I need to do an IBAN validation check using JavaScript. The rules I need to follow are:

**Validating the IBAN**
An IBAN is validated by converting it into an integer and performing a basic mod-97 operation (as described in ISO 7064) on it. If the IBAN is valid, the remainder equals 1.

1. Check that the total IBAN length is correct as per the country. If not, the IBAN is invalid

2. Move the four initial characters to the end of the string

3. Replace each letter in the string with two digits, thereby expanding the string, where A = 10, B = 11, ..., Z = 35

4. Interpret the string as a decimal integer and compute the remainder of that number on division by 97

I am doing this for a Belarusian IBAN so it has to follow the following format

I&#39;m using [jnca][2] library to collect NetFlow records sent by a router. The version of the NetFlow record sent by the router is version 9. 

When the NetFlow packet is observed from the Wireshark the flow sets with the template id 263 contains the data about initiator octets and responder octets which can be used to determine the number of bytes associated with a flow.

But the problem is these values cannot be obtained by the jcna. It shows always zero for the octets.

This is the code segment which is used to get the dOctets. This returns zero even for the template ID 263. 

But when it&#39;s calculated with respect to the NetFlow template id 263 it gives the correct data. (gives the initiator octets and to get responder octet 46 should be replaced with 50 as the length of the particular record is 4 bytes)

    dOctets = Util.to_number(buf, off + 46, 4)

46 is where the Initiator Octets record lies in that particular NetFlow packet.(got using the Wireshark record.)

Is it a problem with jnca? Hopefully, somebody who&#39;s familiar with jcna can give me some help on this.

Netflow record can&#39;t get octets (jnca)

I have the followed imports:

    import org.slf4j.Logger;
    import org.slf4j.LoggerFactory;

and the following instantiation:

and the following in my Main method:

However, I&#39;m not able to find the output anywhere. All I see is that in my console there is:

How do I locate the log file?

Note that the following are on my  build path:

I read the answer to similar questions but nobody actually says how to fix the problem.

I have a Java project in IntelliJ to which I just added a bunch of files in a nested folder hierarchy. Many of these files are tests and include the main method, so I should be able to run them. However I cannot figure out how to do this.

I&#39;m new to IntelliJ and previously files have shown up in the project hierarchy with the [symbol][1] that corresponds to &quot;Java class that contains declaration of the main() method.&quot; but in this scenario they show up with the symbol corresponding to &quot;Java class located out of the source root.&quot;

So how do I compile and run these files?

I was experimenting with the new Lambdas in Java 8, and I am looking for a way to use reflection on the lambda classes to get the return type of a lambda function. I am especially interested in cases where the lambda implements a generic superinterface. In the code example below, `MapFunction&lt;F, T&gt;` is the generic superinterface, and I am looking for a way to find out what type binds to the generic parameter `T`.

While Java throws away a lot of generic type information after the compiler, subclasses (and anonymous subclasses) of generic superclasses and generic superinterfaces did preserve that type information. Via reflection, these types were accessible. In the example below *(case 1)*, reflection tells my that the `MyMapper` implementation of `MapFunction` binds `java.lang.Integer` to the generic type parameter `T`.

Even for subclasses that are themselves generic, there are certain means to find out what binds to a generic parameter, if some others are known. Consider *case 2* in the example below, the `IdentityMapper` where both `F` and `T` bind to the same type. When we know that, we know the type `F` if we know the parameter type `T` (which in my case we do).

The question is now, how can I realize something similar for the Java 8 lambdas? Since they are actually not regular subclasses of the generic superinterface, the above described method does not work.
Specifically, can I figure out that the `parseLambda` binds `java.lang.Integer` to `T`, and the `identityLambda` binds the same to `F` and `T`?

