I&#39;m making an application that updates a user&#39;s location and path in real time and displays this on a Google Map. I have functionality that allows multiple users to be tracked at the same time using an object, which is updated every second. 

Right now, when a user pressed a button in the Android app, the coordinates are sent to a database and each time the location changes, a marker is updated on the map (and a polyline is formed). 

Since I have multiple users, I send a unique and randomly generated alphanumeric string so that I can display an individual path for each user. When the JS pulls this data from the database, it checks if the user exists, if it does not, it creates a new key with the value being a list. It would look something like this:

What I&#39;m doing is storing a list of coordinates as the value of the key, which is the user&#39;s ID. My program keeps updating this list each time the location is changed by adding to the list (this works properly). 

What I need to do is update the marker&#39;s location each time the location changes. I would like to do this by selecting the last item in the array since that would be the last known location. Right now, each time the location is changed a new marker is added to the map (each one of the points in the example would show a marker at that location) so markers continue to be added. 

I would use a &#180;for (x in loc)` statement each time the location updates to grab the last location from the list and use that to update the marker. How do I select this last element from the array within the hash?

What I’m looking for is a way to avoid having to “manually” find the center of the map with `center: new google.maps.LatLng(41.923, 12.513)`. Is there a way to automatically have the map centered on the three coordinates?

Auto-center map with multiple markers in Google Maps API v3

I am developing an Android Application where I&#39;m using Google Map API v2. I need to show the user location on a map with custom markers.

Each marker will show the picture of the user from an URL. The image must be downloaded in asynchronous mode from the server. See the attached screenshot for an example.

How to create a custom-shaped bitmap marker with Android map API v2

When I load an image into the icon property of a marker it displays with its original size, which is a lot bigger than it should be.

I want to resize to the standard to a smaller size. What is the best way to do this?

I have other stuff being displayed on the page that depends on the markers so when a marker is click the content on the page has to change depending upon which marker was clicked.I would like store and retrieve the custom data  once a marker is lets say clicked etc.

I am trying to add multiple markers each with its own infowindow that comes up when clicked on. I am having trouble with getting the infowindows coming up, when I try it either shows up only one marker without an infowindow.

this doesnot work when dealing with vector assets. The main reason to ask the question. The error with the above code:

&gt; java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Failed to decode image. The provided image must be a Bitmap.

I&#39;m using fitBounds() to set the zoom level on my map too include all the markers currently displayed. However, when I have only one marker visible, the zoom level is 100% (... which zoom level 20 I think...). However, I don&#39;t want it to be that far zoomed in so the user can adjust the position of the marker without having to zoom out. 

I have the following code:

However, the problem I am having is that the line `this.map.map.setZoom(16);` doesn&#39;t work if I use `this.map.map.fitBounds(this.map.bounds);`, however, I know that line of code is correct because when I comment out the fitBound() line, the setZoom() magically starts functioning.

Any ideas how I resolve this? I&#39;m thinking of setting a maxZoom level as an alternative if I can&#39;t get this working.

I&#39;m using Google Map API V3 and I noticed there are a lot of markers which are here even though I don&#39;t need them. For examples, some schools or other places with InfoWindows appearing when clicking on them.

Is there any way I can remove them or is it just not possible?

I am working with a demo from the google library that includes a fusion table layer.

You have to click to reveal an info window. I wish to rollover to reveal the info window.
