There is no modifier `g` for [`preg_match`](http://php.net/preg_match). Instead, you have to use the [`preg_match_all`](http://php.net/preg_match_all) function.

So instead of:

    preg_match(&quot;/^(\w|\.|-)+?@(\w|-)+?\.\w{2,4}($|\.\w{2,4})$/gim&quot;, ....)

use:

    preg_match_all(&quot;/^(\w|\.|-)+?@(\w|-)+?\.\w{2,4}($|\.\w{2,4})$/im&quot;, ....)

How can I have a regular expression that tests for spaces or tabs, but not newlines?

I tried `\s`, but I found out that it tests for newlines too.

I use [C#][1] (.NET) and [WPF][2], but it shouldn&#39;t matter.

Regular expression: find spaces (tabs/space), but not newlines

I&#39;d like to store some application settings (like the URL of an API, and some settings for testing) for an Android application.

I mostly work as a [.NET][1] developer, so I&#39;m used to using the file `app.config` for this purpose. What&#39;s a good way to do it in Android?

Whenever I try to get the mime content type from php, it echos:

I have a lot of functions that either have type hinting for arrays or use `is_array()` to check the array-ness of a variable. 

Now I&#39;m starting to use objects that are iterable. They implement `Iterator` or `IteratorAggregate`. Will these be accepted as arrays if they pass through type hinting, or undergo `is_array()`? 

If I have to modify my code, is there a generic sort of `is_iterable()`, or must I do something like:

I have WampServer 2 installed on my Windows 7 computer. I&#39;m using Apache 2.2.11 and PHP 5.2.11. When I attempt to upload any file from a form, it seems to upload, but in PHP, the `$_FILES` array is empty. There is no file in the `c:\wamp\tmp` folder. I have configured `php.ini` to allow file uploads and such. The `tmp` folder has read/write privileges for the current user. I&#39;m stumped.