PS: In theory it should possible to decompile the lambda code and then use an embedded compiler (like the JDT) and tap into its type inference. I hope that there is a simpler way to do this ;-)

Reflection type inference on Java 8 Lambdas

I am completely new in RestTemplate and basically in the REST APIs also. I want to retrieve some data in my application via Jira REST API, but getting back 401 Unauthorised. Found and article on [jira rest api documentation][1] but don&#39;t really know how to rewrite this into java as the example uses the command line way with curl. I would appreciate any suggestion or advice how to rewrite:

Im not sure that I clearly understand how to implement the proposed approach to solve my problem with `Map` with `Class` key (Proposed by @Sotirios in the end of his answer). Using Spring RestTemplate in generic method with generic parameter

I have several methods annotated with `@Scheduled(fixedDelay=10000)`.

In the application context, I have this annotation-driven setup:

    &lt;task:annotation-driven /&gt;

The problem is, sometimes some of the method executions get delayed by seconds and even minutes.

I&#39;m assuming that even if a method takes a while to finish executing, the other methods would still execute. So I don&#39;t understand the delay.  

Is there a way to maybe lessen or even remove the delay?

Does spring @Scheduled annotated methods runs on different threads?

I am using IntelliJ IDEA and all plugins for Spring are activated,
but when I load my Maven project I have the following error:

Using Spring&#39;s Java Config, I need to acquire/instantiate a prototype-scoped bean with constructor arguments that are only obtainable at runtime.  Consider the following code example (simplified for brevity):

    @Autowired

This code works perfectly well with Spring XML config, for example:

If Spring Java Config could do this, I would be able to avoid:

* defining a Factory interface
* defining a Factory implementation
* writing tests for the Factory implementation

That&#39;s a ton of work (relatively speaking) for something so trivial that Spring already supports via XML config.

**How to send websocket message from server to specific user only?**

My webapp has spring security setup and uses websocket. I&#39;m encountering tricky problem trying to send message from server to **specific user only**.

My understanding from reading [the manual][1] is from the server we can do

    simpMessagingTemplate.convertAndSend(&quot;/user/{username}/reply&quot;, reply);

And on the client side:

    stompClient.subscribe(&#39;/user/reply&#39;, handler);

But I could never get the subscription callback invoked. I have tried many different path but no luck.

If I send it to **/topic/reply** it works but all other connected users will receive it too.

What is the difference between ResponseEntity&lt;T&gt; and @ResponseBody?

I have spring web application with Spring security configured using java config approach. I want to exclude some URL patterns from authentication(eg: static resources etc..). I have done this earlier with spring security xml config but couldn&#39;t figure out with java config as adding antmatchers doesn&#39;t help.

How to fix Hibernate LazyInitializationException: failed to lazily initialize a collection of roles, could not initialize proxy - no Session

I have the following in a Spring bean:

    @Value(&quot;${myValue}&quot;)
    private String value;

The value is correctly injected. However, the variable needs to be optional, it is passed in as a command line parameter (which is then added to the Spring context using a **SimpleCommandLinePropertySource**), and this argument will not always exist.

I have tried both the following in order to provide a default value:

    @Value(&quot;${myValue:}&quot;)
    @Value(&quot;${myValue:DEFAULT}&quot;)

but in each case, the default argument after the colon is injected even when there is an actual value - this appears override what Spring should inject.

What is the correct way to specify that **@Value** is not required?

I&#39;m using Spring Beans with annotations and I need to choose different implementation at runtime.

    @Service

    }

For example for windows&#39;s platform I need `MyServiceWin extending MyService`, for linux platform I need `MyServiceLnx extending MyService`.

For now I know only one horrible solution:

Spring choose bean implementation at runtime

I am trying to setup DynamoDB locally with Spring Boot. Initially I got the setup working and was able to write/save to DynamoDB via a repository. From that point I added more classes to build my application. Now when I try to start my application, I get the following exception:

 Spring suggests the following:
`&gt; The bean &#39;agentRepository&#39;, defined in null, could not be registered. A bean with that name has already been defined in null and overriding is disabled`.

What does `null` mean here? Is it because something wrong in my application config? Also how is it possible that it is already registered?

Please give me some pointers because I so confused about my next steps.
