You can find the configuration files in :
&gt;&amp;lt;workspace&amp;gt;/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.debug.core/.launches 

There should be a `*.launch` file for every configuration you have in this workspace stored there.


I&#39;m not certain where Eclipse stores the &#39;local&#39; run configurations (likely somewhere under the workspace .metadata directory), but under the &#39;common&#39; tab of the Run Configurations dialog, there&#39;s an option to save it as a &#39;Shared file&#39; within a project, in which case it will show up in your project directory.

I found it in Debug config. Once I run module, in the debug window I can right click an go to Properties or some similar option and then there is a full path with all arguments.

I&#39;m using an array variable in PowerShell 2.0.  If it does not have a value, it will be $null, which I can test for successfully:

    PS C:\&gt; [array]$foo = $null
    PS C:\&gt; $foo -eq $null
    True

But when I give it a value, the test for $null does not return anything:

    PS C:\&gt; [array]$foo = @(&quot;bar&quot;)
    PS C:\&gt; $foo -eq $null
    PS C:\&gt;

How can &quot;-eq $null&quot; give no results?  It&#39;s either $null or it&#39;s not.

How can I reference a file for variables using Bash?

I have been working on a few Node apps, and I&#39;ve been looking for a good pattern of storing deployment-related settings. In the Django world (where I come from), the common practise would be to have a `settings.py` file containing the standard settings (timezone, etc), and then a `local_settings.py` for deployment specific settings, ie. what database to talk to, what memcache socket, e-mail address for the admins and so on.

I have been looking for similar patterns for Node. Just a config file would be nice, so it does not have to be jammed in with everything else in `app.js`, but I find it important to have a way to have server-specific configuration in a file that is not in source control. The same app could well be deployed across different servers with wildly different settings, and having to deal with merge conflicts and all that is not my idea of fun.

So is there some kind of framework/tool for this, or does everyone just hack something together themselves?

Python&#39;s standard library has modules for **configuration file parsing** ([configparser][1]), **environment variable reading** ([os.environ][2]), and **command-line argument parsing** ([argparse][3]). I want to write a program that does all those, and also:

* Has a **cascade of option values**:
  * default option values, overridden by
  * config file options, overridden by
  * environment variables, overridden by
  * command-line options.

* Allows one or more **configuration file locations specified on the command line** with e.g. `--config-file foo.conf`, and reads that (either instead of, or additional to, the usual configuration file). This must still obey the above cascade.

* Allows **option definitions in a single place** to determine the parsing behaviour for configuration files and the command line.

* Unifies the parsed options into a **single collection of option values** for the rest of the program to access without caring where they came from.

Everything I need is apparently in the Python standard library, but they don&#39;t work together smoothly.

How can I achieve this with minimum deviation from the Python standard library?

Parse config files, environment, and command-line arguments, to get a single collection of options

We recently had an issue with an Eclipse project for one of our team members. Tomcat was not deploying JARs of the application. 

We eventually noticed the `.classpath` Eclipse file was not the same as for the team members where the project was OK. We replaced the `.classpath` file with one from a project that was OK and the Tomcat deploy was complete.

Just out of curiosity and to know at what to look in the future if something is wrong, **what is  inside the `.classpath` and `.project` files. What can I add in there, what does it all mean?**
