**You can change your Github account name at any time.** 

To do this, click your profile picture &gt; `Settings` &gt; `Account Settings` &gt; `Change Username`.

Links to your repositories will redirect to the new URLs, but they should be updated on other sites because someone who chooses your abandoned username can override the links. Links to your profile page will be 404&#39;d.

And furthermore, if you want to change your username to something else, but that specific username is being taken up by someone else who has been completely inactive for the entire time their account has existed, you can report their account for name squatting.

I am a beginner to CMAKE. Below is a simple cmake file which works well in mingw environment windows. The problem is clearly with `target_link_libraries()` function of CMAKE where I am linking libwsock32.a. In windows this works and I get the results. 

However, as expected, in Linux, the `/usr/bin/ld` will look for `-lwsock32` which is NOT there on the Linux OS. 

My Problem is: How do I instruct CMAKE to avoid linking wsock32 library in Linux OS???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would like to built API-centric website - service. So (in the beginning) I would have an API in center and **website** (PHP + MySQL) would connect via **cURL**, **Android** and **iPhone** via their network interfaces. So 3 main clients - 3 API keys. And any other developer could also develop via API interface and they would get their own API key. API actions would be accepted/rejected based on userLevel status, if I&#39;m an admin I can delete anything etc., all other can manipulate only their local (account) data.

I read about getting a token via `api.example.org/auth` after (via **HTTPS**, HTTP Basic) posting my username and password and then forward it on every following request. This code is supposed to hash a password with a salt.  The salt and hashed password are being saved in the database.  The password itself is not.

Given the sensitive nature of the operation, I wanted to make sure everything was kosher.

Any idea how to setup such a redirect, if it&#39;s even possible? Is it a bug? If it is, where should I open an issue?

I have a `.classpath` file which is currently in GIT repository.

After I pulled from remove repository(`git pull origin master`). How can I remove this file from GIT control, I mean `NOT to delete` this file from my computer **but** remove it from GIT version control. (Because this file is not needed for version control).

I tried `git rm &lt;path-to&gt;/.classpath` , but then my whole project complains about wrong class path, why git rm delete my file instead of remove from version control ???
