Use `&#39;auto dealer&#39;` instead. PostgreSQL interprets `&quot;` as being quotes for identifiers, `&#39;` as being quotes for strings.

Also:

 - If this is a new project, just don&#39;t use mixed case tables; it is a
   source of frustration later. Instead of being able to use any case in
   your SQL statements, you must both quote the identifier name and get
   the case correct.
   
 - There is no need to specify `id`/`DEFAULT`, you&#39;re
   asking it to do what it would have done already. I haven&#39;t met a DBMS
   that requires you to include `columnName`/`DEFAULT` if you want it to
   put the default value in the column, so I don&#39;t think this extra KV
   pair is going to make what is happening clearer to anyone reading
   your code later.

    INSERT INTO &quot;imageTagBusinessMainCategory&quot;
    (&quot;businessMainCategory&quot;)
    VALUES

Postgres, Oracle etc expect the column name to be in quotes if they have mixed case. So either create a convention of all small or all caps for your table columns or use quotes as David Faber suggested

On my case I had to change column name from camelCase ```&#39;isAdmin&#39;``` to snake_case ```&#39;is_admin&#39;```.

Assume I have an object:

    var obj = {

I need to access a property of that object dynamically like so:

    var objSetter = function(prop,val){
      obj[prop] = val;
    }

No problems there, except for that `prop` needs to be case insensitive in case the property name is passed into the function as, say, `Foo` instead of `foo`.

So how can I point to an object&#39;s property by name without regard to case?  I would like to avoid iterating the entire object if possible.

What is the `capacity()` of an `std::vector` which is created using the default constuctor? I know that the `size()` is zero. Can we state that a default constructed vector does not call heap memory allocation?

This way it would be possible to create an array with an arbitrary reserve using a single allocation, like `std::vector&lt;int&gt; iv; iv.reserve(2345);`. Let&#39;s say that for some reason, I do not want to start the `size()` on 2345.

In DB I have a column for date, from that I need to extract the year.

How would I select all dates within this year for example?

I know I could do something like this:

    select * FROM reservations WHERE extract(year from arrival) = 2012;

But I&#39;ve ran **analyze** and it looks like it require a sequence scan. 
Is there a better option?

**P.S. 1 Hmm. both ways seem to require seq. scan. But the one by wildplasser produces results faster - why?**

Psql list all tables

I am using bulk_create to loads thousands or rows into a postgresql DB. Unfortunately some of the rows are causing IntegrityError and stoping the bulk_create process. I was wondering if there was a way to tell django to ignore such rows and save as much of the batch as possible?
