I&#39;m building an app with SwiftUI. When I was trying to display a sheet (previously Modal), this error message appears:

Thread 1: Fatal error: No observable object of type BixiStationCombinedListViewModel.Type found.
A View.environmentObject(_:) for BixiStationCombinedListViewModel.Type may be missing as an ancestor of this view.
```

This error occurs when I&#39;m using a `@State` variable to display a modal that includes a `Map View` using MapKit.

I don&#39;t see why and how I should implement a new `Environment Object`.

Is it because the `Station` I select when tapping on the `CardView`  should be stored globally and the info should be passed to the dedicated `View`?


The `View` handling the `@State`:

How can I get rid of the error message and display the proper `View`?

I have so far avoided use of `log.Fatal`, but I recently co-incidentally discovered these questions; [code-coverage][1] and [tests-using-log-fatal][2].  

One of the comments from the 100 code coverage questions says: 

&gt; ... In the vast majority of cases `log.Fatal` should be only be used in main, or init functions (or possibly some things meant to be called only directly from them)&quot;

It go me thinking, so I began to look at the standard library code provided with Go.  There are lots of examples where the **test** code in the library makes use of `log.Fatal` which seems fine.  There are a few examples outside of the test code, such as in [`net/http`][3], shown below:

    // net/http/transport.go 
    func (t *Transport) putIdleConn(pconn *persistConn) bool {
        ...
    	for _, exist := range t.idleConn[key] {
    		if exist == pconn {
    			log.Fatalf(&quot;dup idle pconn %p in freelist&quot;, pconn)

If its is best practice to avoid use of `log.Fatal`, why is it used at all in the standard libraries, I would have expected just return an error.  It seems unfair to the user of the library to cause `os.Exit` to be called and not providing any chance for the application to clean-up.

I may be naive, so hence my question as a better practice would seem to be to call `log.Panic` which can be recovered and my theoretical long running stable application might have a chance of rising from the ashes.

So what would best-practise say for Go about when should log.Fatal should be used?

Should a Go package ever use log.Fatal and when?

I got an extremely annyoing error in Eclipse (in the console):

I cant&#39;t make any sense of this, because even Eclipse doesn&#39;t display any errors (in the code editor)...
This is a real productivity-killer, because it blocks all progress.
If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this, please answer this question.

I&#39;m trying a simple web service example and I get this error even though I uncommented `extension=php_soap.dll` in the `php.ini` file:

I&#39;m getting this error and I can&#39;t make head or tail of it.

I&#39;m writing a new WebApp without a Framework.

In my **index.php** I&#39;m using: `require_once(&#39;load.php&#39;);`

And in **load.php** I&#39;m using `require_once(&#39;class.php&#39;);` to load my **class.php**.

In my **class.php** I&#39;ve got this error:

An example how my *class.php* is written:

but can also be

I can use `set_error_handler()` to catch most PHP errors, but it doesn&#39;t work for fatal (`E_ERROR`) errors, such as calling a function that doesn&#39;t exist. Is there another way to catch these errors?

I am trying to call `mail()` for all errors and am running PHP 5.2.3.

When I open the page index.php I get the following warning and fatal error. I don&#39;t understand what causes this error. When I gave the absolute path it works. But absolute path is not a good idea i believe.

I am trying to implement Type Hinting of PHP5 on one of my class,

    class ClassA {
        public function method_a (ClassB $b)
        {}
    }

    class ClassB {}
    class ClassWrong{}

Correct usage:

    $a = new ClassA;
    $a-&gt;method_a(new ClassB);


producing error:

    $a = new ClassA;
    $a-&gt;method_a(new ClassWrong);

&gt;&lt;b&gt;Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to ClassA::method_a() must be an instance of ClassB, instance of ClassWrong given...&lt;/b&gt;

I&#39;ve been playing around with a system I&#39;m developing and managed to get it to cause this:

It happened when I was doing something unrealistic, but nevertheless it could happen with a user.

Here is my case:

 - I was working on one branch.
 - Pushed new commits to the remote.
 - Switched back to the master branch. 

But suddenly after typing `git checkout master` command my computer encountered [blue screen of death][1] and an unexpected force shut down happened. After starting back my computer I have checked the status of my current branch and as a result I got each and every file as marked new files.

Now, I am stuck at this point and after `git log` command I am getting error 

    $ git log
    fatal: your current branch appears to be broken

How to solve this problem and recover my branch?.

I am working with windows 7 and git bash latest version
