So, you are done.

If it still doesn&#39;t work, unplug/replug the device.

If it still doesn&#39;t work, restart your OS.

I don&#39;t know the reason behind this issue. But a temporary fix would be to set the phone to **File Transfer mode** or **MTP mode**.

The problem with this fix is that you&#39;ll need to set the mode from charging mode to File transfer mode or MTP mode every time the cable is connected.

I am sending a post request in Dart. It is giving a response when I test it on API testing tools such as Postman. But when I run the app. It gives me the following error:-

I am trying to build an application which was built using java 8, now it&#39;s upgraded to java 11. I installed [Java 11][1] using [an oracle article][2] in my **windows machine** and I use **IntelliJ IDEA 2017** as my IDE.

I changed my system environment variables and set the 

    JAVA_HOME to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.1
And added that to the `Path` variable.

    C:\&gt;java -version

When I build my application in IntelliJ, this is what I get:

This is what I&#39;ve tried so far:

 1. I changed `.idea/compiler.xml` target values from 8 to 11 but that didn&#39;t help. Also, verified the `Target bytecode version` in `settings &gt; Build, Execution, Deployment &gt; Compiler &gt; Java Compiler` and all my modules are set to 11. 

 2. Went to `file &gt; Project Structure &gt; SDKs *(currently I have 1.7 and 1.7 listed)* &gt; Add new SDK &gt; JDK &gt;`
After that, I selected `C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.1` But it errors out with &quot;The selected directory is not a valid home for JDK&quot;

I am not sure if I installed the wrong JDK 11, because in my `C:\Program Files\Java\`, I see separate JDK and JRE folders for `1.7` and `1.8` but only JDK folder for `11.0.1`

Or is it something else I need to change?

**Summary**

I would like to know how to kill every single gradle daemon and process running on a machine regardless of the version of gradle or the version of the daemon, but the &quot;--kill&quot; or &quot;--stop&quot; command will only stop those processes that match the same version of gradle. 


**Use case**

My CI build box will have several gradle daemons running with different versions (because I&#39;m a good boy that uses the wrapper to execute builds). Occasionally I will find issues with caching or incremental builds, and as a precaution I like to kill the daemons. The same is true for my development boxes, although the conflicts are more often with whichever VCS or IDE I am using.

**What I am looking for**

 1. I&#39;m hoping there is a flag or property I am missing that I could
    pass to gradle to do this in a simple one line command, but if it&#39;s
    simple enough I would be ok with more. 
 2. No scripting (looping,
    if-else etc). 
 3. Killing all java processes is **not** acceptable.

Recently I switched to the Java 11 and start to debug my app and saw this message:

Do I need to worry about it?

I&#39;ve successfully completed the publishing process for an APK to the Internal Test Track.
But when I try to view the App for download on the Google Play Store using the &quot;VIEW ON GOOGLE PLAY&quot; link in the screenshot below...

Google App is Published on Internal Test Track but Can&#39;t Be Found/Downloaded

Looking at the [Google docs][1] for `ViewModel`, they show the below sample code on how to get a `ViewModel`:

When using the latest dependency `android.arch.lifecycle:extensions:1.1.1` there is no such class `ViewModelProviders`.

Going to the [documentation][2] for `ViewModelProviders`, I saw a comment saying:

&gt; This class was deprecated in API level 1.1.0. Use ViewModelProvider.AndroidViewModelFactory  

The problem is, when trying to use `ViewModelProvider.AndroidViewModelFactory`, cannot find an equivalent `of` method to get the instance of the `ViewModel`.

What i tried doing:

    ViewModelProvider.AndroidViewModelFactory.getInstance(application).create(PlayerViewHolder::class.java)

Hence the name of the method `create`, I get a new instance of the ViewModel every-time I call it, which is not what I am after.

Any ideas what is the replacement of deprecated code above?

I installed via `apt-get install android-sdk`.

However, doing a `find / -name sdkmanager` reveals there is no such binary anywhere on the system.

On my Mac, the binary exists in `$ANDROID_HOME/tools/bin`.

However, on the Ubuntu system (the system with the issue), the binary does not exist there:

    $ ls $ANDROID_HOME/tools/bin
    e2fsck
    fsck.ext4
    mkfs.ext4
    resize2fs

We have a daemon that contains a lot of print messages. Since we are working on an embedded device with a weak CPU and other constraint hardware, we want to minimize any kinds of costs (IO, CPU, etc..) of printf messages in our final version. (Users don&#39;t have a console)

My teammate and I have a disagreement. He thinks we can just redirect everything to /dev/null. It won&#39;t cost any IO so affections will be minimal. But I think it will still cost CPU and we better define a macro for printf so we can rewrite &quot;printf&quot; (maybe just return).

So I need some opinions about who is right. Will Linux be smart enough to optimize printf? I really doubt it.

I am trying to install virtualenv on Ubuntu. 

First it said `command &#39;pip&#39; not found`, so I typed

How to fix &quot;[SEVERE]: bind() failed: Cannot assign requested address (99)&quot; while starting chromedriver

I am running Dotnet Core 2.2 in a Linux container in Docker.

I&#39;ve tried many different configuration/environment options - but I keep coming back to the same problem of running out of memory (&#39;docker events&#39; reports an OOM).


In production I&#39;m hosting on Ubuntu. For Development, I&#39;m using a Linux container (MobyLinux) on Docker in Windows.

I&#39;ve gone back to running the Web API template project, rather than my actual app. I am literally returning a string and doing nothing else. If I call it about 1,000 times from curl, the container will die. The garbage collector does not appear to be working at all.


Tried setting the following environment variables in the docker-compose:

    DOTNET_RUNNING_IN_CONTAINER=true
    DOTNET_SYSTEM_GLOBALIZATION_INVARIANT=true
    ASPNETCORE_preventHostingStartup=true


Also tried the following in the docker-compose:

    mem_reservation: 128m
    mem_limit: 256m
    memswap_limit: 256m

(these only make it die faster)

Tried setting the following to true or false, no difference:

    ServerGarbageCollection


I have tried instead running as a Windows container, this doesn&#39;t OOM - but it does not seem to respect the memory limits either.


I have already ruled out use of HttpClient and EF Core - as I&#39;m not even using them in my example. I have read a bit about listening on port 443 as a problem - as I can leave the container running idle all day long, if I check at the end of the day - it&#39;s used up some more memory (not a massive amount, but it grows).

I&#39;m running Docker CE Engine 18.0.9.1 on Windows and 18.06.1 on Ubuntu. To confirm - I have also tried in Dotnet Core 2.1.

I&#39;ve also given it a try in IIS Express - the process gets to around 55MB, that&#39;s literally spamming it with multiple threads, etc.

When they&#39;re all done, it goes down to around 29-35MB.

```adb remount``` does not work correctly on api 29 when running from the emulator.  The command works fine on all other emulators that have been tried (18, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28).
