Simply restarting Visual Studio worked for me. 

NOTE: This is mentioned in the question but **restarting Visual Studio** fixes the issue in most cases.

Updating Visual Studio to &#39;Update 2&#39; got it working again.

As mentioned in the question and the link i posted therein, I&#39;d already updated NuGet Package Manager to 3.4.4 prior to this and restarted to no avail, so I don&#39;t know if the combination of both these actions worked.

My confusion is regarding the following line.

    x = x.view(-1, 16*5*5)

What does `tensor.view()` function do? I have seen its usage in many places, but I can&#39;t understand how it interprets its parameters. 

What happens if I give negative values as parameters to the `view()` function? For example, what happens if I call, `tensor_variable.view(1, 1, -1)`?

In Chrome developer tools, the error seems to be coming from this function:

Since it looks like the error seems to have something to do with pulling JSON data from the server, I tried starting from a blank db, but the error persists. The error seems to be called in an infinite loop presumably as React continuously tries to connect to the server and eventually crashes the browser.

EDIT: 

I&#39;ve checked the server response with Chrome dev tools and Chrome REST client, and the data appears to be proper JSON.

EDIT 2:

It appears that though the intended API endpoint is indeed returning the correct JSON data and format, React is polling `http://localhost:3000/?_=1463499798727` instead of the expected `http://localhost:3001/api/threads`.

I am running a webpack hot-reload server on port 3000 with the express app running on port 3001 to return the backend data. What&#39;s frustrating here is that this was working correctly the last time I worked on it and can&#39;t find what I could have possibly changed to break it.

I tried to merge my branch with another branch and there was a merge conflict. In Visual Studio Code (version 1.2.1) I resolved all of the issues, however when I try to commit it keeps giving me this message:

&gt; You should first resolve the un-merged changes before committing your changes.

I&#39;ve tried googling it but I can&#39;t find out why it won&#39;t let me commit my changes, all of the conflicts have disappeared.

I am attempting to setup a new work space and transfer all of my projects from my old computer to the new one.  However, I am getting this error when I try to run IIS Express:

### Background

I have an ASP.NET MVC application project, along with various other projects within a Visual Studio solution. The different projects use various versions of the NPoco library as follows:

* The MVC project includes a version of NPoco through NuGet.
* Some other projects include a (probably different) version of NPoco through a reference to a DLL (not the DLL provided through NuGet).
* One of the projects is the source code of a version of NPoco with some alterations made.

I&#39;m using Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 14.0.25422.01.

### Error
For some reason, when I launch this application in the debugger using the normal Start Debugging command in Visual Studio, it launches, but it also produces the following warning:

Each time I try to install the **DotNetCore.1.0.0-VS2015Tools.Preview2.exe** package I get an error saying the following:

A simple repair of Update 3 has not resolved the issue, so I was attempting to resort to an uninstall/reinstall of the update.  When going through 

&gt; Control Panel &gt; Programs and Features &gt; View Installed updates

 to uninstall the update, it jumps right to the &quot;`Setup Completed`&quot; screen saying that all of the components have been uninstalled without any progress screen.  Then when I attempt to run the Update 3 installer it says the Update is already installed.

I then tried using Revo Uninstaller but the same thing happens after cleaning out folders and registry items.

I even tried doing an `/uninstall /force` on the package but to no avail.  It seems something is remaining stuck somewhere that keeps the update registered.  

Any suggestions?

Problems installing Dot Net Core 1.0.0 VS 2015 Tools Preview 2

After digging around for Visual Studio IDE 2015 update 3 offline installer, aka ISO file, I found it and I am sharing the url.

Following this [Microsoft Tutorial][1] when I run the `PM&gt; Add-Migration MyFirstMigration` command in VS2015 project created from the same tutorial I get the following error that I can&#39;t resolve:

**Point to note**

 1. I&#39;m using the above tutorial with the exception that I&#39;m using `Individual User Account` authentication instead of `No Authentication` used in the tutorial.
 2. I&#39;ve latest release of `ASP.NeT Core 1.0 and VS2015-Update 3 on windows 8.1`
 3. This is a freshly created project. No other DbContext was manually installed

ASP.NET Core EF Add-Migration command not working

I&#39;m using this [MSDN Tutorial][1] to run in VS2015 the command `PM&gt; Add-Migration MyFirstMigration -context BloggingContext` that ran yesterday successfully but today it&#39;s giving the following error that is also pointed out by other users [here][2]. I even deleted the Migrations folder from solution explorer and the corresponding db from `SQL Express 2014 on Win 8.1` but same error. Even if I run `Add-Migration MyFirstMigration` I get same error:

    Add-Migration : The term &#39;Add-Migration&#39; is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. 
    Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Nuget connection attempt failed &quot;Unable to load the service index for source&quot;

I am using MSBuild to generate my nuget packages.

Is there any command I need to set, to allow it to include my `.pdb` files, for stepping into the source while debugging?

I do not want the source files to be included into the project that is pulling in the nuget package.
