I am looking at some PostgreSQL table creation and I stumbled upon this:

The table has 4 billion rows. I don&#39;t expect this query to be fast, but after about 5mins, it fails with an overflow error. Is there a `COUNT` function for bigger data than int?

Using `SQL Server 2008`, I have a query that is used to create a view and I&#39;m trying to display a **month&#39;s name** instead of an integer. 

In my database, the `datetime` is in a column called `OrderDateTime`. The lines in the query that return the date is:

    DATENAME(yyyy, S0.OrderDateTime) AS OrderYear,
    DATEPART(MONTH, S0.OrderDateTime) AS OrderMonth

This returns a column of years and a column of months as integers. I want to return the month names `(Jan, Feb, etc`). I&#39;ve tried:

    CONVERT(varchar(3), DATEPART(MONTH, S0.OrderDateTime) AS OrderMonth

This is obviously is incorrect, as I get 

&gt; Incorrect syntax near &#39;AS&#39;

 message. What is the proper syntax for my query?

I have a table variable in a script (not a stored procedure).  Two questions:

 1. How do I drop the table variable?  Drop Table @varName gives an &quot;Incorrect snytax&quot; error.

I have a query that I am running in SQL Server Management Studio (connecting to a SQL Server 2005 database). I want to export the data in CSV format. Not wannabe CSV format, where you just stick a comma between each column, but &quot;real&quot; CSV format, where you put quotes around your strings. This way you can export data that has commas or quotes in it.

All the examples I see limit themselves to the wannabe format. I can&#39;t figure out where the option to quote strings is.

If SSMS is truly incapable of this basic feat, are there other tools that will do it easily? I don&#39;t want to have to write a C# program every time I need a data dump.

I&#39;m new to SQL Server, so this is probably an easy fix.  In SQL Server 2008 R2, I&#39;ve just imported a new data table and/or renamed fields in an existing table (it happens either way).  When I start to write some SQL, the intellisense doesn&#39;t recognize the new field names and starts underlining everything.

The only fix I&#39;ve found is to close and reopen SQL Server, but I&#39;m sure there&#39;s a simpler solution out there. Suggestions please?

(This isn&#39;t a serious problem, just a pet peeve).

I&#39;m trying to write a script that will completely empty a SQL Server database. This is what I have so far:

    EXEC sp_msforeachtable &#39;ALTER TABLE ? NOCHECK CONSTRAINT all&#39;
    EXEC sp_msforeachtable &#39;DELETE ?&#39;

When I run it in the Management Studio, I get:

but when I refresh the table list, they are all still there. What am I doing wrong?
