We have integrated invisible recaptcha in one of our websites. Whenever we submit the form it automatically submits. 

I read in some google groups that we would get a challenge when accessed on edge browser. But for us, it is automatically submitted. 

Any specific steps to test the invisible recaptcha?

**This post refers to Google ReCaptcha v2 (not the latest version)**

Recently Google introduced a simplified &quot;captcha&quot; verification system ([video][1]) that enables users to pass the &quot;captcha&quot; just by clicking on it.

But how can it differentiate a bot from a person just by a click?

As per [this answer][2], (assuming a similar implementation), at first &quot;recaptcha&quot; generates a hidden key and attaches it to a hidden input element and also lazily renders a check box (not an actual check box `input` but a `div`) with the same key which when clicked, sends an asynchronous request (XHR) to the Google backend servers to mark it as a valid verification key (i.e. a key that has to be validated when the form is submitted).

But why can&#39;t bots automate that click (at least, browser-based bots)?

How does Google reCAPTCHA v2 work behind the scenes?

I have managed to get ReCaptcha 2.0 working in my website. However, it&#39;s only working when I don&#39;t use AJAX and I let the form submit &quot;naturally&quot;.

ReCaptcha 2.0 With AJAX

I&#39;m using Google reCAPTCHA and have been able to add the CAPTCHA component to my page inside a form. But when I submit the form there&#39;s no validation taking place to check if the CAPTCHA has been solved.

How do I validate that the CAPTCHA component has been solved when submitting my form? Or, in other words, how do I make my CAPTCHA component required?

In a few words: I would like to check server-side, with the [remote method][3], if the user has passed the recaptcha validation BEFORE submitting the form, along with other rules of validation.

I&#39;m able to check the recaptcha *AFTER* submission (on sendmail.php), but it would be nicer to have the recaptcha validation response along with other fields validation.

The main reason is for a better user experience, having all fields checked at once.

I&#39;ve managed to achieve this, moving the check inside the submitHandler:

But I don&#39;t like this approach, for 2 reasons:

 1. It is just checking if the recaptcha has been filled, not if it&#39;s valid, and
 2. User feels like it is a 2 step verification.

[In this answer][4] they say it can be done rendering the Recaptcha on a callback, to specify a function call on a successful CAPTCHA response.

I tried to implement that, but I&#39;ve not been able to use this solution within a rule of the validate() function.

New reCaptcha with jQuery Validation Plugin

I am using recaptcha with my laravel application.

I just want to check recaptcha&#39;s response on form submit using jquery and stop user by alert that pleade validate captcha.

How can I validate google reCAPTCHA v2 using javascript/jQuery?

I have not had much success finding how to style Google&#39;s new recaptcha (v2). The eventual goal is to make it responsive, but I am having difficulty applying styling for even simple things like width.

Their [API documentation][1] does not appear to give any specifics on how to control styling at all other than the _theme_ parameter, and simple CSS &amp; JavaScript solutions haven&#39;t worked for me.

Basically, I need to be able to apply CSS to Google&#39;s new version of reCaptcha. Using JavaScript with it is acceptable.

ReCaptcha API v2 Styling

I have 2 forms on a single page.  One of the forms has a recaptcha displaying all the time.  The other should display a recaptcha only after a certain event such as maxing out login attempts.  So there are times when I would need 2 recaptchas to appear on the same page.  Is this possible?  I know I could probably use a single one for both, but the way I have the layout, I would much prefer to have 2.  Thanks.

**Update:** well I guess it may not be possible.  Can anybody recommend another capture library to use side by side with reCaptcha?  I really want to be able to have 2 captchas on the same page.

**Update 2:** What if put each form in an iframe?  Would this be an acceptable solution?

How do I show multiple recaptchas on a single page?

We&#39;ve just started to implement the new google recaptcha as listed https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

However the new method seems to be contained within an iFrame rather than embedded into the page thus making applying CSS more difficult.

However we&#39;ve got our form which is 400px wide so would like to have the recaptcha the same width.

Currently it looks like, however we&#39;d like it the same with as the rest.

Does anybody know how to do this yet?

I have added the following before end of head

HOwever, when user presses data without checking the checkbox, the data is submitted. Is there any other code I need to add to check if user has pressed the checkbox? Hopefully in js?

I have this script in the `head` tag:

I have confirmed that this is the correct site key for my domain.

The exact same code works 100% in a different domain (with a key specific to that domain).  
What could be the problem?

Searching on the internet, probably the problem is the `.reset()` function, but I do not understand the solution.

Google reCaptcha response &quot;Uncaught (in promise) null&quot;

I&#39;m developing a website using PHP and I want to make a human verification in one of the sessions. For the development, I&#39;m initially running the system locally and when it is ready, I&#39;m going to put it on some domain.

In the [reCAPTCHA website][1] it is said that the plugin will only work at the given domain (and subdomains).

Is there a way to use the reCAPTCHA plugin on a localhost?

Using reCAPTCHA on localhost

As I have been testing sites, I have found [reCAPTCHA][1]s getting more and more difficult to read. Is it just me or are others having this problem too?

Along with this, I had a user this morning complain about receiving a Bristish Pound character in their reCAPTCHA. Of course the user didn&#39;t know what to do, even though I have message stating they can click the reload/refresh icon to get a new CAPTCHA.

Unfortunately, this implementation is on a site often used by people over 60 years of age, so more complicated or confusing CAPTCHAs are a problem, but the site still receives a lot of people attempting to produce spam.

Are reCAPTCHA CAPTCHAs getting harder or is just me

I&#39;m looking for a replacement for JCaptcha, which doesn&#39;t seem to be maintained any more, and isn&#39;t very good to begin with. The replacement has to integrate nicely with JavaEE webapps.

As I can see it, there are three options:

 - JCaptcha - No longer maintained, crude API
 - SimpleCaptcha - much nicer API, nicer captchas, but seems to be Java6 only
 - ReCaptcha - easy to use, uses remote web-service to generate captchas, but not much control over look and feel

Has anyone used any others, that they&#39;d recommend?

Recommendations for java captcha libraries

I&#39;m implementing an invisible reCAPTCHA as per the instructions in the documentation: [reCAPTCHA V2 documentation][1]

I&#39;ve managed to implement it without any problems. But, what I&#39;d like to know is whether I can simulate being a robot for testing purposes?

Is there a way to force the reCAPTCHA to respond as if it thought I was a robot?

Is it possible to force fail a recaptcha v2 for testing purposes? (I.e. pretend to be a robot)

Recently, Google completely overhauled their reCaptcha API and simplified it to a single checkbox.

The problem is, I can submit a form with the reCaptcha included without checking it and the form will ignore the reCaptcha.

Before you had to send the form to a PHP file with the private key et al, but I&#39;m not seeing any mention of that in their Developer&#39;s Guide. I have no idea how to validate the form to be sure the new reCaptcha was filled by the user.

Am I missing something? Is that PHP file with the private key still required?

How to Validate Google reCaptcha on Form Submit

After a few hours of research and trial and error, I was finally able to add the new Google No Capatcha re Capatcha to my form and get it working, but for some reason, it won&#39;t center. Any ideas?
