When using Visual Studio 2008, when I &quot;Publish Web Site&quot;, the application builds correctly, but then I get a &quot;Publish failed&quot; message:

I&#39;m setting up a publish to a relative path for testing locally (especially xml config transformations). Each developer has their own path to the checked out project and I&#39;d like to set up a publish that is machine/environment agnostic.

The publish dialog doesn&#39;t hint at any variables or wildcards that are allowed in it and it doesn&#39;t accept `obj\publish` or `file://./obj/publish`

Is there a way to publish to a relative filesystem path?

I have completed an application I have made in Visual Studio 14.0, but when  I tried to publish the program, I get an error as Visual Studio cannot find &#39;SignTool.exe&#39;. I have searched my Hard drive a few times for this but it is nowhere on my PC. Can anyone help me find it or download it?

I&#39;ve successfully completed the publishing process for an APK to the Internal Test Track.
But when I try to view the App for download on the Google Play Store using the &quot;VIEW ON GOOGLE PLAY&quot; link in the screenshot below...

I&#39;ve also tried using the testers link &quot;download it on Google Play.&quot; below...

...but it results in the same message stating the App can&#39;t be found.

This is the first time the App has been published and it&#39;s being done on the Internal Test Track.

The automated testing picked up a few warning and minor issues but no errors:

Has anyone experienced this issue before?  I&#39;ve contacted Google support for advice but I thought it would be worth trying here too and seeing if anyone had any suggestions on what to try next.

Google App is Published on Internal Test Track but Can&#39;t Be Found/Downloaded

Is there any API or tool that enables me to automatically upload an APK to Google Play? I want to automatically publish customized apps to my account without any manual steps or graphical interface.

I searched around but could not find any API for doing this (only [android-publisher][1] but it doesn&#39;t support publishing, despite its name). Did anyone solve this already, seems like a basic feature?

I have a c# .Net 4.0 project created with VS2010 and now being accessed with VS2012.

I&#39;m trying to publish only the needed files from this website to a destination location **(C:\builds\MyProject\[Files])**

**My file structure:**

./ProjectRoot/Properties/PublishProfiles/FileSystemDebug.pubxml


**I&#39;m running the following via MSBuild:**

The resulting behavior is:

 - a zip file is created here:**./ProjectRoot/obj/Debug/Package/MyProject.zip**
 - Nothing is deployed to **`&lt;publishUrl&gt;C:\builds\MyProject\&lt;/publishUrl&gt;`** WTF
 - the zip file that is created is a pigs breakfast and full of files that aren&#39;t needed for the application.

When I run this publish profile through visual studio a folder is created at **C:\builds\MyProject\** and contains the exact artifacts that I want.

How do I get this simple result from msbuild?

I am publishing my ASP.NET 5 MVC6 project from Visual Studio 2015. I have imported publish profile from my server. Connection validates successfully, however when I publish my project I have the following error:

ERROR_CERTIFICATE_VALIDATION_FAILED

&gt; certificate. If you trust the server, connect again and allow

There is no option to allow untrusted certificates in publishing settings.

I am a newbie to Gradle and Artifactory and I want to upload a JAR file to Artifactory.

Here is my `build.gradle` file:

Upload artifact to Artifactory using Gradle

I&#39;m creating a scatterplot using ggplot in R (R version 3.2.1). I want to save the graph as a tiff image in 300 DPI in order to publish it in a journal. However, my code using ggsave or tiff() with dev.off doesn&#39;t seem to work and only saves it in 96 DPI. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Below is a sample of my code using both methods:

The output is a 96 DPI with a width of 1500 pixels and a height of 1200 pixels.

Saving a high resolution image in R

When I issue the following command in the command line:

`dotnet publish -o &quot;./../output&quot; -c Release`

The `dotnetcli` publishes the project correctly. However, it does not copy the `appsettings.Production.json` file, only the `appsettings.json`.

Why is this? I have googled around and read the official core docs, but haven&#39;t found how the correct environment `appsettings.json` is supposed to end up in the publish output.

Should I copy `appsettings.Production.json` manually to the published folder?

I am facing a problem when trying to install a generated jar into my local Maven Repository. The message error just show me &#39;task &#39;publish&#39; is not found&#39;

MS Visual Studio: How to exclude certain Project Folders from publishing?

I am creating a publishable package and when I navigate to `obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp` directory, I am seeing the web.config&#39;s connection string is replaced by a replacable token, and I simply don&#39;t want that. I won&#39;t be using publishing batch files or anything, I&#39;ll be copying the files in the directory (I&#39;m using the publishing package system only to get rid of lots of dynamically generated files while I&#39;m testing my project and get the fresh/original file tree of my project) I don&#39;t want those web.config tokens and transforms etc, I just want my web.config file to be copied just like any other file. How do I achieve that? I&#39;ve seen the `/p:AutoParameterizationWebConfigConnectionStrings=False` method for the commad line but I&#39;m not using the command line, I am using the GUI to create the package. How will I stop web.config from changing the connection string to a token?

And before you say: Yes, I know that I can copy the original web.config from my original directory, but I don&#39;t want to deal with this and that, I want to finish it with a single click as I&#39;m testing the publish package and frequently re-creating the package.
