Do you need Ubuntu 20.04? Ubuntu 18.04 comes with [Python 3.6][1], and [3.7 available][2].

If you do, the [deadsnakes PPA][3] has [Python 3.5-3.7 for Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal)][4]. To add it and install:

```bash
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:deadsnakes/ppa
sudo apt-get install python3.7
```

P.s. I&#39;m not a dev and have no experience with Tensorflow so take this with a grain of salt.

(Sidenote: `add-apt-repository` runs `apt-get update` automatically, but that&#39;s not documented in `man add-apt-repository`, only `add-apt-repository --help`. This was fixed in a later release.)

Tensorflow 2.2 now supports python 3.8 so problem is solved now.

I have upgraded the mac OS to Big Sur and none of the emulators are working. It seems that all Android emulators Fails on Mac OS Big Sur Beta. I deleted the old emulators and created new ones with different HW/SW, unsuccessfully. Introduced the following issues in the android emulator.

1. ffffffffb69b4dbb: unhandled exit 1d
2. Emulator Engine Failed
3. adb Device Offline

Currently the Emulators and Arctic Fox are working. Tested on Big Sur 11.5.1

I am preparing a docker image for Ubuntu 20.04 and due to TensorFlow 2.0 requirement, I need Python 3.7. TensorFlow runs on Python 3.5 to 3.7. Running `apt install python3` installs Python 3.8 by default and that breaks my TensorFlow installation.

Is there any way I can get an apt package for Python 3.7 for Ubuntu 20.04? Since it is going to be inside docker image, I don&#39;t want to get into the business of downloading Python 3.7 source code and compiling. Putting those commands in Dockerfile will be overwhelming for me. Is there any simpler way of getting Python 3.7 for Ubuntu 20.04?

I have two lists as follows.

I want to get the mean of the common elements in the two lists as follows.

My current code is as follows

    for item1 in mylist1:
        for item2 in mylist2:
            if item1[0] == item2[0]:
                 print(np.mean([item1[1], item2[1]]))

However, since there are two `for` loops (`O(n^2)` complexity) this is very inefficient for very long lists. I am wondering if there is more standard/efficient way of doing this in Python.


How to efficiently get the mean of the elements in two list of lists in Python

I recently upgraded my OS to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. 

Now when I try to import a library like Numpy in Python, I get the following error:

I was playing around with Unicode identifiers and stumbled upon this:

Does Python forbid two similarly looking Unicode identifiers?

Importing from pyxdameraulevenshtein gives the following error, I have 

    pyxdameraulevenshtein==1.5.3, 
    pandas==1.1.4 and 
    scikit-learn==0.20.2. 
    Numpy is 1.16.1. 
    Works well in Python3.6, Issue in Python3.7.
