For Xcode 4.3 auto layout is enabled by default. To disable deselect the &quot;use auto layout&quot; option in the file inspector tab.

In Xcode 4.5 you need to go to file inspector to uncheck the Use Autolayout, then go back to Size inspector, the good old Autosizing is back where it was. :)

I&#39;m trying to find out if my table will get less performant if I change the primary key to BIGINT(20). At the moment, I&#39;m using INT(7) and have about **300.000 entries already with large IDs (7 or 8 digits)**.
I searched a lot already but only found out that it uses more disk-space (which is obvious). 

All of my IDs have 7 digits right now, but my customer wants to change to 8 digits. I won&#39;t be able to easily change the software in the future, so I thought about using BIGINT(20) now just in case. Would it be less performant if I use BIGINT even though I don&#39;t need to yet?

Does anyone with experience doing this have suggestions regarding speed and performance?

Are there any guidelines on when to use storyboards in an iOS project and when to use XIBs? what are the pros and cons of each and what situations do they each suit?

Near as I can tell it&#39;s not that clean to use storyboard segues when you have view controllers being pushed by dynamic UI elements (Like map pins).

We have an iOS app whose push notification cert has expired and we&#39;re trying to create a new one.  I&#39;ve created new certs in the Provisioning portal (ios_developer.cer, ios_distribution.cer) and downloaded them.  I was following instructions [here on Stack Overflow][1] to convert it to PEM and then to P12 files, but I&#39;m stuck.  When I then attempt to convert the PEM to P12, it wants a private key of some sort, and I don&#39;t know where to get it.

I&#39;ve also tried loading these into Keychain Access.  I had read that you could export them as P12 from there, but when I do the Import, they don&#39;t appear anywhere.

Is this possible to share data between two applications on the same device?

Or can I allow some other application to use my application&#39;s information / data or in any other way?

For example, the first application is for event management, and I use it to save some event. The second application is for reminders, which will get data from the other application in order to remind me about the event.

This is just a simple example, not a real scenario.

But I do not have Google Analytics in my app, I deleted all of it how can I remove the error?
And archiving an app gives me the error:

    Command /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang failed with exit code 1

‘ld: warning: directory not found for option’

In an Xcode project, I see XML when clicking on MainStoryBoard.storyboard instead of the graphical design, why and how to restore the right view ?

Update: I think it&#39;s a bug of XCode 4.2 because on another project, when I click on version editor I have XML but when I click on standard editor it shows visual design.

Is there a way to fix this and not to force me to recreate my visual design by hand once again ?
