Open Atom and press ALT key you are done.

**Temporarily show Menu Bar on ATOM:**

Press `ALT` Key to make the Menu bar appear but it is not permanent.

**Always display the Menu Bar on ATOM:**

To make the change permanent, press `ALT + V` and then select `Toggle Menu Bar` option from the &quot;**View**&quot; drop-down down.

Get cursor on top, where white header with file name, then press Alt.

You needed in top menu selected:
FILE -&gt; Config... -&gt; autoHideMenuBar: true (change it to autoHideMenuBar: false)
Save it.

Open atom editor and then press **Alt** and menu bar will appear. Now click on **View** tab and then click on **Toggle Menu Bar** as seen on [this][1] screenshot.

Same happened to me, I had to go into Packages and re-enable Tabs and Tree-View (both part of core).

This piece of Haskell code runs *much* slower with `-O`, but `-O` should be [non-dangerous](https://downloads.haskell.org/~ghc/latest/docs/html/users_guide/options-optimise.html#optimise-pkgs). Can anyone tell me what happened? If it matters, it is an attempt to solve [this problem](http://tioj.ck.tp.edu.tw/problems/1827), and it uses binary search and persistent segment tree:

I installed Anaconda a while ago but recently decided to uninstall it and just install basic python 2.7.

I removed Anaconda and deleted all the directories and installed python 2.7.

But when I go to install PyGTK for Windows it says it will install it to the `c:/users/.../Anaconda directory` - this doesn&#39;t even exist. I want to install it to the `c:/python-2.7` directory. Why does it think Anaconda is still installed? And how can I change this?

For me is `npm install` extremely slow. I&#39;m using Windows 8.1 with the latest npm version. My connection speed is around 100Mbit/s.

The project I&#39;m trying to install has around 20 packages/dependencies and it takes around 30 Minutes to install all dependencies ...

I am on [git-for-windows][1] Git Bash. I can&#39;t run an executable on the command line:

I just started learning Swift. I have got my code to read from the text file, and the App displays the content of the entire text file. How can I display line by line and call upon that line multiple times?

Some code editors, such as WebStorm, have an option to auto-save when the editor loses focus. I&#39;ve searched for an option like this in the Atom Editor but haven&#39;t found anything yet.

Does the Atom Editor have a setting that allows for auto-save of edited files when it loses focus? If so, where can this be set? If not, how would one go about writing a plug-in that does that?

I have recently started using Atom editor. Its pretty great so far. I am planning to install it on several other machines.

In Atom Editor I installed the following plugins

 1. linter 
 2. linter-eslint

It seems they don&#39;t recognize the JSX syntaxis. 

I have it working on the command line but had to use other plugins like `esprima-fb` and `eslint-plugin-react`. Looks like there are no such plugins for Atom Editor and would like to know if anyone of you knows a way to hack around this.
