You can do this with moment.js using `moment.utc()`.

    moment([2011, 10, 8, 5]).format(); // different output based on timezone
    moment.utc([2011, 10, 8, 5]).format(); // same output for all timezones

The way `moment.utc` works is by setting a flag internally to use `getUTCMinutes` instead of `getMinutes`, thus the output is the same in all timezones.


If you want your timezone completely ignored, you can use the following approach:

      var firstDayStr = &#39;29 January 2014&#39;;
      var startAtTime = &#39;10:01:02 AM&#39;;
      var localFormat = &#39;YYYY-MM-DD[T]HH:mm:ss&#39;;
      
      var m = moment(firstDayStr + &#39; &#39; + startAtTime).format(localFormat);
      
      console.log(m);

Output:

    2014-01-29T10:01:02

I was trying to compile the following code:

    #pragma omp parallel shared (j)
    {
       #pragma omp for schedule(dynamic)
       for(i = 0; i != j; i++)
       {
          // do something
       }
    }

but I got the following error: **error: invalid controlling predicate**.

The [OpenMP standard][1] states that for `parallel for` constructor it &quot;only&quot; allows one of the following operators: `&lt;`, `&lt;=`, `&gt;` `&gt;=`. 

I do not understand the rationale for not allowing `i != j`. I could understand, in the case of the `static schedule`, since the compiler needs to pre-compute the number of iterations assigned to each thread. But I can&#39;t understand why this limitation in such case for example. Any clues?

Format date in a specific timezone

I need to take the date value from jquery datepicker turn it into string format &quot;MM/dd/yyyy&quot; so it can do the right ajax post. When the page loads or upon changing the datepicker, a jquery ajax call is made.

I have this code:

    var sTimestamp =

But it doesn&#39;t turn it into &quot;MM/dd/yyyy&quot;. When I use fiddler to check what is sent down the wire, this is the body:

    startTimestamp=03%2FTh%2Fyyyy&amp;endTimestamp=03%2FTh%2Fyyyy&amp;pageSize=50&amp;pageNum=0

If I use the compose in fiddler and change the body to:

    startTimestamp=03/13/2013&amp;endTimestamp=03/14/2013&amp;pageSize=50&amp;pageNum=0

I get the right response. So, my question is, is there a way to take a date object and format it to a string &quot;MM/dd/yyyy&quot; using moment.js? Or is there something wrong with the way I get the date from datepicker?

Btw, I am assuming that datepicker.getDate returns a date object since that&#39;s what the jQuery docs tell me.
