In my application, I have a `ListBox` with items. The application is written in WPF.

How can I scroll automatically to the last added item? I want the `ScrollViewer` to be moved to the end of the list when new item has been added.

Is there any event like `ItemsChanged`? 
(I don&#39;t want to use the `SelectionChanged` event)

I was wondering how people handle a ListBox control that has no items? e.g. I want to bind a list of search results but if no results are found i would like to display &quot;No results found&quot;. 

The way i currently tackle this is that i hide the listbox if the result set count = 0 and show a label with the &quot;No results found&quot; message. Ideally i would like something like the ASP .NET datagrid EmptyTemplate solution.

I don&#39;t have much experience in HTML. I am looking to create a simple listbox, but one of the requirements is to DISALLOW multiple selection. Most of the code for listboxes goes like this -

I have a WPF listbox which displays messages. It contains an avatar on the left side and the username and message stacked vertically to the right of the avatar. The layout is fine until the message text should word wrap, but instead I get a horizontal scroll bar on the listbox.

Force TextBlock to wrap in WPF ListBox

In the example below I have a ListBox with dozens of font names in it.

I would have thought it would automatically have a vertical scrollbar on it so that you can select ANY font, not just the first ones in the list, but it doesn&#39;t.

So I added a &quot;ScrollViewer&quot; and that puts a &quot;scrollbar area&quot; on the right but there is no scrollbar in the scrollbar area so that you can scroll (!).

I am using a Winforms ListBox as a small list of events, and want to populate it so that the last event (bottom) is visible. The `SelectionMode` is set to none. The user can scroll the list but I would prefer it start out scrolled to the end.

Looking at the lack of support for things like `ScrollIntoView`, `EnsureVisible`, I am assuming I will need to create a custom control that inherits from ListBox; however I&#39;m not sure what to do from there.

How to scroll to bottom of ListBox?

I have a `ListBox` `DataTemplate` in WPF. I want one item to be tight against the left side of the `ListBox` and another item to be tight against the right side, but I can&#39;t figure out how to do this.

I want to display all of the available images in a banner along the top of the window, and display the main selected image in the main window for further processing.

As you can see the ContentControl has Visibility set to collapsed.

I need to define a trigger that causes the Visibility to be set to &quot;Visible&quot;


when the ListItem is selected, but I can&#39;t figure it out.

Any ideas? 

UPDATE: Of course I could simply duplicate the DataTemplate and add triggers
to the ListBox in question to use either one or the other, but I want to prevent duplicating this code.

WPF Trigger for IsSelected in a DataTemplate for ListBox items

I have a WPF ListBox that is set to scroll horizontally. The ItemsSource is bound to an ObservableCollection in my ViewModel class. Every time a new item is added, I want the ListBox to scroll to the right so that the new item is viewable.

The ListBox is defined in a DataTemplate, so I am unable to access the ListBox by name in my code behind file.

How can I get a ListBox to  always scroll to show a latest added item?

I would like a way to know when the ListBox has a new  item added to it, but I do not see an event that does this.
