Typing `brew install cmake` as you did installs `cmake`. Now you can type `cmake` and use it.

If typing `cmake` doesn’t work make sure `/usr/local/bin` is your `PATH`. You can see it with `echo $PATH`. If you don’t see `/usr/local/bin` in it add the following to your `~/.bashrc`:

    export PATH=&quot;/usr/local/bin:$PATH&quot;

Then reload your shell session and try again.

I have created a simple **CollapsingToolbarLayout** and it works like a charm. My problem is, that if I try to use a fling scroll on the **nestedscrollview**, it just stops when I release my finger. Normal scrolling works like it should.

My activities code is ***unchanged =&gt; auto*** generated empty activity. (I just clicked on create new empty activity in android studio and edited the XML yet).

I read here, that scroll gestures on the imageview itself are buggy, but not, that the scrolling itself is buggy: [see here](https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=176673).

I tried activating ***&quot;smooth scrolling&quot;*** through java code. It seems like if I scroll far enough that the imageview isn&#39;t visible anymore, fling gestures then are recognized. 

**TLDR:** Why does the fling gesture not work as long as the imageview is visible ?

I&#39;m trying make a Visual Studio solution with CMake to compile the latest version of aseprite and CMake keeps giving me the:

    No CMAKE_C_COMPILER could be found.
    No CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER could be found.

I&#39;ve already downloaded GCC, and I&#39;m using [Visual&amp;nbsp;Studio&amp;nbsp;2015][1].

CMake error at CMakeLists.txt:30 (project): No CMAKE_C_COMPILER could be found

With reference to [this question][1] there is a so-called &#39;install&#39; phase in CMake. I&#39;m used to run CMake in a sequence that looks like this:

    cmake ..
    cmake --build . --config Debug
    cmake --build . --config Release

Is there a `cmake --install` command line switch meant to be invoked after this?

Although I figure it is somehow related, I&#39;m not looking for the so called `install` command here (I perceive this to be a function rather than a command, but this is likely a terminology issue).

I&#39;m trying to create a simple project on CLion. It uses CMake (I&#39;m new here) to generate Makefiles to build project (or some sort of it)

All I need to is transfer some non-project file (some sort of resource file) to binary directory each time when I run the my code.

That file contains test data and application open it to read them. I tried several ways to do so:

  - Via `file(COPY ...`

        file(COPY ${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/input.txt
                DESTINATION ${CMAKE_CURRENT_BINARY_DIR}/input.txt

    Looking good but it work just once and not recopy file after next run.

  - Via `add_custom_command`
      - `OUTPUT` version

                    OUTPUT ${CMAKE_CURRENT_BINARY_DIR}/input.txt
                    COMMAND ${CMAKE_COMMAND} -E copy

Copy file from source directory to binary directory using CMake

I am writing CMake macros for the first time, and I have a hard time understanding how variables work. Most specifically, `${a}` seems to have a different meaning than `&quot;${a}&quot;`.

I fail to understand when I am supposed to add quotes, and what are the bigger underlying principles.


When should I quote CMake variables?

I&#39;ve been using `PDFTK` Server on `OSX pre 10.11` for over a year without any issues running commands on the command line.

After installing OSX 10.11 beta, I can no longer run any `PDFTK` Server commands on the command line.  It does not throw any error, all the commands I try to execute just hang indefinitely.

I installed from a pkg I downloaded from the `PDFTK` Server website as always:

I&#39;ve also tried installing from source with Homebrew.  The installation works, but I get the same results, the commands just hang in the terminal:

**I&#39;ve sent in the complaint to Apple via their Feedback Assistant application that gets installed when installing the beta two months ago without a response.**

I&#39;ve been told regarding the Apple Feedback Assistant:

&gt; Feedback Assistant for major bugs of the operating system where they
&gt; need additional information. It is not a way to obtain support, even
&gt; less so for a third-party application.

**On [MacPorts][3] they&#39;re having an issue with the build on OS X 10.11, does this mean that there is a compatibility issue with PDFtk and 10.11 at the software level?**

I&#39;ve searched the web for a clue as to what might be causing the issue and how to fix it, but have found nothing tangible.

On OS X, I don&#39;t know how to go about figuring out if there is now a permission or path or even a Java issue after the upgrade.

Any help either trouble shooting the root cause or offering a fix is appreciated.

PDFtk Server on OS X 10.11

PHP was not working for me as I was encountering [this libpng issue][1], so I reinstalled a new version with Homebrew.  

However, I&#39;m getting a similar error with `libjpeg` this time:

    $ php -v
    dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libjpeg.8.dylib
      Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/php
      Reason: image not found
    Trace/BPT trap: 5

Any suggestions?

So I made the mistake of trying to get rid of all sudo dependencies. I downloaded npm as a package from the site and did a manual/global install. But it seemed as if i was always having to run with sudo...so I tried to uninstall and run with homebrew.

Now I can&#39;t get node or npm to even run...I guess I have to link with brew link them but i&#39;m getting this error:

    Could not symlink share/doc/node/gdbinit
    Target /usr/local/share/doc/node/gdbinit
    already exists. You may want to remove it:
      rm &#39;/usr/local/share/doc/node/gdbinit&#39;


I&#39;ve tried removing that:

Homebrew npm install: could not symlink

I installed postgres using homebrew.
I would like to locate he files pg_hba.conf and postgresql.conf but I cannot find them.

I followed this :
