 - Hide: No
 - Disable: No

If you create an App ID, be prepared to live with it for the rest of your life; App IDs are the herpes of iPhone provisioning.


The delete button is **reappeared** again on **Apple Developers** 

Now you can delete your App ID again by following these 2 steps:

1. Click your AppID and you will see a view like this:

2. Click **Edit** on the bottom of the view

3. There you see **Delete** button

I have used a `scrollTop` function in jQuery for navigating to top, but strangely &#39;the smooth animated scroll&#39; stopped working in Safari and Chrome (scrolling without smooth animation) after I made some changes. 

But it is still working smoothly in Firefox. What could be wrong?

When writing web apps in Python, it&#39;s brain dead easy to run a development server. Django and Google App Engine (GAE) both ship with simple servers. 

The main feature I&#39;m looking for is no configuration. I want something like the GAE dev server where you just pass the directory of the app as a parameter when the server is started.

Is there a reason that this is more difficult with PHP?

I have an app, and I&#39;d like to redirect the users to different pages based on where they are navigating from.

If navigating from web clip, do not redirect.
If navigating from mobile Safari, redirect to safari.aspx.
If navigating from anywhere else, redirect to unavailable.aspx

How to remove an iOS app from the App Store

I currently have a paid app in the store. Apple have not allowed a &#39;lite&#39; version to be submitted as well, so I have no choice but to update the current paid version to a freemium (with in app purchase) model.  I have the problem of not loosing functionality for v1 users that have purchased the app the first time round.

In the Apple Developer Portal, in Certificates, Developer (or Distribution) it says:

I don&#39;t even know what that means. Do I need to download and run that?

I need to add a device to my team provisioning profile, however I do not physically have the device so I can&#39;t hook it up to my computer so Xcode can&#39;t add the UDID to my devices and to the team provisioning profile.  Is there a way to add it manually to the team provisioning profile, I can&#39;t figure out how to edit it.  Also when I add the device in my provisioning portal it doesn&#39;t get added to my team provisioning profile automatically.

I am getting this error while I am trying to debug my app on device.

I created development provisioning profile as it is mentioned at the developer portal. My development device is selected in the profile and I am selecting the correct profile from Target&#39;s code signing identity menu. I recreated provisioning profile for several times and also removed and reinstalled it and recreated the project but I am getting that whenever I try to debug on device.

Btw, the adhoc distribution provision profile works.

I spent my whole day to find out a solution but nothing. Anyone have a solution?

I recently reinstalled OSX. It has been a pain rounding up all of my certificates, etc, but I finally am back. However, when trying to install an app on either of two iPhones 3G&#39;s I have, they both say:

Software version: 4.2.1 (8C148) | XCode cannot find the software image to install this version. | Could not support development.

What is going on? Both iPhones list themselves as up to date in iTunes, and iOS developer&#39;s center only lists 4.2 as the available SDK.

EDIT: I do have a paid membership, and I have recently had test apps installed on both of these devices.

UPDATE: I removed all 3 ( the 2 included ) of my devices from the provisioning portal, and deleted them from the organizer, closed XCode, detached device, restarted, plugged in device, no luck.

iPhone Could Not Support Development

I couldn&#39;t find anything on this (maybe I&#39;m just using the wrong search terms..):  
We&#39;re trying to build a sensible continuous integration setting for our apps. To have a REALLY sensible implementation, the build server should be able to automatically refresh the used provisioning profiles from apple. Similar to what the X-Code organizer does, but automagically via command line.   
Any clue if that&#39;s possible at all?
