I know that the Angular-UI team has worked hard to remove all jQuery and Bootstrap dependencies from their code, the same as Angular Strap. They both support Bootstrap 3x so you gain nothing by going with a specific library from that perspective either. It really comes down to what features are implemented between the two.

If there are features you need that Angular Strap has that Angular-UI doesn&#39;t go with Angular Strap. The same can be said for Angular-UI. It really gets down to which one best fits your development.



I think I followed all steps which I have found so far but the download link for my alpha test isn&#39;t working.

I uploaded the app 3 days ago, created a google group and added the group to the list of alpha testers.

I invited a few members and the app status shows published, after clicking on the link I can signup as alpha tester, but when I click on &quot;Download &lt;testapp&gt; from the Play Store&quot; the error message &quot;We&#39;re sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server&quot; comes.

Did I miss an additional step? Do I have to grant some special rights to the group members somehow?

--- update can this be caused by the permissions of the app?
under the apk info in the developer console I can see:

    functions:
    android.hardware.LOCATION
    android.hardware.location.GPS
    android.hardware.location.NETWORK
    android.hardware.TOUCHSCREEN

I am trying to set the text color using css in a jinja2 template.  In the following code  I want to set the output string to print in a specific font color if the variable contains a string.  Everytime the template is generated though it prints in red due to the else statement, it never see the first two conditions even though the output should be matched, I can tell what the output from the variable is when the table generates and it is as expected.  I know my css is correct due to the printing of the string in red by default.

My first thought was to enclose the string I was checking for in quotes but that didn&#39;t work.  Next was that jinja was not expanding `RepoOutput[RepoName.index(repo)]` but the for loop above it works, `RepoName` is expanded upon properly.  I know if I add the braces it will print the variable which I am fairly certain will either break the template or just not work.

I tried looking at these sites and went through the list of global expressions as well but couldn&#39;t find any examples similar to mine or a direction in which to look further.

So currently I&#39;m using [Angular UI Bootstrap][1] but I&#39;ve noticed [Angular-Strap][2] has been re-written to not be jQuery wrapped directives.  

Going through the new code of Angular-Strap I&#39;ve noticed some pretty nice improvements such as touch and more enhanced functionality over Angular UI.  Angular Experts, what is your current perspective on the two at the moment?

Is it possible in Angular to validate a single, isolated `&lt;input&gt;` in a similar way the forms are validated? I&#39;m thinking about something like this:

I&#39;m using the angular-ui-router library and I have a problem with URLs.

I have the following code:

I have an `input` field, where I want to apply the variant of `ngChange`. 

The `input` field is sort of binding with an ajax call, when user changes the input, the server side will process the data, however, I don&#39;t wanna make the call too often. 

Say the user wanna input a really string, I want the call be made only after user finishes the word he is about to type. 
Nevertheless, I don&#39;t wanna use event such as blur. What would be a better way to implement this, rather than `setTimeout`? 

How can I make angularjs ngChange handler be called only when user finishes typing

I am new to AngularJS and find it very interesting, but I am a bit unclear about the following situation.

First off, I&#39;m no pro.

In my quest to become a better developer I am trying to understand what is needed and how to accomplish creating a sign-up/login for an Ionic-Framework app.

Most of the single-page-applications (SPAs) handle authentication on a node server that is also serving up the HTML for the client. In my case the phone itself will be serving up the HTML so I am guessing I may be going up against some CORs issues.

I understand that the Ionic-Framework uses states and based [angular-client-side-auth][1] repo I should be authenticating whenever I am changing states in my app.

I have an initial app setup but now I am kind of confused where to go from here.

The tools I have at my disposal:

 - Node.JS Server -Thanks DigitalOcean (Should I be using this as a proxy to my DB?)
 - CouchDB server (Full stack here we come)

**Questions of mine:**

 

 1. What is the standard approach for authenticating when using hybrid apps?
 2. Should I be using Node.JS as a proxy to the database?
 3. Should I skip node.js and authenticate directly with the CouchDB server? (I&#39;ve heard of this)
 4. Am I going about this all the wrong way?
 5. What are my potential road-blocks? 
 6. How does CORS work with hybrid applications?
 7. Anything I&#39;m missing?
