No, its is not possible to upload files through an incoming Webhook. But you can attach image URLs to your attachments with the `image_url` tag.

To upload files you need to use the Slack Web API and the [`files.upload`][1] method. Yes, it requires a different authentication, but its not that complicated if you just use a [test token][2] for all API calls.

Firstly, I need to username, password, fbID (optional), gmailID (optional), twitID (optional), gender, birthDate, location (not required - if long and lat has values), longitude (optional), latitude (optional), profileImage (optional).

When all parameters are good - receive `status = true`. 
If not - receive `status = false` and required parameters which are wrong (e.g. mail is already taken)

So I can receive

In Laravel 5.3 API routes were moved into the api.php file. But how can I call a route in api.php file? I tried to create a route like this:

I pasted in the example below in a chat in my Slack app. I got this example from [slack markdown syntax](https://api.slack.com/docs/formatting) and it still treats it as literal text in the Slack App:

This might be a simple question, but I can not get it work.

I am using Slack Python Api to mention a user in a channel, and I am referring to the document here, https://api.slack.com/methods/chat.postMessage, and my code is simple as,

This will send a message to the channel, but I can not find any option to mention users. And I tried to put `@someone` inside the message such as

The message will be posted but in plain text, but really mentioning someone. 
BTW, I am using a Test Token.(Or maybe this feature is only available for authorized token? )

Is there any option or method to do this?
