You can disable the case sensitivity of the code completion in the settings menu:

File -&gt; Settings -&gt; Editor -&gt; Code completion -&gt; Case sensitive completion

IDEA is very senstive to capitalisation so I doubt ti will ignore it.  You can type `JOP+&lt;tab&gt;` and it will give you JOptionPane.

I am trying to create an application that matches a message template with a message that a user is trying to send. I am using Java regex for matching the message. The template/message may contain special characters.

How would I get the complete list of special characters that need to be escaped in order for my regex to work and match in the maximum possible cases?

How can I check if a list is empty? If so, the system has to give a message saying **List is empty**. If not, the system has to give a message saying **List is not empty**.
Users can enter numbers, `-1` to stop the program.

It uses JPA on top of Hibernate for the persistence layer. The datasource (MySQL) is defined in Spring application context :

Some of the questions I still feel unsure about are:

 1. Do I need an Annotation above the Unit test method?
 2. Do I need to prefix the method with &quot;test&quot;, or is that just for JUnit tests?
 3. Can I have tests in sub-packages of `nilzor.myapp.tests`?

But the main question of this post is *why does not the test runner detect my test*?

Why is the Android test runner reporting &quot;Empty test suite&quot;?

I&#39;m really liking the IntelliJ diff tool. I&#39;m wondering if it is possible to use this tool to diff two arbitrary files. I.e. files NOT in an IntelliJ project. Just pick two files in the file system and diff them?  What about if I want to diff two strings? In my text editor, I&#39;d just create two new documents, paste the text in and diff them, then not save the files when done. Is this possible?
