I have a Nexus 4 with Android 4.3 and I am trying to connect the device to a computer with Windows 7 64bit.

I installed the latest drivers and the latest `adb` version. I think I tried almost everything and I still get the following message:

Menu Items are not showing on Action Bar

I&#39;m trying to mess around with the Maps API V2 to get more familiar with it, and I&#39;m trying to start the map centered at the user&#39;s current location. Using the `map.setMyLocationEnabled(true);` statement, I am able to show my current location on the map. This also adds the button to the UI that centers the map on my current location.

I want to simulate that button press in my code. I am familiar with the `LocationManager` and `LocationListener` classes and realize that using those is a viable alternative, but the functionality to center and zoom in on the user&#39;s location seems to already be built in through the button.

If the API has a method to show the user&#39;s current location, there surely must be an easier way to center on the location than to use the `LocationManager`/`LocationListener` classes, right?



Android Google Maps API V2 Zoom to Current Location

I&#39;ve read some questions about this, but I didn&#39;t quite find an answer that I needed.

So, the case is that I have my map set up, and I want to grab my current gps location.
I have checked that my variables is not NULL but yet my result from:

    getLastKnownLocation(provider, false);

Gives me null though, so this is where I need help.
I have added permissions for COARSE + FINE location. But I usually have all kinds of network data disabled for my phone, because I&#39;m not very happy about unpredictable dataflow expenses in my phone bill. So I have only WiFi enabled and connected for this test.

Is there anything more I NEED to enable in order for this to be possible? I would think WiFi should be sufficient?

getLastKnownLocation returns null

My app that worked fine on iOS&amp;nbsp;7 doesn&#39;t work with the iOS&amp;nbsp;8 SDK.

`CLLocationManager` doesn&#39;t return a location, and I don&#39;t see my app under *Settings* -&gt; *Location Services* either. I did a Google search on the issue, but nothing came up. What could be wrong?

I am installing a website in a droplet (Digital Ocean). I have a issue for install NGINX with PHP properly. Nginx serves .php files as downloads, instead of executing them

I&#39;m currently using the function below and it doesn&#39;t work properly. According to Google Maps, the distance between [these coordinates][2] (from `59.3293371,13.4877472` to `59.3225525,13.4619422`) are `2.2` kilometres while the function returns `1.6` kilometres. How can I make this function return the correct distance?

Function to calculate distance between two coordinates

I have geocoded points in long, lat format, and I want to calculate the distance between them using R.  This seems pretty straight forward, yet I can&#39;t find a function that will do it easily.  I&#39;ve been attempting to do it with the gdistance package, but it seems very convoluted and oriented to graphing, I just need a number.  Something like `distanceBetween(pointA,pointB)` that returns a number.
