You can disable the generation of `javax.annotation.Generated` by putting the following line in a `lombok.config` file in one of the top directories of your project:
    
    lombok.addGeneratedAnnotation = false

The right answer for android development today is to use a version of dagger which is greater than 2.1 (because of the [fix][1] mentioned by @tomrozb is integrated in 2.1)

I understand that this tag could easily be replaced with `&lt;span class=&quot;nowrap&quot;&gt;` and a little bit of CSS, but in real life markup I often find that `&lt;nobr&gt;` tag is more appropriate. It&#39;s not about style, it&#39;s about content. `&lt;nobr&gt;V. V. Putin&lt;/nobr&gt;` for example (in russian typography last name and first name shouldn&#39;t be line breaked, I think similar rules apply to other languages).

I guess that deprecation means there&#39;s something better but I don&#39;t see how styling is better than separate tag. Of course there are places where CSS should be used. Do I miss something?

My android project builds fine with lombok 1.16.0, but once I change my dependency to target 1.16.2, I get the following error everywhere I&#39;m using a lombok annotation:

The Android SDK does not include all javax packages. What I&#39;m wondering is if this is a bug in 1.16.2 or do I now have to add a dependency to `javax.annotation`?

Looking for a way to chain optionals so that the first one that is present is returned.  If none are present `Optional.empty()` should be returned.

Assuming I have several methods like this:

    Optional&lt;String&gt; find1()

I&#39;m trying to chain them:

    Optional&lt;String&gt; result = find1().orElse( this::find2 ).orElse( this::find3 );

but of course that doesn&#39;t work because `orElse` expects a value and `orElseGet` expects a `Supplier`.

When TalkBack is enabled, is there any way to set the accessibility focus manual to a specific view? For instance, when my Activity is started I want TalkBack to automatically focus on a certain Button (yellow frame around the view) and read its content description.

Android - Set TalkBack accessibility focus to a specific view

How can I use Espresso to click a specific view inside a **RecyclerView** item? I know I can click the item at position 0 using:

`onView(withId(R.id.recyclerView))
.perform(RecyclerViewActions.actionOnItemAtPosition(0, click()));`

But I need to click on a specific view inside that item and not on the item itself.

To be more precise: I have a **RecyclerView** (`R.id.recycler_view`) which items are **CardView** (`R.id.card_view`). Inside each **CardView** I have four buttons (amongst other things) and I want to click on a specific button (`R.id.bt_deliver`).

I would like to use the new features of Espresso 2.0, but I&#39;m not sure that is possible.

If not possible, I wanna use something like this (using Thomas Keller code):

    onRecyclerItemView(R.id.card_view, ???, withId(R.id.bt_deliver)).perform(click());

but I don&#39;t know what to put on the question marks.

I have tried:

 - Clean project 
 - Rebuild project
 - Restart Android Studio
 - Sync gradle

But without success. How am I to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

**EDIT 1**

I changed the location of each flavors `AndroidManifest.xml` file from each of the `res` folders to `free` and `pro` folder. The result of this:

 1. Pro flavor shows Licence permission as expected.
 2. Free flavor shows permissions from both `AndroidManifest.xml`
    files, License and network permissions (Should be only network)

This feels like an issue of project structure. What to make of this?

Android Studio two flavors with different manifest files

I have reading [Material Design Guidelines][1] but I don&#39;t know what should be the color of the Ripple if it isn&#39;t black (with alpha).

For example, I have an app with colorPrimary = blue, and colorAccent = red. Actually I am using the colorAccent (with alpha), I should use colorPrimary (with alpha) if I want a color different of black to the ripple?

I checked all app of Google but they never use ripples with color.

I recently found out that the lombok.jar ends up in our final artifact, which shouldn&#39;t be necessary. In my understanding lombok is compile-time only.

Required arguments with a Lombok @Builder

I have a Gradle-based project that uses lombok. I have imported this project into IntelliJ IDEA 14.1 (using the _Import External Model_ import method). I can run the JUnit4 unit tests without problem in Gradle, but IntelliJ seems to have a problem seeing the Lombok generated Getters. This is preventing me from running the tests in IDEA. 

To make sure it wasn&#39;t a set up issue, I created a [Very simple project][1] and confirmed that the same issue occurs in the simple test project.


My versions:
Gradle: gradle-2.3-all via Gradle wrapper&lt;br/&gt;
Intellij IDEA: IU-141.713&lt;br/&gt;
Lombok Plugin: 0.9.2

What am I missing here?

What I want is some way to actually see the source lombok generates for each of the methods. 1. added the plugin under __Settings__ - __Plugins__ (version 0.13.16)

3. enabled annotation processing

It still doesn&#39;t recognize either the Lombok import or the annotations.

I had to run an update on my Gradle file.

Adding Lombok plugin to IntelliJ project

Tech Stack being used : 

Java 8
MapStruct : 1.2.0.Final
Lombok: 1.16.18
IDE: IntelliJ - Lombok Plugin already installed 

 - Initially, I faced issues when I removed getters and setters and added `@Getter` and `@Setter` annotation, `mapstruct` is not able to find the property and says: `Unknown property &quot;id&quot; in result type com.vg.once.dto.OneDto. Did you mean &quot;null&quot;?`
 - I came to know that Lombok 1.16.14 or newer along with MapStruct 1.2.0.Beta1 or newer are compatible and can work together, but my versions are newer then the desired still the issue is arising.
 - One more solution that I have already tried is running Lombok&#39;s Delombok plugin, but still, the same issue is arising.

please share how can i get this working using both Lombok and MapStruct together?

MapStruct and Lombok not working together

I have the following class:

    @Builder @NoArgsConstructor
    public class ConsultationPointOfContact {
        private String fullName;
        private String phoneNumber;
        private String userLogin;   
    }

When the `@Builder` annotation exists, it is causing problems with the `@NoArgsConstructor`.

I am getting the error:

    Error:(11, 1) java: constructor ConsultationPointOfContact in class models.ConsultationPointOfContact cannot be applied to given types;
      required: no arguments
      found: java.lang.String,java.lang.String,java.lang.String
      reason: actual and formal argument lists differ in length
