For Development certificate the limit is 2 and for Production certificate the limit is 3

My server runs CentOS 6.4 with MySQL 5.1.69 installed using yum with CentOS&#39;s repos, and PHP 5.4.16 installed using yum with ius&#39;s repos. **Edit3** Upgraded to MySQL Server version: 5.5.31 Distributed by The IUS Community Project, and error still exists.  Then changed library to mysqlnd, and seems to eliminate the error. Still, with this back and forth, need to know why this error only sometimes manifests.

When using PDO and creating the PDO object using `PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES=&gt;false`, I sometimes get the following error:

I had a similar problem several years ago, but upgraded from PHP 5.1 to PHP 5.3 (and MySQL probably was updated as well), and the problem magically went away, and now I have it with PHP 5.5.

Why does it only manifest itself when `PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES=&gt;false`, and with only alternating version of PHPs?

I&#39;ve also found that `closeCursor()` will also fix the error.  Should this always be done after every `SELECT` query where `fetchAll()` is not used?  Note that the error still occurs even if the query is something like `SELECT COUNT(col2)` which only returns one value.

**Edit**  By the way, this is how I create my connection.  I&#39;ve only recently added `MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY=&gt;true`, however, it doesn&#39;t cure the error.  **Also, the following script could be used as is to create the error.**

My app is only for `iphone` device (both iphone 4  and 5) and built to support only `ios 6`.

My whole app only supports `portrait` mode. But there is one view called  &quot;`ChatView`&quot; , which i want to support both `landscape` and `portrait` modes. 

I have set the required device rotations as follows -

I have also tried following code to support rotation in &quot;ChatView&quot; -

    -(BOOL)shouldAutorotate

But it could not rotate that view.
 
I have searched a lot for this , but could not be able to find the solution for my issue.

And also in &quot;ChatView&quot; there are some objects like buttons, textfields  whose frames are set programmaticaly. So i want to know should i have to set frames of all those objects for landscape mode also?

How to allow only single UIViewController to rotate in both Landscape and Portrait direction?

I&#39;m working on an iphone app with multiple `textfields` on a `viewcontroller`. I&#39;m a bit confused with `resignfirstresponder` and setting `textfield delegates`.I&#39;ve been able to resign text fields when I set the delegate for one then call `resignfirstresponder` for that particular textfield. 
I have a `view controller` with about 7 text fields and don&#39;t want to call each individually. Does anyone have any example code that will close all of the `textfields` on a `view controller`? Also how do you set the delegate for all textfields?

I have a method which should support being called from any queue, and should expect to.

It runs some code in a background thread itself, and then uses `dispatch_get_main_queue` when it returns a value to its block argument.

I don&#39;t want it to force it onto the main queue if it wasn&#39;t when it entered the method. Is there a way to get a pointer to the current dispatch queue?

I&#39;m trying to get my CAGradientLayers, that i&#39;m using to create nice gradient backgrounds, to resize nicely on rotation and modal view presentation, but they will not play ball.

Here is a video I just created showing my problem: Notice the tearing on rotation.

Also please note this video was created by filming the iPhone Simulator on OS X. I have slowed down the animations in the video to highlight my issue.

Here is an Xcode project which I just created (which is the source for the app shown in the video), basically as illustrated the issue occurs on rotation and especially when views are presented modally:

For what it&#39;s worth I understand that using:

        [[self view] setBackgroundColor:[UIColor blackColor]];

does a reasonable job of making the transitions a bit more seamless and less jarring, but if you look at the video when I, whilst currently in landscape mode, modally present a view, you will see why the above code will not help.

Any ideas what I can do to sort this out?

CAGradientLayer, not resizing nicely, tearing on rotation

I want to change the color of the navigation bar color, but I&#39;m not sure whether or not I should change the tint or the background. I know iOS 7 is going for a more flat design (even [recommending removing gradients][1]), but I am having trouble deciphering the two. Even if I set a background color, it doesn&#39;t do anything.

In this image, the background is set to green, but the bar is still blue:

How to change navigation bar color in iOS 7 or 6?

Is there a way to have a single ContainerView with multiple embed segues? The aim is for a ContainerView to hold a few different ViewControllers depending on what buttons have been pressed; only one is going to be visible at a time. I want to use embed segues so that in Interface Builder the storyboards are automatically shown at the same size as the ContainerView.

I realise that I can manually resize the other ViewControllers in InterfaceBuilder, but I want the automatic sizing provided by the embed segue. If another way of doing that is available, that would be fine too. Not having the views load on viewDidLoad is fine - as mentioned earlier, the shown ViewController can change depending on the buttons pressed.

Xcode 5 has a preferences pane that allow one to download iPhone 6.1 simulator, however I can&#39;t find a place where it allows downloading of iOS 6 SDK, thus it is not possible to set the active SDK to iOS 6 when developing with Xcode 5. Is there a workaround that would allow Xcode 5 to install iOS 6 SDK?

Workarounds should no longer be necessary now that Xcode 5 is generally available and allows you to download previous versions of the SDK.

Is it possible to install iOS 6 SDK on Xcode 5?

When you &quot;run&quot; the simulator from xCode, the app automatically launches, and then you can click the home button to suspend the app. What I want to do is *close* the app from within the simulator. So, how can this be done?

What happens if the old certificate expires? Will users be available do download my app with old certificate, or will Apple remove my app until the new certificate is provided?

Apple release a new feature of the App Store.
The ability for owner of iPhone with non compatible iOS version to download a previous (the last compatible version) of your App.

This can be pretty cool. But unfortunaly I have an old version of my App supporting iOS5 which is not at all supported by my backend. The last version require iOS6 minimum. So any user having iOS5 download an unsupported version of the App.

Apple said that you can delete previous version (https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=9182013a):

&gt; If you do not wish to make these versions available, you can manage the availability of your apps&#39; previous versions in the Rights and Pricing section of the Manage Your Apps module in iTunes Connect

But I can&#39;t find any link about this in the &quot;Rights and Pricing&quot;.

App Store - Managing Availability of Your Apps&#39; Previous Versions

I am facing an issue while submitting my app from Xcode to the App Store. I have done everything regarding my project, and its running fine on my iPhone and iPad. But when I submit my project I am facing a huge problem.

First after archive I have done the validate. Now my archive file in Organizer is showing status pass validation as well. So I believe I am at the final step of submitting the app.

 1. I have clicked on distribute and selected submit app to app store.

 2. After login I have selected provisioning files as well.

 3. I am stuck here. You can see in the screenshot below. And I have never seen any  
    progress bar where I can see the submission progress or something like that.

It was near about 1.30 hours. And internet connection is working. My ipa file is only 3.5 MB.

And last when I tried Application loader to upload the same I received the following screen as well for a long time in **Authenticating with the iTunes Store...** ..

Xcode stuck at “Your application is being uploaded”

I am trying to add a new APP ID to prepare for App Store submission and got the following error under the bundle ID I provided.

 &gt; An App ID with Identifier `&#39;com.domainName.AppName&#39;` is not available. Please enter a different string.
 
What does this mean? I am trying to add a brand new App ID, of course it does not exist.

What am I missing? I do not remember experience the problem last time I create an App ID.
