Highcharts will automatically try to find the best format for the current zoom-range. This is done if the xAxis has the type `&#39;datetime&#39;`. Next the unit of the current zoom is calculated, it could be one of:

* second
* minute
* hour
* day
* week
* month
* year

This unit is then used find a format for the axis labels. The default patterns are:

    second: &#39;%H:%M:%S&#39;,
    minute: &#39;%H:%M&#39;,
    hour: &#39;%H:%M&#39;,
    day: &#39;%e. %b&#39;,
    week: &#39;%e. %b&#39;,
    month: &#39;%b \&#39;%y&#39;,
    year: &#39;%Y&#39;

If you want the day to be part of the &quot;hour&quot;-level labels you should change the `dateTimeLabelFormats` option for that level include `%d` or `%e`.
These are the available patters:

* %a: Short weekday, like &#39;Mon&#39;.
* %A: Long weekday, like &#39;Monday&#39;.
* %d: Two digit day of the month, 01 to 31.
* %e: Day of the month, 1 through 31.
* %b: Short month, like &#39;Jan&#39;.
* %B: Long month, like &#39;January&#39;.
* %m: Two digit month number, 01 through 12.
* %y: Two digits year, like 09 for 2009.
* %Y: Four digits year, like 2009.
* %H: Two digits hours in 24h format, 00 through 23.
* %I: Two digits hours in 12h format, 00 through 11.
* %l (Lower case L): Hours in 12h format, 1 through 11.
* %M: Two digits minutes, 00 through 59.
* %p: Upper case AM or PM.
* %P: Lower case AM or PM.
* %S: Two digits seconds, 00 through 59

I have a file that possibly contains bad formatting (in this case, the occurrence of the pattern `\\backslash`). I would like to use `grep` to return only the line numbers where this occurs (as in, the match was here, go to line # x and fix it).

However, there doesn&#39;t seem to be a way to print the line number (`grep -n`) and not the match or line itself.

I can use another regex to extract the line numbers, but I want to make sure grep cannot do it by itself. `grep -no` comes closest, I think, but still displays the match.

The validation in Eclipse is catching what it deems &quot;errors&quot; in the framework I&#39;ve been using just fine.

 - `Project -&gt; Properties -&gt; Validation -&gt; &quot;Suspend all validators&quot;` doesn&#39;t work.

 - `Project -&gt; Properties -&gt; Javascript -&gt; Validation -&gt; Errors/Warnings -&gt; [Unchecked] &quot;Enable Javascript semantic validation&quot;` doesn&#39;t work either.

 - Enabling the above-mentioned checkbox and setting all validation issues to &quot;Ignore&quot; doesn&#39;t work either.

Each time one of these settings changes, it does a build and immediately all the &quot;errors&quot; are found and subsequently prevent an otherwise known-good build.

I have an input element and I want to keep checking the length of the contents and whenever the length becomes equal to a particular size, I want to enable the submit button, but I am facing a problem with the onchange event of Javascript as the event fires only when the input element goes out of scope and not when the contents change.

----onchange does not fire on changing contents of name, but only fires when name goes out of focus.

Is there something I can do to make this event work on content change? or some other event I can use for this?
I found a workaround by using the onkeyup function, but that does not fire when we select some content from the auto completer of the browser.

I want something which can work when the content of the field change whether by keyboard or by mouse... any ideas?

What it is supposed to do is notifying the user by making the drop `div` red when dragging something there. This works, but if you drag into the `p` child, the `dragleave` is fired and the `div` isn&#39;t red anymore. Moving back to the drop `div` also doesn&#39;t make it red again. It&#39;s necessary to move completely out of the drop `div` and drag back into it again to make it red.

Is it possible to prevent `dragleave` from firing when dragging into a child element?

how to hide highchart x - axis data values

is there any way to pass some additional data to the series object that will use to show in the chart &#39;tooltip&#39;?

for example
