# Xcode 7+

Click your project name in the Project Navigator. Then select your Tests target. Click the minus (-) button at the bottom to delete it. (Select everywhere in red in the image below.)

As mentioned in a comment earlier, it is a good idea to do Unit Testing (and UI testing) in your projects. So, if you want to add them back in then just click the plus (+) button.

I suggest to **make test** in your project.

But in any case, you might to leave there the target. 

Otherwise, if you want delete at any cost, you have just to **click on your project settings** and click on this icon:

You will see your **targets** and you will can delete the **test target**. At this point you might want **delete the test classes** too: on the folder hierarchy, select these and just press backspace, confirming the deletion.

I have got the following exception from the below code block.

**An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line1, position 844.**

I was trying to parse s set of data retrieved from table to a data set.

I have figured out the reason for the exception, but I couldn&#39;t solve it. In this particular situation, the string(which is retrieved from DB) contains a special character (&amp;). That causes exception. How I can solve it. Any help on this would be great.

I know that using `summary` will help me to do this manually, however, I will have to calculted tons of R-squared values. Therefore, I need the computer to extract it for me. Here is a simple example:

I didn&#39;t create this Xcode project - just pulled it from git to check it out.

I need to download and install an `ipa` directly from an URL.

I have tried this:

The app launches Safari but then this message appears:

I am trying to make the status bar for one of my view controllers to be hidden (when displayed modally). When I&#39;m presenting the view controller, the status bar is is to be hidden and then returned when dismissed.

I have added the following code to the presented view controller

    - (BOOL)prefersStatusBarHidden
    {
        return YES;
    }

I have also set the keys in the Info.plist file to the following:

    &lt;key&gt;UIViewControllerBasedStatusBarAppearance&lt;/key&gt;
    &lt;true/&gt;

From my understanding this should be all that is required to make this work. 

I am also using a custom Animation Controller to do the presenting which conforms to the `UIViewControllerAnimatedTransitioning` protocol. In the `animateTransition:` implementation I have tried to manually call `prefersStatusBarHidden`, followed by `setNeedsStatusBarAppearanceUpdate` to ensure the call is being made, but the status bar remains.

Any ideas why this is happening would be appreciated. I have searched StackOverflow, but it appears no one has had this issue, all accepted answers refer to calling `setNeedsStatusBarAppearanceUpdate`, which I am already doing.

**EDIT** - The code below now seems to ***WORK*** as desired

How can I, in my view controller code, differentiate between:

 * presented modally
 * pushed on navigation stack

Both `presentingViewController` and `isMovingToParentViewController` are `YES` in both cases, so are not very helpful.

What complicates things is that my parent view controller is sometimes modal, on which the to be checked view controller is pushed.

It turns out my issue is that I embed my `HtmlViewController` in a `UINavigationController` which is then presented. That&#39;s why my own attempts and the good answers below were not working.

So many developers are adding various convenience macros to the `Prefix.pch`. But my question is what is that `Prefix.pch` file. 

* If i remove that `Prefix.pch` file from my `Xcode`, then will my application run? Or will it show any error? Or will it crash during build?

I have `myService` that uses `myOtherService`, which makes a remote call, returning promise:

As you can see from the above, the definition of my mock depends on `$q`, which I have to load using `inject()`. Furthermore, injecting the mock should be happening in `module()`, which should be coming before `inject()`. However, the value for the mock is not updated once I change it.
