I didn&#39;t notice yesterday that you had `&amp;amp;` I thought that was the SO editor had changed that. Try wrapping your `Url.Action()` in a `@Html.Raw()` to prevent the Encode of &amp;.

Or alternatively only `Url.Action()` the controller/action bit and pass the two parameters as post data rather than directly on the url, jQuery should sort out the &amp;&#39;s for you that way.

I think your problem is with `Model.meta.PostAction` - is that property a `string`?

If so then my guess would be that you&#39;re adding it to the page with either:

* Razor: `@Model.meta.PostAction`
* ASP view engine: `&lt;%:Model.meta.PostAction%&gt;`

Both of which automatically encode that string for you.

To fix it either use `@Html.Raw()`/`&lt;%=` (both of which don&#39;t encode) or make the `PostAction` property an `IHtmlString` that knows that it&#39;s already been encoded:

As you can see it is straight forward, but I am a bit confused about how the maxconn properties work. 

There is the global one and the maxconn on the server, in the listen block. My thinking is this: the global one manages the total number of connections that haproxy, as a service, will queue or process at one time. If the number gets above that, it either kills the connection, or pools in some linux socket? I have no idea what happens if the number gets higher than 4000.

Then you have the server maxconn property set at 15. First off, I set that at 15 because my php-fpm, this is forwarding to on a separate server, only has so many child processes it can use, so I make sure I am pooling the requests here, instead of in php-fpm. Which I think is faster. 

But back on the subject, my theory about this number is each server in this block will only be sent 15 connections at a time. And then the connections will wait for an open server. If I had cookies on, the connections would wait for the CORRECT open server. But I don&#39;t.

So questions are:

1. What happens if the global connections get above 4000? Do they die? Or pool in Linux somehow?
2. Are the global connection related to the server connections, other than the fact you can&#39;t have a total number of server connections greater than global?
3. When figuring out the global connections, shouldn&#39;t it be the amount of connections added up in the server section, plus a certain percentage for pooling? And obviously you have other restrains on the connections, but really it is how many you want to send to the proxies?

Difference between global maxconn and server maxconn haproxy

Every time I connect to a server with ssh, the connection is reset after a few minutes if there is no input. However, I want to remove these timeouts as to keep the connection alive for as long as possible.

By looking on different forums, I saw it was possible to modify the ServerAliveInterval option in the /etc/ssh_config file. However, there doesn&#39;t seem to be this option in my file. Where could it be?

I&#39;m running OpenSSH_5.2p1 on Snow Leopard.

I know there has been a lot of posts on this but it still confuses me why should you pass in an interface like IList and return an interface like IList back instead of the concrete list.

I read a lot of posts saying how this makes it easier to change the implementation later on, but I just don&#39;t fully see how that works.

Say if I have this method

Now I am returning IList for the simple fact that I will then add this to my domain model what has a property like this:

    public virtual IList&lt;AvailableFeature&gt; AvailableFeatures { get; set; }

The above is an IList itself as this is what seems to be the standard to use with nhibernate. Otherwise I might have returned IEnumberable back but not sure. Still, I can&#39;t figure out what the user would 100% need(that&#39;s where returning a concrete has an advantage over).

**Short Question**

I have a loop that runs 180,000 times. At the end of each iteration it is supposed to append the results to a TextBox, which is updated real-time.

Using `MyTextBox.Text += someValue` is causing the application to eat huge amounts of memory, and it runs out of available memory after a few thousand records. 

Is there a more efficient way of appending text to a `TextBox.Text` 180,000 times?

**Edit** I really don&#39;t care about the result of this specific case, however I want to know why this seems to be a memory hog, and if there is a more efficient way to append text to a TextBox.

**Long (Original) Question**

I have a small app which reads a list of ID numbers in a CSV file and generates a PDF report for each one. After each pdf file is generated, the `ResultsTextBox.Text` gets appended with the ID Number of the report that got processed and that it was successfully processed. **The process runs on a background thread, so the ResultsTextBox gets updated real-time as items get processed**

I am currently running the app against 180,000 ID numbers, however the memory the application is taking up is growing exponentially as time goes by. It starts by around 90K, but by about 3000 records it is taking up roughly 250MB and by 4000 records the application is taking up about 500 MB of memory. 

If I comment out the update to the Results TextBox, the memory stays relatively stationary at roughly 90K, so I can assume that writing `ResultsText.Text += someValue` is what is causing it to eat memory.

My question is, why is this? What is a better way of appending data to a TextBox.Text that doesn&#39;t eat memory?

My code looks like this:

I&#39;m fine with leaving the line updating the Results TextBox commented out to run this thing, but I would like to know if there is a more memory efficient way of appending data to a `TextBox.Text` for future projects.

Is there a way to do a wildcard element name match using `querySelector` or `querySelectorAll`?

Last time I had one div with tabindex=&#39;-1&#39; to make it focusable on click, now I have a list of divs with tabindex&gt;0 so they can gain focus when tabbing as well.

Now I&#39;m using a flag(action) to fire an action(alert) when clicking the div for 2nd time, and with just one click if it&#39;s already focused,with TAB for example.

Unfortunately I need to iterate over all the DOM elements of a page and I&#39;m wondering what the most efficient technique is. I could probably benchmark these myself and might if I have the time but I&#39;m hoping someone has already experienced this or has some options I hadn&#39;t considered.

Currently I&#39;m using jQuery and doing this:

The problem in Html.ActionLink() is that you can&#39;t add additional html content inside the &lt;a&gt; tag that it generates.
For example, if you want to add an icon besides the text like:
