I have a 2-dimensional array of objects and I basically want to databind each one to a cell in a WPF grid.  Currently I have this working but I am doing most of it procedurally.  I create the correct number of row and column definitions, then I loop through the cells and create the controls and set up the correct bindings for each one.  

At a minimum I would like to be able to use a template to specify the controls and bindings in xaml.  Ideally I would like to get rid of the procedural code and just do it all with databinding, but I&#39;m not sure that&#39;s possible.

Here is the code I am currently using:

How to populate a WPF grid based on a 2-dimensional array

I am trying to create a grid of buttons(in order to achieve the clickable cell effect) with Tkinter. 

My main problem is that I cannot make the `grid` and the buttons autoresize and fit the parent window. 

For example, when I have a high number of buttons on the grid, instead of shrinking the buttons so that the grid fits inside the window, I get a stretched frame that goes off screen.

The effect that I am looking for is the grid filling all available space, then resizing its cells to fit within that space. I have read at the documentation, but I still cannot figure out how to make it work. 

This is the basic code which is my starting point:

I have a card built with CSS Grid layout. There might be an image to the left, some text to the right top and maybe a button or a link at the right bottom.

How to center column and row item in Flutter?

I want to programmatically configure a wpf grid. 

I want to be able to set a grid with 2 columns, the first taking up 20% of available space, the second taking up 80%. In xaml I would use the * operator but I cant work out how to do this programmatically. 

In Xaml I would do:

I have to use a Grid to implement Photo Browser in Android.
So, I would like to know the **difference between GridView and GridLayout**.

So that I shall choose the right one. 

Currently I&#39;m using GridView to display the images dynamically.

Nested rows with bootstrap grid system?

I have a table that is created using ng-repeat. I want to add validation to each element in the table. The problem is that each input cell has the same name as the cell above and below it. I attempted to use the `{{$index}}` value to name the inputs, but despite the string literals in HTML appearing correct, it is now working.

I have tried removing the `{{}}` from index, but that does not work either. As of now, the validation property of the input is working correctly, but the error message is not displayed.

How to validate inputs dynamically created using ng-repeat, ng-show (angular)

In Matplotlib, I make dashed grid lines as follows:

    fig = pylab.figure()	
    ax = fig.add_subplot(1,1,1)
    ax.yaxis.grid(color=&#39;gray&#39;, linestyle=&#39;dashed&#39;)

however, I can&#39;t find out how (or even if it is possible) to make the grid lines be drawn behind other graph elements, such as bars. Changing the order of adding the grid versus adding other elements makes no difference. 

Is it possible to make it so that the grid lines appear behind everything else?

**Is it easily possible to specify a margin and/or padding for rows or columns in a WPF Grid?**

I could of course add extra columns to space things out, but this seems like a job for padding/margins (it will give *much* simplier XAML). Has someone derived from the standard Grid to add this functionality?

WPF: Grid with column/row margin/padding?

For example, I have some class .article, and I want to view this class as grid view. So I applied this style:

I have a simple WPF form with a `Grid` declared on the form. This `Grid` has a bunch of rows:

The row named `rowToHide` contains a few input fields and I want to hide this row after I detect I don&#39;t need these fields. It&#39;s simple enough to just set `Visibility = Hidden` to all items in the row, but the row still takes up space in the `Grid`. I tried setting `Height = 0` to the items, but that didn&#39;t seem to work.

You can think of it like this: You have a form, in there you have a drop down saying &quot;Payment Type&quot;, and if the person selects &quot;Cash&quot;, you want to hide the row containing the Card details. It isn&#39;t an option to start the form with this hidden already.

Hide grid row in WPF

I am trying to plot counts in gridded plots, but I haven&#39;t been able to figure out how to go about it.

I want:

1. to have dotted grids at an interval of 5;

2. to have major tick labels only every 20;

3. for the ticks to be outside the plot; and

4. to have &quot;counts&quot; inside those grids.

I have checked for potential duplicates, such as [here][1] and [here][2], but have not been able to figure it out.

Equal width columns in CSS Grid

I have a class

    class Person{
          public string Name {get; set;}
          public string Surname {get; set;}
    }

and a `List&lt;Person&gt;` to which I add some items. The list is bound to my `DataGridView`.

There is no problem. `myGrid` displays two rows, but when I add new items to my `persons` list, `myGrid` does not show new updated list. It only shows the two rows which I added before.

So what is the problem?

Rebinding every time works well. But when I bind a `DataTable` to the grid when every time when I make some changes to `DataTable` there is not any need to ReBind `myGrid`.  

How to solve it without rebinding every time?

Is there any way to resize a [jqGrid][1] when the browser window is resized? I have tried the method described [here][2] but that technique does not work in IE7.

Resize jqGrid when browser is resized?

I have just received the following design for a project, for an image grid gallery, with dynamic width &amp; height images (user submitted images). (Screenshot at the end of post)

I have tried [jQuery Masonry][1], [Tympanus Automatic Image Montage][2] and [CSS-Tricks Seemless Responsive Photo Grid][3], but each has their limitation.

 - Jquery Masonry allows for both width and height to be dynamic, however there are gaps generated
 - The latter 2 scripts, generate very nice grids, but with the problem that either width or height must be static

**EDIT:** i came across, [Isotope][4], which is almost perfect and i will probably end up using it, unless there&#39;s something that fixes my needs exactly. Therefore my question still remains the same...

Is there any javascript (preferably jQuery) script that can generate a completely dynamic mosaic (in respect to image size), like the one in the screenshot below?

Mosaic Grid gallery with dynamic sized images

With the CSS Grid Layout Module soon shipping in Firefox and Chrome, I thought that I&#39;d try to get a handle of how to use it.

I&#39;ve tried to create a simple grid with one item `a` spanning the left side of all of the rows, with the other items (`b`, `c`, `d`, `e`, etc.) spanning the right side of individual rows. The amount of items spanning the right side of the rows is variable, so there might be any combination of `b`, `c`, `d`, `e`, etc., so I&#39;m using the `grid-auto-rows` property. As such, I cannot define a fixed number of rows for `a` to span, but I would like `a` to span *all* available rows.

What does RowDefinition Height=&quot;10*&quot; mean in a XAML Grid?

Is it possible to create a pinterest Layout with Twitter Bootstrap only?
I know there are jQuery Plugins like Masonry, but is there no way without them?

Does anyone know of a GUI design app that lets you choose/drag/drop the widgets, and then turn that layout into Python code with the appropriate Tkinter calls &amp; arrangement using the `grid` geometry manager?  So far I&#39;ve turned up a couple of pretty nice options that I may end up using, but they generate code using either `pack` or `place` instead.

Before you say it:  Yes, I know Tkinter is easy to learn, and Yes, I&#39;ve found multiple online sources to help me do so, and I&#39;m already on my way with that.  This isn&#39;t about avoiding the effort of learning, it&#39;s about using the right tool for the job.  I found out a long time ago that those drag-and-drop widget environments for coding program logic, are just too klunky and unmanageable when the project gets beyond a certain size -- for bigger stuff, it&#39;s just easier to build and maintain the logic when it&#39;s in plain text.  More recently I&#39;ve found out that the reverse is true for designing a GUI.  Writing text works up to a point, but when you have a main window with 30 or 40 widgets, plus a couple of side windows each with similar complexity, it goes much faster and easier if you can design it graphically rather than typing it all out.

Is there a GUI design app for the Tkinter / grid geometry?

I have a datagridview that i bind from an sql table, in that dv i have those attributes: Id, Name and Price. When i set the SortMode of the Name Columns to Automatic and i click on the header of this column i can sort this dv based on the first letter of the Name, this way i can order products based on their first letters ( Acumulator, Boat, CocaCola, Engine etc). 

Is there a way this thing to happen without clicking the header of the column Name. I am looking some code that will do this job when the form will load.

However when I display this, the TextBoxes are squashed up with their top and bottom borders touching the TextBox above/below. What is the best way to add vertical space to the rows in this layout?
