I would like to know the best practices to invalidate JWT without hitting db while changing password/logout. 

I have the idea below to handle above 2 cases by hitting the user database. 

1.Incase of password changes, I check for password(hashed) stored in the user db.

2.Incase of logout, I save last-logout time in user db, hence by comparing the token created time and logout time, I can able to invalidate this case.

But these 2 cases comes at the cost of hitting user db everytime when the user hits the api. Any best practise is appreciated.


**UPDATE:**
 I dont think we can able to invalidate JWT without hitting db. So I came up with a solution. I have posted my answer, if you have any concern, you are welcome.

I ran a logistic regression model and made predictions of the logit values. I used this to get the points on the ROC curve:

     from sklearn import metrics
     fpr, tpr, thresholds = metrics.roc_curve(Y_test,p)
     
I know `metrics.roc_auc_score` gives the area under the ROC curve. Can anyone tell me what command will find the optimal cut-off point (threshold value)?

I was just thinking about the possibility to use GitHub Pages to host a small website, but keep the source repository private. This way the only way the content would be exposed would be through the public GitHub Pages URL.

FYI, I would just try it and see, but I don&#39;t want to convert to a paid GitHub account at this point until I know if this is possible.

I accidentally did a `git pull origin master` from dev, and master got merged into dev.
Is it possible to unmerge?

I&#39;ve already seen different solutions, i tried this one from both dev and master :
 `git revert -m 1 &lt;commit&gt;` (once each)
But i got : Everything is up-to-date, each time

I&#39;ve noticed that some organizations on GitHub have different labels that they can apply to issues.

For example, one organization that I am a part of allows any of these labels to be applied:

However, on my personal account, I am limited to only these labels, and I can&#39;t find a way to create my own custom ones:

How to create custom labels for issues on GitHub?

I have a project hosted on GitHub. I fail when trying to push my modifications on the master. I always get the following error message

    Password for &#39;https://git@github.com&#39;: 
    remote: Invalid username or password.
    fatal: Authentication failed for &#39;https://git@github.com/eurydyce/MDANSE.git/&#39;

However, setting my ssh key to github seems ok. Indeed, when I do a `ssh -T git@github.com` I get

    Hi eurydyce! You&#39;ve successfully authenticated, but GitHub does not provide shell access.

Which seems to indicate that everything is OK from that side (eurydyce being my github username). I strictly followed the instructions given on github and the recommendations of many stack discussion but no way. Would you have any idea of what I may have done wrong?

I am trying to set a `favicon.ico` for my github page, but it doesn&#39;t work. When I serve it locally I see the standard &quot;empty&quot; favicon and when I push it I see the facebook icon. Why is it so? I have the right `favicon.ico` in the root directory of my project and I added the line

I have created an organization on GitHub. My organization has some repos. These repos have API documentation that I would like to re-build and publish to `gh-pages` branch via Travis-CI.  In order to give Travis-CI access to my organization&#39;s repos I need to generate an OAuth token, encrypt it, and then add then include the encypted token in the `.travis.yml` file as follows...

How do I generate the GitHub OAuth token for organization accounts?

I created a GitHub pages repository. For some reason when I name it
`https://[username].github.io`, it doesn&#39;t work, but it works when I name it `https://[username].github.io/index.html`.

Why?

So I am trying to get a **custom domain to work with my github pages** user site. I have followed pretty much the standard procedure for doing this as follows: (recommended by github here too: **https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-an-apex-domain-and-www-subdomain/**). Note I need both the apex domain (example.com) and the www subdomain (www.example.com) to resolve to my github pages user site at username.github.io (the website itself is a **jekyll based blog** and I have checked that it compiles successfully before I started this process)

1. I added an **A record** to my DNS records at the registrar pointing to all of the four IP addresses provided by Github from the apex domain example.com: 
- 185.199.108.153
- 185.199.109.153
- 185.199.110.153
- 185.199.111.153 
2. Next I went in and added a **CNAME record for the www** sub domain pointing to username.github.io
3. And then I finally enabled the custom domain example.com under the settings tab of the repository (under Github Pages &gt; Custom Domain), and also enabled the **Enforce HTTPS** option after it was enabled within about an hour.

I have tried contacting my registrar and they said that everything in the DNS record seem fine and they get the following results: 

A records : 

 example.com.            21460  IN      A      185.199.111.153

 example.com.            21460  IN      A      185.199.109.153

 example.com.            21460  IN      A      185.199.110.153

 example.com.            21460  IN      A      185.199.108.153

CNAME : 

www.example.com.        7199    IN      CNAME  username.github.io.

As expected.

But I still get the following error in github (under the settings tab of the repository): 

&quot;**Domain does not resolve to the GitHub Pages server. For more information, see https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-a-custom-domain-with-github-pages/.**&quot;

And when I try to access the site by typing either example.com or www.example.com, the browser redirects to https://example.com/ and I get the error (on Chrome):

**ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED**
  
Note that there is a warning on the documentation by github saying:

**Warning: If your domain has HTTPS enforcement enabled, GitHub Pages&#39; servers will not automatically route redirects. You must configure www subdomain and root domain redirects with your domain registrar.**

I have no idea how to get around this. I suspect this is the possible cause of the issue. So a solution might be to circumvent this redirection, I just do not know how I would do this.
