In the if() section I want to disable `selectedSegmentIndex==0` and enable when `button.hidden=YES`




How to disable part of UISegmentedControl?

Is it possible to change the corner radius of UISegmentedControl? I have tried the following approach which we use to change a UIView&#39;s corner radius.
 

    self.segmentedControl.layer.cornerRadius = 15.0;
    self.segmentedControl.layer.masksToBounds = YES;

This did not work as you can see it only cuts off the UISegmentedControl&#39;s corner:

I have a UISegmentedControl, and need to deselect currently selected tab.
I tried: 

    [menu setSelectedSegmentIndex:-1];
menu being the UBOutlet for uisegmentedcontrol but this gives me exception.
anyone have some idea?

A `UISegmentedControl` has a new appearance in iOS 13 and existing code to alter the colors of the segmented control no longer work as they did.

Prior to iOS 13 you could set the `tintColor` and that would be used for the border around the segmented control, the lines between the segments, and the background color of the selected segment. Then you could change the color of the titles of each segment using the foreground color attribute with `titleTextAttributes`.

Under iOS 13, the `tintColor` does nothing. You can set the segmented control&#39;s `backgroundColor` to change the overall color of the segmented control. But I can&#39;t find any way to alter the color used as the background of the selected segment. Setting the text attributes still works. I even tried setting the background color of the title but that only affects the background of the title, not the rest of the selected segment&#39;s background color.

In short, how do you modify the background color of the currently selected segment of a `UISegmentedControl` in iOS 13? Is there a proper solution, using public APIs, that doesn&#39;t require digging into the private subview structure?

There are no new properties in iOS 13 for `UISegmentedControl` or `UIControl` and none of the changes in `UIView` are relevant.

How do I make a `UISegmentedControl` as a part of an `UINavigationBar` below it? Is it connected to the `UINavigationBar` or is it a complete separate view just added as a subview to the `UINavigationController`&#39;s view controller. Looks like it is part of the `UINavigationBar` since there is a shadow below the bar.

Is there any way to customize color of selected segment in `UISegmentedControl`?

I&#39;ve found `segmentedController.tintColor` property, which lets me customize color of the whole segmented control. 
The problem is, when I select bright color for `tintColor` property, selected segment becomes almost unrecognizable (its color is almost the same as the rest of segmented control, so its hard to distinguish selected and unselected segments). So I cannot use any good bright colors for segmented control. 
The solution would be some separate property for selected segment color but I cannot find it. Did anyone solve this?

iOS: change the height of UISegmentedcontrol

I have a segmented control where the user can select how to order a list. Works fine.

However, I would like that when an already selected segment is tapped, the order gets inverted. I have all the code in place, but I don&#39;t know how to register the taps on those segments. It seems the only control event you can use is UIControlEventValueChanged, but that isn&#39;t working (since the selected segment isn&#39;t actually changing).

Is there a solution for this? And if so, what is it?

UISegmentedControl register taps on selected segment

I noticed that when I place a white or black `UIImage` into a `UISegmentedControl` it automatically color masks it to match the tint of the segmented control. I thought this was really cool, and was wondering if I could do this elsewhere as well. For example, I have a bunch of buttons that have a uniform shape but varied colors. Instead of making a PNG for each button, could I somehow use this color masking to use the same image for all of them but then set a tint color or something to change their actual color?

I checked the code many times, but it&#39;s not working. First I had to use only `Table View`, watching this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABVLSF3Vqdg) I thought it will work to use `Segmented Control` as in tutorial. But still doesn&#39;t work. Same code, same error.
Can someone help me ?
