It is possible to duplicate a key in a keystore with the `keyclone` command of `keytool`:

The `changealias` command changes the alias for an existing entry:

    keytool -changealias -alias &quot;your-very-very-long-alias&quot; -destalias &quot;new-alias&quot; -keypass keypass -keystore /path/to/keystore -storepass storepass

For those that want to be prompted to enter password just remove the respective password flags (`changealias` example):

what I want to do is construct a moq for I1 - which is fine ... however in the course of the method that I am testing that uses this mock I need to cast it to I2 in order to access some properties that are not on I1

    Interface I1 
    { int AProperty{get;set;}}
    
    Interface I2
    {int AnotherProperty{get;set;}}

I then have some objects

    Class O1 : I1 {}

and 

    Class O2 : O1 , I2 {}

the problem is that when i have an instance of a I2 implementing object I can cast it to I1 in order to access the methods that are implmented through that interface. In code this is not a problem and everythign works as expected.

The only problem comes when writing a unit test on that class.

The interfaces also expose a method called GetNewInstance which returns an initialised instance of the the implementing object cast into the IGetNewInstance&lt;T&gt; interface ... i can usually mock this fine and make it return itself (and so I keep working with the mock object).

however when you try to cast this returned object of type I2 into I1 a null reference results - this makes sense as the mock object that implements I2 does not inherit from anything that inherits I1.

the question is how can i force the mock object to inherit from both I1 ansd I2 at the same time?

Firstly, I use pthread library to write multithreading C programs. Threads always hung by their waited mutexes. When I use the strace utility to find a thread in the `FUTEX_WAIT` status, I want to know which thread holds that mutex at that time. But I don&#39;t know how I could I do it. Are there any utilities that could do that?  

Someone told me the Java virtual machine supports this, so I want to know whether Linux support this feature.

Yet that doesn&#39;t work. Trying another key with alias `mjee` it works. 

So could I change the alias of the key? If so, how?

I&#39;m having trouble representing a mobile number in one of my applications.

I want to generate a zip file that will update an application with maven. The zip will be hosted on a server and I am using the assembly plugin to generate the zip. However I would like maven to automatically generate a text file that stores the current version number outside the zip. How is this possible?

EDIT:
I successfully did it using the maven Assembly Plugin and two descriptors to create two custom assemblies. One has a directory-single goal and it just creates a folder with the updated version.txt based on filtering. Then another one with a single goal actually packages the zip file. This seems to be very inelegant and I guess it will not properly update the maven repo with the whole updated folder. If there is a better way to do this, please let me know.

Using maven to output the version number to a text file

I imported a Maven project and it used Java 1.5 even though I have 1.6 configured as my Eclipse default `Preferences-&gt;Java-&gt;Installed JREs`. 

When I changed the Maven project to use the 1.6 JRE it still had the build errors left over from when the project was using Java 1.5 (I described these build errors earlier in: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3538524/i-have-build-errors-with-m2eclipse-but-not-with-maven2-on-the-command-line-is-m)

I&#39;m going to delete the project and try again but I want to make sure this time that it uses Java 1.6 from the start to see if this eliminates the build problems.

Previous I issued a question on [how to change Maven project vesion from command line](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3519005/update-a-maven-project-version-from-script) which lead me to a new issue.

Previously I was able to get the version number since the version was stored as a property that was easy to grep and parse from the command line (bash). Now that the pom.xml `&lt;version&gt;` element is used for this, it no longer is unique since all the dependencies and maybe some others too use this. I think there is no way to get the current version number with a bash script **without** external tools for parsing XML or some very context-aware `sed` command.

The most clean solution in my opinion would be for Maven to hand out this version information. I was thinking of writing a custom maven plugin for retrieving different properties but I thought I&#39;d ask here first.

So, is there any easy way to get the value of `${project.version}` to the command line?

I had to `cd` to the directory manually but that can be done easily. In my bash script I have:

Which gives me the current version that I can then advance. Grepping might be simpler but I thought I&#39;d like as robust as possible, so I&#39;m satisfied with the first line that starts with a number and try to handle this as a version number.

So I will be using Java Web Start to deploy the java application. When exporting to a Runnable Jar, there are three options in eclipse Helios.

 - Extract required libraries into JAR
 - Package required libraries into JAR
 - Copy required libraries into sub folder next to JAR.

What are differences, and how will they affect my .jnlp file?

If it&#39;s a single jar, isn&#39;t it easier because I wouldn&#39;t have to write all the different paths to all the libraries it uses?

If there are changes in both the library and the application, a single jar would be a better solution? Or would I need `&lt;jar href=&#39;&#39;&gt;` for each individual libraries?

Also note that I need to make use of native libraries like .dll and .so files.
