I found a solution to this.  It&#39;s bloody witchcraft, but it works.

When you install the client, open **Control Panel &gt; Network Connections**.

You&#39;ll see a disabled network connection that was added by the TAP installer (Local Area Connection 3 or some such).

Right Click it, click **Enable**.

The device will not reset itself to enabled, but that&#39;s ok; try connecting w/ the client again.  It&#39;ll work.


It seems to me you are using the wrong version...

TAP-Win32 should not be installed on the 64bit version.  Download the right one and try again!

The code above is for my servlet. Its purpose is to get a stream, make a a Json file from it, and then send the Json to the client back.
But in order to make Json, I have to read `BufferedReader` object `rd` using a &quot;while&quot; loop. However I&#39;d like to convert `rd` to string in as few lines of code as possible. How do I do that?

It looks like the failure is due to a missing Python installation.  Well, I have installed Python, set the variable, and rebooted and still the error.

Any clue as to what I am missing?

Running Python on Windows for Node.js dependencies

I&#39;m writing a Python script that needs to write some data to a temporary file, then create a subprocess running a C++ program that will read the temporary file.  I&#39;m trying to use [`NamedTemporaryFile`](http://docs.python.org/2/library/tempfile.html#tempfile.NamedTemporaryFile) for this, but according to the docs,

&gt; Whether the name can be used to open the file a second time, while the named temporary file is still open, varies across platforms (it can be so used on Unix; it cannot on Windows NT or later).

And indeed, on Windows if I flush the temporary file after writing, but don&#39;t close it until I want it to go away, the subprocess isn&#39;t able to open it for reading.

I&#39;m working around this by creating the file with `delete=False`, closing it before spawning the subprocess, and then manually deleting it once I&#39;m done:

    try:
        fileTemp.write(someStuff)
        fileTemp.close()
        # ...run the subprocess and wait for it to complete...

Command to list all files in a folder as well as sub-folders in windows

I have discovered a running process with PID 26376 listening on port 9001 and 9002 as when I try to run my program(as a service) which binds to that port it fails.

But when I try to kill it using taskkill /PID it says that the process 26376 is not found. Similarly when I try to find the process in task manager with &quot;Show processes from all users&quot; selected, I couldn&#39;t find it anywhere.

Can anyone explain this? Is it a defunct zombie process? I suspect that the process listening on that port is a previous instance of my program running but what could have caused this?

EDIT:
Sysinternals TCPView shows the process as non-existent.
Sysinternals Process Explorer does not show the process.
Tasklist does not show the process.

This question can be broken down into two parts: 

  1. What is the overall purpose of flow and congestion control?
  2. How is the task accomplished?

According to [Wikipedia][1], TCP flow control relies on the window size reported in an ACK message. Congestion control also relies on acknowledgement messages. I would like to know what the difference is between the two goals, and how they work.

So, what we have here is two sources (each bound to helper conduits which) which produce a `Packet` object which `encoder` will accept and turn into `ByteString`, then send out the socket. I&#39;ve had a great amount of difficulty with the efficient (performance is a concern) fusing of the two inputs.

Two-part question from an iOS developer learning Android, working on an Android project that will make a variety of requests from JSON to image to streaming download of audio and video:

1. On iOS I have used the [AFNetworking][1] project extensively. Is there an equivalent library for Android?

2. I&#39;ve read up on [OkHTTP][2] and [Retrofit][3] by Square, as well as [Volley][4] but dont yet have experience developing with them. I&#39;m hoping someone can provide some concrete examples of best use cases for each. From what I&#39;ve read, seems like OkHTTP is the most robust of the three, and could handle the requirements of this project (mentioned above).

How does a web server handle multiple incoming requests at the same time on a single port(80)?

Example :
At the same time 300k users want to see an image from www.abcdef.com which is assigned IP 10.10.100.100 and port 80. So how can www.abcdef.com handle this incoming users&#39; load?

Can one server (which is assigned with IP 10.10.100.100) handle this vast amount of incoming users? If not, then how can one IP address be assigned to more than one server to handle this load?

I am trying to remove all the elements from my `RecyclerView` in my `onRestart` method so the items don&#39;t get loaded twice:

But for some reason the `delete` method I created in the `adapter` is not functioning properly:

I think every other item in my list gets deleted instead of the entire list.

With a `listview` it was so easy and I simply called `adapter.clear()`.

Using the NetworkExtension framework from Apple there&#39;s an option to create VPN using IPSec and IKEv2 protocols only. They do work but problem is that I need to create a connection via L2TP since that&#39;s only supported by the company&#39;s firewall.

When I send request to google api (using either axios or just https), e.g. `https://www.googleapis.com/blogger/v3/blogs/2399953?key=...`

I always hit the &quot;**Client network socket disconnected before secure TLS connection was established**&quot; error.

But if I send request to https://api.github.com, it works just fine. I have googled the error, but I can&#39;t find much useful information.  Here https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/21088 said if the server uses TLS 1.0, it may happen but apparently it is not my case. 

I also try [googleapis][1] but still hit the same error.

I also tried [tunnel][5] and got `read ECONNRESET error`; I tried [global-tunnel-ng][6] and got the error

I have recently installed privacy vpn, and it turns out that enabled openvpn breaks docker. 

When I try to run ``docker-compose up`` i get following error 

    ERROR: could not find an available, non-overlapping IPv4 address pool among the defaults to assign to the network

Disabling vpn fixes the problem (however I&#39;d rather not disable it). Is there any way to make these two co-exist peacefully? I use debian jessie, and my openvpn has following version string
     
     OpenVPN 2.3.4 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH] [IPv6] built on Jun 26 2017


A lot of people &quot;solved&quot; this problem by disabling the openvpn, so I&#39;m asking specifically on how to make these two work at the same time.
