I have a tab bar based app. There are navigation controllers in all 5 tabs with instances of custom view controller setup properly as root view controllers. This loads just fine. A couple of these view controllers contain table views. I want to show a modal view controller to the user when they select a row in the table view. The (relevant part of) didSelectRowAtIndexPath delegate method looks as follows:

    SampleSelectorViewController *sampleVC = [[SampleSelectorViewController alloc] init];
    [self presentViewController:sampleVC animated:YES completion:NULL];

The modal view controller appears BUT it appears after a very noticeable delay. At times it even requires the user to tap the row a second time. A few things that I have already verified are:

 - Table view&#39;s didSelectRowAtIndexPath method is called when the user taps the row
 - The didSelectRowAtIndexPath method does not contain any blocking calls. There are no network operations being performed and the modal view controller&#39;s setup does not involve any processing intensive task. The data it displays is static.
 - If I push the new view controller onto the navigation stack (everything else remaining exactly same), it behaves perfectly without any delays. It is only when presented modally that the delay is encountered.

Any ideas/suggestions?

I need to make the iPhone vibrate, but I don&#39;t know how to do that in Swift. I know that in Objective-C, you just write:

But that is not working for me.

UIAlertController custom font, size, color

I am trying to setup Unit Testing for my project.
It is an existing Objective-C app, that I have recently added one Swift class to. I have setup the &#39;MyProject-Swift.h&#39; and Swift Bridging files (both &#39;MyProject&#39; and &#39;MyProjectTest&#39;) and I am able to build and run the app just fine using both Objective-C and Swift code.

However, now I want to run some Unit Tests on the new Swift class.
I setup my test file and it looks like the following:

I get this error when running the app as Test:

    &#39;MyProject-Swift.h&#39; file not found

I am not sure why this happens only when trying to run the Tests.
Any suggestions?

I keep getting this error, whenever I try to run my app on my iphone, which is running iOS 8.1.-

&gt; **The Developer Disk Image could not be mounted.**
&gt; 
&gt; User’s iPhone may be running a version of iOS that is not supported
&gt; by this version of Xcode.

I tried restarting my mac and xcode, but problem persists.

I have a `UITableView` where the separators don&#39;t have the full width. It ends like 10 pixels before the left side. I was playing around with this code in the `viewDidLoad()`.

    self.tableView.layoutMargins = UIEdgeInsetsZero;

Also in the storyboard when you can select custom or default selectors. Now all the cells that are populated don&#39;t have the full-width selectors but the cells that are empty have full width.

How can I fix this?

I&#39;m using the latest XCode (6.1) and I need to submit the app as soon as possible, but I can&#39;t seem to get around the &quot;Your account already has a valid iOS distribution certificate&quot; error.

I have the client&#39;s provisioning profile and I have his distribution certificate (which is valid) and his private key (I&#39;ve checked using Keychain, it&#39;s definitely there). The bundle ID is also correct. I&#39;ve deleted my provisioning profiles and certificates and reinstalled the client&#39;s many times now.

What could be causing this issue? I&#39;ve seen a lot of topics here on SO with this problem, so I apologise beforehand for creating yet another clone, but I really don&#39;t know how to fix this.

Xcode 6 App Store submission fails with &quot;Your account already has a valid iOS distribution certificate&quot;

I sent an app yesterday for review, with no problem. I then realized that I had a very little fix to do (changing the max zoom level of a map from 19 to 18, nothing else), so I removed the binary from iTunes Connect, and tried to resubmit.

Now I&#39;m having this warning :

I don&#39;t understand why, as my architectures are :

- architectures : armv7
- valid architectures : armv6, armv7, armv7s, arm64

The app runs fine in the simulator. If I try to use the standard architectures (armv7, arm64) as recommended in the warning, then the app won&#39;t build and I get :

- Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64
- ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64

I&#39;m using the lib route-me, and I set the same architecture settings.

iOS app submission : missing 64-bit support

So I have this app called Dripper that I put out about a month ago and then an update a couple days ago. The update added push notifications and a few little tweaks. I tested it with the sandbox-apn using the development profile and things worked great. Then I switched things to the production-apn and pushed it to test-flight, again things worked perfectly. Once I put update on the market and ran it I noticed I wasn’t getting any new push registrations on the server. I looked at the console logs for the device and found this:

First I don&#39;t know how to get the link before I submit my app, and if the link is for each country app store or is it universal?

Also I don&#39;t know if the way to do it is just by putting the link there like:

I set up my application for TestFlight. For external users it is waiting for review. But if I want to invite internal users, I select them and press invite. iTunes Connects says they are invited now, but none of the invited emails gets an invitation email.

I&#39;ve been using TestFlight for a while but this is the first time I&#39;m submitting a build for beta testing directly from iTunesConnect since Apple bought TestFlight itself.

I&#39;ve been experiencing a weird behaviour (or maybe just the Apple&#39;s expected behaviour).

I&#39;ve added the user to my team (they&#39;ve admin role), and I&#39;ve selected them as part of the TestFlight tester in the dedicated panel. I&#39;ve uploaded a build, switched the TestFlight Beta Testing on in the Build tab and selected the Internal Testers (just one in the screenshot below) I would like to receive that build.

Then...nothing happens, the state is still &quot;Processing&quot; (what?? shouldn&#39;t it be immediate?) the tester doesn&#39;t receive any invitation and I&#39;m stuck. There&#39;s obviously something I&#39;m missing here. 

Beside, even if one tester has already been invited, the panel still shows &quot;To start testing, invite at least one tester&quot;. TestFlight was such a good product once...

The two snapshot below show the state of my iTunesConnect panel. Any idea?

TestFight beta testing for internal testers - Build state is &quot;processing&quot;

Is there a way to re-send an invitation to an external tester on Apple&#39;s TestFlight Beta Testing service?

(I am referring to facility for external beta testing accessed via iTunes Connect, not to the standalone TestFlight service that has been provided since before Apple acquired it.)

Within iTunes Connect, under My Apps / Prerelease / External Testers, the tester&#39;s status just shows itself as &quot;Invited&quot;. Unfortunately, this tester had a hyperactive spam filter that simply deletes all spam, so he cannot access the original invitation. And I cannot find any control on the TestFlight UI to re-send it. I have tried turning testing off and on, but this doesn&#39;t seem to help.

I used Xcode 6.1.1 to upload a new version of a prerelease app to iTunes Connect so I could distribute it to my external beta testers. I&#39;ve done this with two versions of the same app previously and it worked fine.

But this time, the upload was stuck in &quot;Processing&quot; state for over a week. I tried again (same version, new build number) and it&#39;s now been over 24 hours with no change.

The app passed validation fine.

What gives?
