine and imported a rather large Maven project (13k+ files). 

I understand that the project is large but I let my computer up all night and when I woke up in the morning, Intelli J still  hasn&#39;t finished updating the indices for the files yet, which makes it impossible to do anything since the popup with title &#39;Updating Index&#39; keep hanging there in the middle of the screen.

Today I checked mega.co.nz and I&#39;m excited about some features. For example in download page it will download files on browser and after that decrypt them with javascript.

in this link it will start the download inside the browser. i checked network tab in inspect element it will download parts of file with AJAX after that completed all parts of file, will save all of them in one file on computer automatically!

i want to know what they do? can you explain or link to some resource about download files inside browser like that?

I am downloading a file using the `wget` command. But when it downloads to my local machine, I want it to be saved as a different filename.

For example: I am downloading a file from `www.examplesite.com/textfile.txt`

I want to use `wget` to save the file `textfile.txt` on my local directory as `newfile.txt`. I am using the `wget` command as follows:

[Requests][1] is a really nice library. I&#39;d like to use it for downloading big files (&gt;1GB).
The problem is it&#39;s not possible to keep whole file in memory; I need to read it in chunks. And this is a problem with the following code:

        local_filename = url.split(&#39;/&#39;)[-1]
        r = requests.get(url)
        f = open(local_filename, &#39;wb&#39;)
        for chunk in r.iter_content(chunk_size=512 * 1024):

        f.close()
        return 

For some reason it doesn&#39;t work this way: it still loads the response into memory before it is saved to a file.

If you need a small client (Python 2.x /3.x) which can download big files from FTP, you can find it [here][2]. It supports multithreading &amp; reconnects (it does monitor connections) also it tunes socket params for the download task.

Download large file in python with requests

I was trying to download a file from a bucket on Amazon S3. I was wondering if I can write a javascript to download such a file from a bucket. I was googling it, but couldn&#39;t find any resources that can help me do that.

Some steps in mind are: authenticate Amazon S3, then by providing bucket name, and file(key), download or read the file so that I can be able to display the data in the file.
