I found one way to access the shared folder without giving the username and password.

We need to change the share folder protect settings in the machine where the folder has been shared.

Go to Control Panel &gt; Network and sharing center &gt; Change advanced sharing settings &gt; Enable Turn Off password protect sharing option.

By doing the above settings we can access the shared folder without any username/password.

You need to go to user accounts and enable Guest Account, its default disabled. Once you do this, you share any folder and add the guest account to the list of users who can accesss that specific folder, this also includes to Turn off password Protected Sharing in &#39;Advanced Sharing Settings&#39;

The other way to do this where you only enter a password once is to join a Homegroup. if you have a network of 2 or more computers, they can all connect to a homegroup and access all the files they need from each other, and anyone outside the group needs a 1 time password to be able to access your network, this was introduced in windows 7.

Given two ndarrays

    old_set = [[0, 1], [4, 5]]
    new_set = [[2, 7], [0, 1]]

I&#39;m looking to get the mean of the respective values between the two arrays so that the data ends up something like:

    end_data = [[1, 4], [2, 3]]

basically it would apply something like 

    for i in len(old_set):
        end_data[i] = (old_set[i]+new_set[i])/2

But I&#39;m unsure what syntax to use.. Thanks for the help in advance!

How to publish beta test-version in Android play store ? 

I&#39;m trying to allow beta test my phonegap build app in the android play store. I already uploaded a signed apk in the beta tab and added a google+ group with some users inside ... but I&#39;m slightly surprised that I cannot find how to install or even find this app on the testers smartphones. I opted myself as user in the group but cant see a link to the app or something like that. Shouldn&#39;t the app be already visible to beta users in the app store? Or do I have to push the publish button? The info popup tells:

    &quot;Your app can only be used by your testers when it is published to Google Play. 
    If your app has no production APK then it will only be visible to Alpha and Beta 
    testers. The link that your testers can use to opt-in will be displayed here when 
    you have published your app.&quot;

Sounds to me that it should be published. But doesn&#39;t it mean that the beta apk will be moved to the published-area and not being then a beta any more? I&#39;m afraid that the app will be then visible to all users in the play store not only for my beta testers. 

Could someone explain me how to publish a beta for my testers only?

When I tried to change the window icon in the top left corner from the ugly red &quot;TK&quot; to my own favicon using the code below, Python threw an error:

But this doesn&#39;t explain why it throws an error!

There are some &quot;hackish&quot; ways to avoid that issue, but none of them are Written for Python 3.x.

So my final question is: Is there a way to get a custom icon using Python 3.x and Tkinter?

Also, don&#39;t tell me I should use another GUI Library.  I want my program to work on every platform. I also want a coded version, not a `py2exe` or `sth` solution.

The `localStorage` object in Internet Explorer 11 (Windows 7 build) contains string representations of certain functions instead of native calls as you would expect.

This only breaks with vanilla JavaScript and sites like JSFiddle have no problem with this code but I suspect it&#39;s because there are `localStorage` polyfills in place that correct it.

Take this HTML page code for example:

Changing the document mode (emulation) to 10 or 9 still doesn&#39;t resolve the problem and both result in the same error. Is there a way to start multiple programs in a batch file on system start-up? In addition to that, in that batch file, I would like to be able to say: Once I execute a program, wait until that program completely loads, and execute the next listed program.

I have developed a website which is mainly used in mobile phones.  
I want to allow users to share information directly from the web page into WhatsApp.

Using UserAgent detection I can distinguish between Android and iOS.  
I was able to discover that in order to implement the above in iOS I can use the URL:

I&#39;m still looking for the solution to be used when the OS is Android (as the above doesn&#39;t work).  
I guess it is somehow related to using &quot;intent&quot; in Android, but I couldn&#39;t figure out how to do it as parameter for href.

I am attempting to use a partial function so that pool.map() can target a function that has more than one parameter (in this case a Lock() object).

Here is example code (taken from an answer to a previous question of mine):

What am I missing here? How can I share the lock between my subprocesses?

*Since 2014 when this question has been asked, many situations had happened and many things has changed. I&#39;m revisiting the topic again today, and I&#39;m editing this question for the 12th time to reflect the latest changes*. The question may seem long but it is arranged in the reverse chronological order, so the latest changes are at the top and feel free stop reading at any point.

The question I wanted to solve was -- how to mount host volumes into docker containers in Dockerfile during build, i.e., having the `docker run -v /export:/export` capability during `docker build`.

One reason behind it, for me, is when building things in Docker, I don&#39;t want those (`apt-get install`) caches locked in a single docker, but to share/reuse them.  

That was the main reason I was asking this question. And one more reason I&#39;m facing today is trying to make use of a huge private repo from host which I have to otherwise do `git clone` from a private repo within docker using my private ssh key, which I don&#39;t know how and haven&#39;t looked into yet.

I can understand that portability is a paramount issue for docker developer; but as a docker user, I have to say I&#39;m very disappointed about this missing feature.
