The feature that I&#39;m missing a lot from postman in Firefox extensions is WebView  
(preview when API returns HTML).

Now I&#39;m settled with [Fiddler](http://www.telerik.com/fiddler) (Inspectors &gt; WebView)

I have a list of dictionaries and each dictionary has a key of (let&#39;s say) &#39;type&#39; which can have values of `&#39;type1&#39;`, `&#39;type2&#39;`, etc. My goal is to filter out these dictionaries into a list of the same dictionaries but only the ones of a certain &quot;type&quot;. I think i&#39;m just really struggling with `list/dictionary` comprehensions. 

so an example list would look like:

    exampleSet = [{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type1&#39;},{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type2&#39;},{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type2&#39;}, {&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type3&#39;}]

i have a list of key values. lets say for example: 
    
    keyValList = [&#39;type2&#39;,&#39;type3&#39;]

where the expected resulting list would look like: 

    expectedResult = [{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type2&#39;},{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type2&#39;},{&#39;type&#39;:&#39;type3&#39;}]

I know i could do this with a set of for loops. I know there has to be a simpler way though. i found a lot of different flavors of this question but none that really fit the bill and answered the question. I would post an attempt at the answer... but they weren&#39;t that impressive. probably best to leave it open ended. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox ignores padding when using overflow:scroll

I&#39;m using Firefox, and while setting up a server, I have been fiddling around with redirects. Now, Firefox has cached a 301 redirect from http://example.com/ to https://example.com/ and from http://sub.example.com/ to https://sub.example.com/.

I&#39;ve tried the following things:

 1. History -&gt; Show all history -&gt; Forget about this site.
 2. Checked that no bookmark with https://example.com/ is present.
 3. Changing browser.urlbar.autoFill to false in about:config.
 4. Changing browser.cache.check_doc_frequency from 3 to 1.
 5. Options -&gt; Advanced -&gt; Network -&gt; Chached Web Content -&gt; Clear now.

None of the above works, so I checked the redirect with [wheregoes.com][1] and it doesn&#39;t show any redirect from http to https.
I&#39;ve even changed the DNS to point to another IP served by a server, where I&#39;ve never set up redirection - the redirection is still in effect.

I&#39;ve also tried in Private Browsing in Firefox, and there is no redirect there. I&#39;ve tried in Google Chrome, and there is also no redirect here.

I&#39;ve also tried to make a redirect from https to http which worked in Google Chrome, and yielded a redirection error in Firefox.

My version of Firefox is 38.0.1, and I&#39;m using Windows 8.1. I use the following addons: AddBlock, Avast! and LastPass. Avast! may not be the issue, as I&#39;ve disabled it while testing.

**Question**

I have had my Firefox upgraded from 38.0.1 to 38.0.5 and have found a new feature called ReaderView - which is a sort of overlay which removes &quot;page clutter&quot; and makes text easier to read.
Readerview is found in the right hand side of the address bar as a clickable icon on certain pages.

This is fine, but from the programming point of view I want to know how &quot;reader view&quot; works, which criteria of which pages it applies to. I have done some exploration of the Mozilla Firefox website with no clear answers (sod all programming answers of any sort I found), I have of course Googled / Binged this and this only came back with references to Firefox addons - this is not an addon but a staple part of the new Firefox version. 

I made an assumption that readerview used HTML5 and would extract `&lt;article&gt;` contents but this is not the case as it works on Wikipedia which does not appear to use `&lt;article&gt;` or similar HTML5 tags, instead the readview extracts certain `&lt;div&gt;`s and displays them alone. This feature works on some HTML5 pages - such as wikipedia - but then not others.

If anyone has any ideas how Firefox ReaderView actually operates and how this operation can be used by website developers, can you share? Or if you can find where this information can be located, can you point me in the right direction - as I have not been able to find this.

How does Firefox reader view operate

I have an odd problem, the function below is one I created based on what i found on the net about creating a Blob in the client on the fly with some binary data in (passed as an array) and being able to download that. This works brilliantly in Chrome, but doesn&#39;t do anything in Firefox - UNLESS I debug and step through the code. Yes, oddly, if I create a break point inside the function and step through it, the a.click() will bring up the download window!

I am developing a new Firefox addon that intercept all Firefox&#39;s network traffic (http(s) requests with `http-on-modify-request`)

With my current code, I am able to separate requests coming from web-pages/tabs and all the other components (RSS feed updates, XHR requests from XPCOM components, extensions, extensions manager, etc.)

I would like to identify who initiate a request other than the tab&#39;s traffic with precision not just the whole group? (RSS, XPCOM components, extensions, extensions manager, etc)

**Example:** a hypothetical custom variable `requestRequestor` would have a value to identify a specific addon or RSS update etc.

How to identify who initiated the http request in Firefox?

I read the manual of sending request with cookie with postman:

So I downloaded the interceptor for google chrome, and it enable.

Also, I add the following to postman: `Cookie JSESSIONID=daczcz36789`

When I look at the network I notice that the Cookie is not sent.

I am developing a REST API. during development I have used postman (chrome extension) to use and document my API. It is a wonderful tool and I have most of my API endpoints in it. 
However, as we near release I would like to document this API in swagger, how would I do that? Is there a way that I can generate swagger based off of the postman export?

- Step 2 - Get the credentials:

According to [this][4] tutorial, I need to get client ID and secret. This is where I am confused. Credentials-&gt;Add credentials-&gt;OAuth2.0 client ID-&gt;select Chrome App radio button (since I am using Postman)-&gt;enter last part of Postman&#39;s Chrome Web store URL [which is [fhbjgbiflinjbdggehcddcbncdddomop\]][2]-&gt;hit create button These steps will only generate a client ID, not a secret..am I doing something wrong?

From the Google Dev console, one can download an JSON file which has client id, auth URI and Token URI

Using Postman to access OAuth 2.0 Google APIs

Please read this carefully. Please do not send me a link on how to import a certificate.

I am using Postman for QA and testing work. I have a test system I frequently rebuild myself and so it is completely trusted. It has a custom self-signed certificates and I import them as detailed here: http://blog.getpostman.com/2014/01/28/using-self-signed-certificates-with-postman/

However, when I access the site, https://mysite.mycompany.com, I get a message &quot;NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED&quot;. Since it is revoked, importing the certificate does not help at all.

So, is there a way to get Postman to simply ignore certificates for testing purposes? I am not testing certificates but other functionality at this point in time. I do not care about security in this case at all as I have complete control of the system, I am behind a firewall, and I frequently rebuild the system.

How to turn off all SSL checks on Postman for a specific site?

I have followed the steps required to create a new application and getting consumer key, secret pairs and also the token access details. Now I would like to make calls to [Twitter Rest API][1], using chrome Postman client.
