Actually in my application I need to save and supply SVN Version as parameter so i have implemented as above .

While Running build we need supply value for those parameter as follows.

Here I am supplying

    release.artifactId=RestAPIBiz
    release.version=10.6

I started learning **Python 3.4** and would like to start using libraries as well as **Google App Engine**, but the majority of **Python** libraries only support **Python 2.7** and the same with **Google App Engine**.

Should I learn **2.7** instead or is there an easier way? (Is it possible to have 2 Python versions on my machine at the same time?)

I am trying to understand the `ifPresent()` method of the `Optional` API in Java 8.

I have simple logic:

    Optional&lt;User&gt; user=...
    user.ifPresent(doSomethingWithUser(user.get()));

But this results in a compilation error: 

    ifPresent(java.util.functionError:(186, 74) java: &#39;void&#39; type not allowed here)


Of course I can do something like this:

    if(user.isPresent())
    {
      doSomethingWithUser(user.get());
    }

But this is exactly like a cluttered `null` check.

If I change the code into this:

     user.ifPresent(new Consumer&lt;User&gt;() {
                @Override public void accept(User user) {
                    doSomethingWithUser(user.get());
                }
            });

The code is getting dirtier, which makes me think of going back to the old `null` check.

Any ideas?

I am retrieving columns names from a SQL database through Java. I know I can retrieve columns names from `ResultSet` too. So I have this sql query

I am seeing this a lot in jstack output when it hangs.

I heavily using Spring @Async &amp; maps, synchronized maps &amp; ehcache.

What is interesting this only happens on one of app instances. Two others are running perfectly fine.
What else I could investigate to get more details in such case?

I am trying to use latest Gradle version (2.0), however I keep getting this message when hitting **gradle build** in terminal. Why is it asking for 1.10 version? I am new to Gradle, so I&#39;m trying to get my head around it.

I can&#39;t seem to be able to get Maven to use Java 1.8. Using 1.8 as the target turns up the following error:

The cause of the error is obvious enough: Maven isn&#39;t using the right version of Java:

Maven was installed with Homebrew.

Java 1.8 is working fine in Eclipse (which is using m2e). I just can&#39;t get Maven to work on the command line.

I am using Maven 2.2.1 and to build my project I used this command

    mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip=true

However, the build failed saying it couldn&#39;t find one of the artifact. However, when I used:

    mvn clean install -DskipTests

everything worked fine. 

So far I have been thinking that these 2 commands are equivalent. However, [this link][1] seems to suggest that `-Dmaven.test.skip=true` also skips compiling the test cases.

However, that still didn&#39;t explain to me why one command is working and another is not. Will be thankful if anyone please explain this to me.

What does the slash mean in help() output?

I&#39;m working on a H.264 Decoder and I&#39;m wondering where to find the SPS and PPS. My reference literature tells me that those are NAL Units encoded in the H.264-Stream, but when I look into an example-MP4-File with IsoViewer, it says that the SPS and PPS are in the avcC Box. 

How exactly does this work? How does it look for .mkv files or other H.264 containers?

that does the UIImage-adding computation. If I try to run the view-adding code inside of the completion block, Xcode throws an error saying that I can&#39;t use the layout engine while in a background process. So I found some code on SO that tries to queue a method on the main thread:

Can we use MSBuild without Visual Studio 2012?

Currently, we have a build server where we are compiling and creating deployment copy of one of our projects, it has Visual Studio Professional Edition installed. We are setting up a new build server now. Do we really need Visual Studio 2012 on the new build server?

If yes, then how? I googled it but I couldn&#39;t find an answer.

Does MSbuild require Visual Studio to be installed on the build server?

I get this error when trying to build my project after changing laptop and updating to Android Studio version 0.8.2.

Android Studio build fails with &quot;Task &#39;&#39; not found in root project &#39;MyProject&#39;.&quot;

I have been developing an app for 1 or 2 weeks now and just yesterday I have updated my iPhone 5S to the iOS 8 GM. Everything worked fine and I could test on my device as well until I deleted the app from my phone and wanted to build again. The following error appeared:

Is this because of the iOS 8 GM update and how can I fix this launch problem?

Whenever I try to use a build configuration named other than &#39;Debug&#39; or &#39;Release&#39;, Xcode suddenly cannot find my Swift frameworks.  The configurations are the exact same other than their name (in fact, the new configuration was duplicated from the working &#39;Debug&#39; configuration).

This seems like a really strange bug.  Surely someone has come across this before? My Google search yielded no results.  Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this issue?  I&#39;m pretty sure I added the framework correctly.

 5. Modify your scheme to use the new configuration by going to Product (menu) &gt; Scheme &gt; Edit Scheme...
 6. Select Run in the left sidebar
 7. Select your new configuration under Build Configuration
 8. Attempt to build again
