I had the same problem. It looks like a bug in Chrome&#39;s live-edit CSS/JS. Notice how the number changes on each request. 

**I fixed it by** closing all the files that I had edited in the dev tools &#39;source&#39; tab and then refreshed the page. 

The error went away after I closed all the files in the &#39;source&#39; tab.

I tried to reproduce it after closing the files, but I can&#39;t seem to recreate it, yet.

Closing sources tabs &#39;fixed&#39; it.

Fixt it by holding [Ctrl] + [Shift] and refresh the page

Just experienced this today if you have a .css file open in the dev tools. If you close the .css file and reload, the issue does not happen.

Say you have an array-like Javascript ES6 Iterable that you know in advance will be finite in length, what&#39;s the best way to convert that to a Javascript Array?

The reason for doing so is that many js libraries such as underscore and lodash only support Arrays, so if you wish to use any of their functions on an Iterable, it must first be converted to an Array.

In python you can just use the list() function. Is there an equivalent in ES6?

This only happens in Chrome, and only with this application.  There is no stack trace, reference, or any other information about what id is given, what the stylesheet in question is, or what is causing this generally.  How can I find what is causing this error and fix it?

I found CSS `will-change`&lt;sup&gt;[W3.org docs](http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-will-change/), [MDN docs](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/will-change)&lt;/sup&gt; property (which already works in Chrome and is partiali supported by Firefox and Opera) but I&#39;m not really sure how it works.
Does anybody know something more about this mysterious thing?

I want to have every single column&#39;s width to fit its content size, and leave the rest of the space for the one column with the &quot;absorbing-column&quot; class, so that it looks like this:

How do I set a max character length of the sentences (with CSS) on my website (like 75 characters) that when I have a very large screen, the sentences wont go further than 75 characters.

How to change the color of header bar and address bar in newest Chrome version on Lollipop?

My goal is to send [Gmail-style desktop notifications][1] in Chrome or Firefox from a web app (let&#39;s call it X) that is NOT currently open in the browser, without requiring the user to install an app or extension. It&#39;s okay if the user needs to grant permission to receive notifications from X, and it&#39;s okay if the browser needs to be open for the notification to appear, as long as X doesn&#39;t need to be open in the browser. A solution that doesn&#39;t require any browser window to be open would also work.

I just spent the day digging into this, and so far I *think* I&#39;ve learned:

 - Since OSX Mavericks, it has been possible to do this in Safari 7+ via [Safari Push Notifications][2].
 - The [Web Notifications API][3] works in Chrome/Firefox, but requires the user&#39;s browser to be open to X.
 - [Twitter][4] sends similar web notifications without asking the user for permission first, but requires the user&#39;s browser to be open to Twitter.
 - There are lots of references to possible [Growl][5] implementations, but as far as I can tell, all of them require the user to install Growl and/or a Growl-enabled app to work.

I could be wrong about any of my statements above - I&#39;d love to hear it! - and I&#39;m open to any other solution too. Any ideas?

For a project of mine (see [BigPictu.re][1] or [bigpicture.js GitHub project][2]), I have to deal with potentially a very, very, very big `&lt;div&gt;` container.

I knew there was a risk of poor performance with the simple approach I use, but I did not expect it to be mostly present with ... Chrome only!

If you test [this small page][3] (see code below), panning (click + drag) will be:

* Normal / smooth on Firefox
* Normal / smooth even on Internet Explorer
* Very slow (nearly crashing) on Chrome!

Of course, I could add some code (in my project) to do that when you&#39;re zoomed in a lot, text with potentially very very big font-size would be hidden. But still, **why does Firefox and Internet&amp;nbsp;Explorer handle it correctly and not Chrome?**

**Is there a way in JavaScript, HTML, or CSS to tell the browser *not to try* to render the whole page (which is 10000 pixels wide here) for every action?** (only render the current viewport!)
