We cannot directly upgrade VS 2017 to VS 2019.  They are compatible and work side by side though (like the following).  Please download and install VS 2019 from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/releases/2019/release-notes

On Visual Studio Installer, You will see two tabs : Installed and Available. On Installed Tab, Visual Studio Community 2017, Click on More Drop-down, Choose Uninstall. Reboot is recommended before you begin with Installing Visual Studio Community 2019 from Available Tab.

it shows like this, even after specifying the root in env variables.

Has anyone seen this warning while installing homebrew? What does it mean? Should I be worried?

Some background info:

I read [some blogs][2] about M1 chip and thought I would need to install Rosetta 2 on my mac in order to install homebrew. 

However, before I Rosetta 2, I tried installing the plain old `/bin/bash -c &quot;$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)&quot;`. The went through, and I saw &quot;Installation successful!&quot; 

The only issue is that I saw the following warning. 

&gt;homebrew Warning: /opt/homebrew/bin is not in your PATH.

Should I be worried? What does it mean?

Getting a warning when installing homebrew on MacOS Big Sur (M1 chip)

As I am trying to build something in visual studio then visual studio show me some warning and then If i ignored it and build then error occurs.

        error MSB8020: The build tools for v142 (Platform Toolset = &#39;v142&#39;) 
        cannot be found. To build using the v142 build tools, please install 
        v142 build tools.

It will also show me an Alternate option I also tried it but not works.


        Alternatively, you may upgrade to the current 
        Visual Studio tools by selecting the Project menu or right-click the 
        solution, and then selecting &quot;Retarget solution&quot;.

I just did an update to VS2019(16.9.0) and now I get this message. (actually on two machines). A restart does not resolve the problem.

What is the CascadePackage?
