Here&#39;s some ansible code to enable long paths to avoid all that clicking in @magicandre1981 answer. This was tested on Windows Server 2016, it should work on Windows 10 too.

Yes it does still exist.  Just ran into an issue now and the usual method of mapping a network drive to it to shorten the path didn&#39;t seem to let me open the files, but it would let me rename and move them.

As far as I know, this would work in Objective-C:

Ok...I dont know where module `x` is, but I know that I need to get the path to the directory two levels up.

So, is there a more elegant way to do:

I gather there is (despite the lack of documentation) [a way][1] to set [Git attributes][2] globally; but I&#39;m not clear where to place the necessary `gitattributes` file. The [instructions][3] say they belong in

    $(prefix)/etc/gitattributes

But where is `$(prefix)`? In particular, where would it be for OS X (with Git in `/usr/local/git/bin/git`)? Alternately (or in addition)  would `~/.gitattributes` [work][4]?

Where should I place my global &#39;gitattributes&#39; file?

I am trying to edit an entry to PATH, as I did something wrong.

I am using [Mac&amp;nbsp;OS&amp;nbsp;X v10.10.3][1] (Yosemite)

I have tried:

    touch ~/.bash_profile; open ~/.bash_profile

But the file editor opens with nothing inside.

My problem:

I am trying to install ANDROID_HOME to my PATH

I misspelled it, but when I closed the terminal and went back it was gone, so I tried again:

&gt;     export ANDROID_HOME=/&lt;installation location&gt;/android-sdk-macosx
&gt;     export PATH=${PATH}:$ANDROID_HOME/tools:$ANDROID_HOME/platform-tools

This time, I typed the command correctly but, when I closed the terminal, my settings disappeared again.

How do I execute my desired settings?

If I was to edit bash.profile, how would I enter the above code?

I am using [gulp-karma](https://github.com/karma-runner/gulp-karma) and facing a simple problem but cannot seems to find what i am doing wrong .

Here is the code i am using and i cannot seems to go 1 level back in the folder directory . When i do the above it just **append** the `..\` to the folder direcotry without going 1 level back (which is the usual use of `..\`). Following is the folder structure . 

    parent|
          test|karma.conf.js
          webapirole|gulpfile.js


and my folder is inside the **webapirole** folder . i want to go back 1 folder back and go inisde the **test** folder which contains the karma.conf.js file. can anyone make me understand what i am doing wrong here ?

How to reference a html template from a different directory in python flask

For pagination purposes, I need a run a query with the `LIMIT` and `OFFSET` clauses. But I also need a count of the number of rows that would be returned by that query without the `LIMIT` and `OFFSET` clauses.

I want to run:

    SELECT * FROM table WHERE /* whatever */ ORDER BY col1 LIMIT ? OFFSET ?

And:

    SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table WHERE /* whatever */

At the same time.  Is there a way to do that, particularly a way that lets Postgres optimize it, so that it&#39;s faster than running both individually?

Lately I have been using GitHub and I am wondering what is the repository size limit for files hosted on github.com?  I have been wondering this because I was thinking of using GitLab, since it allows 10 GB for each repository.

Of course a 64 or more nested `for` loops would be not handy to debug, but is it doable?

How do you open IIS (Internet Information Services) Manager using Windows 10?

I have installed the developer preview of Windows 10 and can&#39;t seem to find IIS Manager?  It is not in Control Panel &gt; Administrative Tools.

When I browse to the 

&gt; folder C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv

 it is empty.

I did a full search of my hard drive to find inetmgr.exe and found three copies and none of them would open, when I tried to open them it says &quot;This App cannot Run on your PC&quot;  To find a version of the App that works contact the publisher.

I know IIS works because I have ran local ASP.net apps through VisualStudio, but I can&#39;t seem to find any way to launch IIS Manager to do some configurations for a site.

Anyone know anything about this?

I need to open URL in Microsoft Edge (on Windows 10). When I invoke

    start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftEdge http://www.google.com

then Microsoft Edge is started correctly but it doesn&#39;t open the given URL (www.google.com, in this case). It opens Bing search where the given URL is used as a search term instead.
