By mistake I have removed /etc/nginx directory in my ubuntu 11.10 PC. How can I restore the ngnix directory in /etc/nginx ?

I did these commands:

 1. `sudo su`
 2. `rm -rf /etc/nginx`

I want to get again /etc/nginx directory. how?

I tried this to re-install nginx:

 1. `sudo apt-get update`
 2. `sudo apt-get upgrade`
 3. `sudo apt-get install nginx`
     
then it gives following

I didn&#39;t find it  (because the Setup Project was discontinued after VS2010) so I switched to VS2010 but the problem is the project wont open and I get this message:

For example, the bits in a byte `B` are `10000010`, how can I assign the bits to the string `str` literally, that is, `str = &quot;10000010&quot;`.

  I read the byte from a binary file, and stored in the byte array `B`. I use `System.out.println(Integer.toBinaryString(B[i]))`.  the problem is 

(a) when the bits begin with (leftmost) 1, the output is not correct because it converts `B[i]` to a negative int value. 

(b) if the bits begin with `0`, the output ignore `0`, for example, assume `B[0]` has 00000001, the output is `1` instead of `00000001`

I have following LinkedHashMap declaration.

my point is how can i iterate through this hash map.
I want to do this following, for each key get the corresponding arraylist and print the values of the arraylist one by one against the key.

I tried this but *get* only returns string,

    String key = iterator.next().toString();  
    ArrayList&lt;String&gt; value = (ArrayList&lt;String&gt; )test1.get(key)

than my program should give me that the sentence is valid and it has &quot;work&quot;.

then my program should not give me that there is a &quot;work&quot; in the sentence.

Recently I wrote a project with maven, but I have a question about the version in maven pom.xml.

What will the version be when I don&#39;t specify it in the Maven&#39;s pom.xml?

After using RXTX for a number of different projects, I&#39;ve come across many annoying discrepancies and issues that can only sensibly be put down to bugs in the library - deadlocks, race hazards, and monitor threads deep in the RXTX library being left open preventing the program from closing (even though all ports I was using have been closed!) Running the latest &quot;unstable&quot; version has helped a bit, but it&#39;s still far from where I&#39;d call it reliable, and activity on the project seems rather low at present.

However, searching for free cross-platform alternatives to RXTX doesn&#39;t seem to come up with much else.

Is there another library that anyone&#39;s tried with more luck? I don&#39;t need parallel port support, just serial, and it doesn&#39;t necessarily have to be compatible with RXTX or the `javax.comm` API.

I&#39;m learning Swing class now and everything about it. I&#39;ve got this toy program I&#39;ve been putting together that prompts for a name and then presents a JOptionPane with the message &quot;You&#39;ve entered (Your Name)&quot;.
The submit button I use can only be clicked on, but I&#39;d like to get it to work with the Enter button too. I&#39;ve tried adding a KeyListener, as is recommended in the Java book I&#39;m using (Eventful Java, Bruce Danyluk and Murtagh).

Allowing the &quot;Enter&quot; key to press the submit button, as opposed to only using MouseClick

1) Why do we use `DTO` and `DAO`, and when should we use them. I am developing a `GUI` Java software to do with inserting, editing, deleting data. But I am struggling to distinguish between `DTO/DAO` and `Model`, `View`, `Controller` (MVC)  Structure? Are they similar, which is  better to use when interacting with database through Java `GUI`. 

2) One thing I&#39;m really curious about is whether it is a good practice to have `view` and `Controller` in one class. If we think about `Netbeans`, you can create `GUI` Frame Class and add components like `JButton` onto the frame, double clicking the button will take you to the `actionListener` method(Controller) which appears to be in the frame the data is to be displayed to the user (View). So they&#39;re in the same class. Is that completely going against the concept then or not?

This might be a very noob question. I&#39;m just starting to learn Java

I don&#39;t understand the operation of paintComponent method. I know if I want to draw something, I must override the paintComponent method.

But when is it called? I never see anything like &quot;object.paintComponent(g)&quot; but still it is drawn when the program is running. 

And what is the Graphics parameter? Where is it from? Parameter must be supplied when the method is called. But as I said before, it seems like this method is never be explicitly called. So who provides this parameter? And why do we have to cast it to Graphics2D?

If you have an monitor with a DPI over 150 (such as Macbook Pro), you may also find the problem: ***the font on the Java Swing app is too small for high DPI monitor***, and I cannot change the font size at all ( It ignores the Windows DPI directly, only displaying ***the very original DPI--&gt;96*** ). I can do nothing but changing the screen resolution, which could absolutely make everything blurry on LCD.

Yes, I have a laptop with a high DPI monitor, 15.6&#39; with 1920x1080 resolution, some Java desktop apps look very small on my laptop, such as Matlab, Burpsuite etc. I have been searching the Internet for a very very long time, but still cannot find a method for the problem. I know I can change the JRE fonts through `JRE_HOME/lib/font/fontconfig.properties.src`, but I cannot find any place to set the default font size or DPI for Java desktop fonts. 

Does the problem have no solution? Do you have a high DPI monitor? How do you do with such apps? Does Swing give up high DPI users?
